A Well Kept Secret!

2007 Hyundai Elantra SE 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 4A)

Looking for better gas mileage on our daily commute, we downsized from a 99 Lexus ES-300 to the Elantra, and we don't feel deprived at all. We test drove the Nissan Altima and Honda Accord and Civic, Subarus and also the Sonata, but we ended up buying the Elantra 4DR SE (with sunroof) because of the interior roominess, comfortable ride, excellent handling, braking and acceleration. Not to mention that all of the safety features are standard. We've put 500 miles on the car in 2 weeks and are getting an average of 28 MPG or so in mixed city and HWY driving (at 65-70) with lots of hills. This car is a great value with a comfortable ride.

Bought new in 2007, had no mechanical issues. Great service from Fitzgerald Hyundai. Excellent ride quality. Received excellent trade in value for vehicle as it had low miles and was very clean. I bought expecting a very reliable car, and that is what I had for 8 years. Traded it in and got over $1500 above average price for true value trade in. All city dtiving.

I love this car. i went from a 04 elantra to the 07 elantra. the design of the car is great. i really like the new look. it's zippy and sporty. the interior is roomy and the blue dash lites are great. plenty of room for tall people. the ride is smooth and comfortable. i really love this car. before my o4 elantra i had a 96 accent and that was a very dependable too!

4 Years Later and 63,000 Miles - Fantastic

I bought the car new in 2007 for only $14,900 out the door. The car has been excellent, no issues at all. I had the 60K service done, regular oil changes, one new set of tires, a new battery, and a couple of sets of wiper blades. Except for the battery going out, the car has never let me down. It looks great on the inside but the outside is a little boring. I would love to step up to the 2012 Genesis but I hate to have a car payment. My car is paid for and it works great. I've not had any issues driving in the snow. I'll probably have this car for another trouble free 4 years. I'm 6'3'' with plenty of headroom.

I bought my 2007 Elantra in December. I don't have a lot of miles on it yet, but so far I love it. I have been looking for other 2007 Elantras on the road but so far I haven't seen any. I am not sure why that is. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a great mid-size sedan for under $20,000.
