2025 Hyundai Kona Consumer Reviews

Looks good on the outside horrible on the inside
On the exterior it looks great and sound quiet. On the inside the only nice thing is the screen. It's extremely loud inside. The seat are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. I'm 2 hours in to a 4 hour trip. My neck hurts, my head hurts, as well as my hip and lower back. The back seat lean back way too far to be any form of comfortable. Far from any luxury. Going back to Ford.

basic tech features dont work & unsafe curve drive
Basic technology features dont work on 2025 Kona limited: voice recognition nonexistent when using any car play to search for directions in google maps and waze. each time you search even for a basic or common restaurant, store, etc. both google maps and waze retrieve a list of destinations that are not remotely close to what was requested. even searching for target, chicago, IL, retrieves a town in another state. Additionally the wireless charger doesnt work for iphones. Neither my husbands iphone 12 or my iphone 15 pro will charge after 45minutes on wireless charger (even with the orange light on indicating its charging and on the iphone, the battery itself showing green to indicate charging). When I took vehicle in to be have these issues looked at, the car play voice and wireless charger worked for the Hyundais service technicians Android. To rule out an issue with Apple iphones; I tried both features in my husbands 2025 Honda Pilot and the voice worked and my phone charged 2% in 10min on his wireless charger. I also didnt have the voice car play issue or wireless charging issues with either my 2019 mazda 3 (using the same iphone model). So its strictly a Hyundai Kona issue. Given these are not new features in cars these days, neither one should have an issue working. Additionally, when driving on a road thats curving, the car feels like its going to tip over when going anywhere over 25-30mph. The speed limit on these roads are 40-45mph and other SUVs fly by me but I feel like I’m going to tip over if i attempt to go over 30mph.

Good technology
Despite having the car for only three weeks, I am really satisfied with its performance. I love its sporty style, its comfortable and spacious interior, and its technology is great for its value.
