Mid-Life?
I have wanted an S2000 since they came out. At that time, I settled for an Accord since I still had teens in the house. Well, I just hit 40 and what better gift to give myself! I love it! I don't take it grocery shopping because of the limited space, but I truly enjoy cruising around. It has met and exceeded my expectations. And I have had so many compliments on it already. I know I made the right choice!
fun but touchy
This vehicle is realy small especially for a 6 foot guy like me. This car runs at extremely high revs and wants to stall just @ 3,500 rpm. everything in it is real tight and sensitive. the interior could have been thought out a little better cuz its pretty cramped. Makes funny buzzing noises because of the high rpm's. handles great though, most likely due to its size. Amazing power for just a 2.2 liter, especialy the turbo charged version. Good exterior design. Have to be experianced in order to bring out the cars full power.

Excellent Sport Convertible
The S2000 is an excellent sports car that does not carry the large price- tag. The handling, acceleration, and stopping ability is great. The interior though not plush, is very nice. The top can be deployed very easily and a hard top is also available. Similar to the corvettes of old. It brings back memories of the way sports cars were in the past without the loss of gas milage. It is plenty fast and brings back the delight in just driving....An excellent automobile.
Im in love with this car!
I gave up a 93K Porsche C4S for this car...not because of money...and I dont miss a thing about the Porsche! I smile every time the top goes down and Im driving down the road in the this Japanese "Alfa Romeo. This car captures all the fun AND beauty of the original Italian convertible but with much more speed and obviously reliability.
Fun car for little cash.
The engine sounds great at high RPM
