Nice Rental Car

We rented this car for 4 days. No experience with Hyundais before. It fit my 6'7" husband very well. We thought the ergonomics were great! It was very quiet, as quiet as our Avalon. We thought it handled fine. The suspension seemed fine to us (Edmund's does not like it). We were a bit disappointed in the gas mileage. When it comes time to purchase another sedan, we will definitely give it consideration.

Try It You Will Like It

After my retirement I decided to purchase the XG350L rather than coninue with a mid-size luxury car. I now have an attractive, comfortable, reliable car with more amenities than previous cars. My friends are marveled with the ride and interior. Several have noted the Infinity sound system and said, "wow, you are now driving an Infiniti"! I have concluded that all autos have one or two shortcomings. I am pleased with the Hyundai and can make a larger donation to charities with the money saved.

Best Bang for the Buck

My wife recently bought a 350L. For around $2 $25000 not counting a trade in, you get a lot of car, with features that surpass the Mercedes Benz I own. Hyundai has finally come around and built a fine automobile. Good power, solid but comfortable ride, no options everthing included. Amazing how the South Koreans can produce a car like this for the money. If you like to show off your car and how much it costs, this is not a car for you. But if you're a down to earth person, the Hyundai is your car. My wife has been asked 3 or 4 times what model Mercedes is it? Goes to show you where Mercedes is going with its designs.

Features at a lower cost

We bought the XG350L when we were looking to replace a fully loaded 1999 Chrysler LHS. Would have loved the new 300C but the price was prohibitive. The XG350L had all of the options our LHS had (and more) and was under $22,000. What a deal!

Looks and Feels Like Its "High-End"

I drove the XG-350 (rental) on several business trips to the Washington DC area. I actually thought I was getting into a blend of Jaguar and Lincoln the first time I saw it. It wasn't until I was out of the dark parking garage that I realized my "up-grade" was a XG-350. After that I made it a point to drive them when I could. Its solid, smooth, and quiet at, and above interstate speed limits. Truth is it will fly at relatively moderate RPM. At speed limit (65-70 mph) I get 32-33 MPH. Above speed limit 21-22 MPH is the norm. Its quietness will decieve you. Don't be surprised when you think you are doing 70 and its 85 or above. Love this car. Its a winner in all categories.
