Looks good but....
My XG350L seems to have a transmission problem which the dealership cannot fix and the manufacturer is unwilling to allow replacement parts. It drives great most of the time, but occasionally and without warning has no power on startup, almost as though it is not in gear. It looks great both inside and out. Hyundai has done a good job with design and features, if they can just get over the continuing transmission difficulties they will have a competitor at the top of the mid- size car category which looks and feels like a much more expensive automobile.
Wow!! what a car
My XG350L is a wonderful car to drive. A little slow on the takeoffs but has a lot of upper end torque. Great gas mileage. My wife loves the heated seats in the winter months. After owning my share of Town Cars and full size Buicks, I never thought I would take to a smaller car such as this. But, it's the best car purchase I have ever made in my 40+ years of driving. I looked at the new Azera for a replacement car, it has a lot of good features but really didn't like the body style. The XG350 needs to make a comeback. So, you folks at Hyundai.... "Listen to your public" Bring the FLAGSHIP BACK!!
Dam good driver
I own a automotive repair shop in Huntington beach California. I never thought I would ever own a Hyundai! I have to say this 350 is one of the best cars I ever had and I have had a lot autos. Don't take my word for it,,, Go down take one for a drive!!!!!!!
XG350L
I have owned Mercedes Benz's, BMW's, VW's and a Corvette this is one of the nicest cars I haved owned. Right now you can get a xg350L for about 21000 plus tax and tags. This is one heck of a lot of car for 21Gs. It has more options that my BMW 7 series that I traded in on the XG350L had. The mirrors point tothe curb when the car is shifted in reverse. Iknow this does not have sport suspension but remember it is a luxury car and if you drive it like a luxuary car it drives very nice.
air bag could be deadly
Bought the car new in 2005,,love the way it handles and the space but only a short time after the purchase the air bag light came on. The 1st 4 years it was back in the shop about 4 times for repair to wiring under the seat. Had a few years no problem but then about a year ago it came on again. (Which means no airbags) I contacted the Hyundai shop and it will cost almost $200 to just check it out. If it can be fixed the $200 will apply to the bill but who know's what that will be. Decided to keep on driving it, but every time I see that red light I pray the air bags are not needed. I agree with a LOT of people that has also posted this problem that there needs to be a recall. Shirley C. The airbag on my Hyundai has not worked since my last comment which is a concern for any front seat passengers. I am very short so have to move the seat very close to the steering wheel so for me I am probably better off. I have heard many stories of people getting hurt from the airbag. I still think there should be a recall because just fixing the current problem only lasts a short time. Shirley C.
