Used 2006 HUMMER H3 SUV Consumer Reviews
Great Vehicle
I have to say that owning this vehicle has been even more fun than I imagined. Good looks, nice interior, a solid build quality and just an overall good value. I have yet to drive a vehicle that I didn't think could use improvements and this one is no exception. I find it a bit difficult to adjust the seat due to the tight placement of the controls. It's a minor annoyance because I rarely adjust the seat. As far as the "power" issue is concerned, this powertrain works well for me. It tows my jet boat without a problem and the pickup (for me) is more than adequate. If an upgraded engine was available I would keep the extra money in my pocket.money.

This SUV is phenomenal to my family and I. It's "rugged" capabalities are majorly impressive! Not the most power in it's class, but we're not looking to race a Hummer. lol. It's built for what it's meant for. Going where everywhere else can't, and getting away from it all. It rides super comfortable, smooth. Keen suspension. Best Sunroof ever. Best Monsoon 7 Speaker system w/ XM ever. I can't say how many heads are drawn to it when it's driving down the road. Looks like no other. Feels like no other. Is like no other. A Economy Hummer
Very nice, strong vehicle. Awesome design, obviously a hummer. It gets plenty of head turns.
H3
Before I purchased this vehicle, I heard the acceleration was poor. I do notice that you have to floor it if you are on an incline (like on a freeway), but I don't mind at all. This vehicle, to me is more about cruising than trying to race other cars. Haven't tried offroading, but I'm sure as Hummer it should be fine.
A Head Turner
Great driving experiance for under $40K. Commanding view of the road, much more than our TBlazer XL. Got it loaded up with Lux Package, Chrome Package, Head Rest DVD System, etc, all for far below "what others are paying" on this site. Make no mistake, it rides like a truck. But it is classy, turning radius is exceptional and I can't wait to take it through a snowstorm. Very rigid truck - you just feel in command when driving it. Get the step rails - you'll never get in or out without them. Unlike the H2, it doesn't scream "look at me I'm special". It is not a rocket, but unless you will be towing a 5th Wheel (don't), the Inline 5 Cyl is more than enough - don't listen to the complaints.
