Used 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport SUV Consumer Reviews
2017 Santa Fe Sport Loaded
I just recently leased a 2017 Santa Fe Sport and can't say enough good things about this SUV. I was looking for something reliable, low maintenance, and all the accessories that other high end SUV's typically have. I paid a little extra to have the premium and tech package but I felt it was well worth the price. The Santa Fe drives great drive and it is so quiet and very comfortable. This was my first Hyundai experience and I will certainly be a repeat customer.

Great SUV for the Money - Highly Underated
The Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is a quality vehicle for a reasonable price and comes with an available 10 yr, 100,000 mile warranty. The stylish look, quality workmanship, entertainment system, and instrumentation all work to provide a pleasant ride experience for both the driver and passengers. Some of my favorite aspects of the vehicle include the Bluetooth Technology, Blue Link Technology (similar to OnStar), ample cupholders (8), power driver's seat, rear vents, and rear reclining seats. Although I did not purchase the top of the line offering for the Hyundai Santa Fe, my Sport is fairly well appointed and there are only a few things that I would have added. For instance, leather seats, navigation, push button start, and remote start would make my vehicle complete. If you have the money, bump it up to the Ultimate experience. Hyundai has come a long way since their entrance into the U.S. market. This is a great vehicle that is highly under-rated.

Hesitates
Dangerous hesitation when merging into traffic, slowing down for a turn then accelerating replicates the problem. I never wrote a review like this before but felt strongly this is a safety concern. I am an ASE master tech with over 42 years of experience. The dealership is of no help. Filing with the National highway traffic safety administration. Do not buy or lease this car.

luv my new ride
My son is 6'2 and he was impressed when I took him for a ride and the front seat and leg room was great even for him. I am 5'6" and changed from a Ford Escape which I had made my mind up until I drove one of these and it had way more front room and rear seats are comfortable too. The ford Escape felt too confining for me and way too many controls for me, I do not need all that while driving. I love the bigger front seats for my long legs which is why I did not chose Honda or Toyota they are so small with the seats. My only complaint is the plastic door handles wonder how long they will last or what they will look like after awhile. I would think with small children which I do not have anymore these door knobs will break. I have only had my car going on 3 weeks probably to soon to answer most of your questions. I have never had an SUV and I just love being up higher to see and be seen by other vehicles.

Very Pleasant
I traded in a 16 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE for this vehicle. The seats were horrible. I went out and drove all of the competition from all the manufacturers and ended up on the Hyundai lot. I test drove a Tucsan, it was nice but to small. The Mgr said he would give me $6000. off. I asked if he had a similar deal on a larger vehicle, he handed me the remote to a Santa Fe Sport. It was black, not my favorite color. It has every option on a non turbo model. It was $37200. MSRP. The MGR told me he would give me $10,000. off if I would purchase it, so it ended up being cheaper than the Tucsan. In the end it only ended up being $9250. off because I did not want to use the more expensive Hyundai financing that had a $750. rebate and I would have had to refinance to get a lower finance rate and to me it was not worth the hassle. The interior is beautiful, along with the panoramic roof, leather interior in two tone grey. the power seats are very comfortable . This SUV has a very quiet comfortable ride, the stereo sounds fantastic. It has so many nice options on it. I did not want a turbo model, I had a bad experience with a turbo on a Ford eco boost model and did not want to go down that road again. The 2.4 non turbo drives very well. I just took it on a trip across the mountains to Eastern Oregon and it performed flawlessly. I never wanted for more power, and it never feels like it needs more. I got 27.6 MPG going to Oregon and 32.3 coming back, all freeway. I had 1700 miles on the odometer leaving for the trip and 2380 when I arrived home. I had averaged 23-24 mpg around town before the trip. I drive this very easy, I am not hard on it. These are excellent figures for an AWD. While I was down in Oregon I purchased a large screen TV for my brothers group home, It swallowed it with room to spare. These vehicles have great cargo room.
