Disappointing Rental
Drove one for a week on the island of Oahu on all kinds of roads. Found it to be underpowered, with a transmission that could not decide between gears, and thus would downshift and then upshift with small pressure on the accelerator. Lots of engine noise and anemic pickup. Cheap interior and dated controls. Not much fun to drive. Would avoid in future rentals. I normally drive a BMW X-1, and the difference in price would not be worth it.

Excellent Little SUV
I own a 2019 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate and have approximately 20,188 on my odometer. This little SUV gets great gas mileage I've had 1 Problem with my AC compressor which it froze but was covered under warranty. Best warranty without paying anything extra 100,000 Miles powertrain. Hyundai's have come a long way from the Hyundai EXCEL. LOL

Great SUV for the money!
My wife and I really enjoy our 2019 Tucson SE AWD. We've lived all over the US and driven this vehicle in snow throughout the Mid-West and New England. Where we currently live in New England, everyone owns a Subaru because of their snow/mud capabilities. I owned two Subarus before our Tucson and have never regretted our Tucson purchase. In fact, our Tucson has handled the snow and mud exceptionally well -- without issue. The warranty of Hyundai is great, too, which gives us peace of mind. Overall, we are extremely pleased and will continue to point folks to the Tucson. You can't go wrong!

Awesome car
I have had all kinds of cars. From sporty to my current suv. This car exceeds all expectations. Well most. It could be better with a faster pickup and better gas mileage. But don't get me wrong, its surely not bad. It has plenty room both front and back for passengers and the storage at the rear. The one thing I wish it had was auto closing the rear hatch. Its just an awesome car

Great car could get better gas milege.
I get about 27 mpg on average with a front wheel drive. My friend that has a honda crv all wheel drive gets over 30 mpg. My older elantra had roof rack mounts the Tuscon SE doesn't. Id did find a Yakama rack that fit for 620. It seem much larger than my Elantra, which I wanted and gets about the same mpg. All and all it is a good car with a good warranty.
So far so good
It’s going to be 3 years of driving my 2019 Tucson. Great little car to be zooming around town and more. It’s so nimble. Sometimes I feel like I could just pick it up myself and move it, hehe. My mpg is 25 around town and about 30 hwy. I use Sport mode a lot except when dry which gives me a better acceleration. I take it to the dealership I bought it from for all my oil changes, etc., this way I know the car was serviced right. I live in a town where all you see are Hyundais and Kias, so it seems that majority of people like these cars. The engine recall is the only thing I’m worried about but so far so good. Knock on wood I have not had any problems and the car performed well.

Gas tank
Plastic gas tank exposed under the car without any protection shield is a no no for me, my wife was driving on I75 no problem, until some one behind her noticed her, her car was licking gas, found out something punched two holes in the bottom of the gas tank, now spend $500 to towed the car home+ the cost to replace the tank, could it be worse (🔥) who knows if there wasn't no one behind her to noticed her thank God, I hope they fix that issue.
A small, smooth ride
I test drove a 2019 Tucson which was small to my surprise. It looked larger in photos. The ride was smooth; the suspension great, hardly feeling any bumps. The acceleration was acceptable but the interior was no larger than a Corolla. I declined on the purchase.
Very comfortable
Not enough acceleration from start
