Used 2006 HUMMER H3 SUV Consumer Reviews
I love my H3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just purchased the H3 in November '05. I love just about everything about it. One thing though ... they didn't put enough interior lights especially on the visor mirror. Very happy with the way it drives. :)
Awesome
Before my ordered H3 arrived I was concerned about power. Don't be. This vehicle is a great performer, great ride and its got class. Thanks GM.

Oops, reality check
Update to my 11/22 review. On 11/26 the transmission went out. Dealership says no others have been reported losing the tranny. They loaned me an H3, so I was happy with that. They took 2 1/2 weeks to fix it though! They have now had it longer than me. I got to drive one with the Adventure package, though, and liked the performance in a heavy snow that we had. Got my H3 back two days ago and seems fine. Keeping my fingers crossed. Love most everything else about it. Can live with the mileage and power. Lux pkg is nice. Do watch backing up, however.
Move Over Wrangler
I've fallen in love with Hummer H3. It has great stock performance on mud terrain, and it can be submerged in water. The ride is comfortable, and since it's manual, it's a blast to drive. It rumbles like an F250, but thin enough to get through off-road trails in the woods. When I first heard of the H3 I felt it wasn't going to be "manly" enough for me, but the first time I drove it, the car changed my mind completely. It's extremely spacious, and the interior is perfect for it's off-road, military look; yet it's very modern and designed well for the not-so military-type. Speakers are great as well as the subs. Seats are comfortable. It handles well at high speed, and has so-so acceleration.
Great Truck w/quirks
Just purchased the H3 a few weeks ago. I'm impressed with the styling and the overall vehicle quality. I am happy with my decision so far, however, the engine could use more torque and HP, which I am actively seeking aftermarket products for. I actually use my SUV for hauling materials I need during my remodel project, and so far, I've not been disappointed. Believe it or not, I traded an '04 Cayenne for this, as I was tearing it apart hauling tile, lumber and concrete in it....trust me, Porsche hasn't figured out what an SUV is for...however, the Cayenne S would smoke this H3 on the street. Anyway, I'll use this for a few years and see how it goes....so far, I'm impressed.
