New Honda Fan!! This is a must test drive!
I started my search for a pickup about 3 months ago. At almost 60 yrs old I wanted this truck to be comfortable, quite inside, very user friendly and not to break the bank with retirement not to far away. All I can say is WOW. This Ridgeline is hands down the most complete all around pickup on the road today. If you need a "mudder" or are towing more than the 5K, then it's not for you but for the 95% of us who only need the 4X4 on rare occasions, the AWD is plenty good enough for you. And in the "E" you get every option you can think of and all for just under 40K with the deal. That is crazy good. The GM & Ford models would all be over 50K for the same options. Fit and quality are A+. And I can get on a average tank of gas 23 miles all around MPG. I really don't have any complaint. I have always been a Ford person and the new Ranger isn't out until Jan/Feb of 19. I didn't want to wait and I'm glad it made this purchase.

The Ride is Fabulous compared to every other truck
Solid functional truck that doesn't ride like a truck. Yes, I really wanted a Tacoma, loved the look, but I hated the ride and the interior didn't compare to the Ridgeline. Not to mention the bed was smaller and not as functional in the Tacoma. Surprisingly I found the dealer willing to negotiate the price and got a little more than $4000 off the sticker which has not been my experience at a Honda dealer. If you can get past the front end not looking mean enough then this truck has everything you could need for the normal guy that isn't going to use this as a true off road truck. The interior is simply way too nice to get dirty, such a classy cab and really well put together space. My only knock is the voice controls - my 2014 BMW is so easy to just say Call whoever and it does it. This truck has multi steps to make a call, very frustrating. The gas mileage is great for a truck compared to the others. Never thought I would buy a truck but this is the perfect compromise, love the trunk bed and love not having to borrow a friend's truck or ask for help. Honda reliability, great ride, luxury interior and good gas mileage. This is a winner. Have almost 30k miles on it, solid and dependable, no issues.

Lifestyle truck
I'm 66 years of age and have owned practically every large crew cab diesel 4x4 truck out there over the years but times and needs change. Do not haul 5th wheelers or offshore boats or need for work anymore. This Honda is one sweet ride and serves my needs perfectly. Only complaint is no locking tailgate. 26 mpg hwy, not bad at all. Update on hwy mpg...28.5 last fill by gallon for miles method. Cruise at 73mph. Just put new OEM tailgate lock on. No problems with truck yet. Update @ 24000 miles needed to replace front left wheel bearing under warranty. Seams a little soon for that issue. I will say it preformed well in a foot of snow. 32000 miles and still loving truck. Update 55,500 miles and problem free to date. 65000 miles and replaced all 4 struts, about that time. I do haul and tow a lot. New front wheel bearings will be done under lifetime warranty. Problem free, still live truck

I love this truck
Handles and rides better than most cars. If you don't need to tow a huge camper or boat , this is a great vehicle. The only complaint is that the high beam assisst has never worked properly.

Update to : Great vehicle except the radio
Good ride, acceleration and handling. Mileage a little disappointing. Good utility, love the in bed trunk. Audio system is antiquated but after eight months, numerous phone calls to Honda USA, five visits to the dealership and many follow up phone calls the second replacement radio they installed actually works for hands free calls. The service manager, Mike Shippe at Waikem Honda was great, but corporate just hoped I would give up and go away.
