Used 2020 Honda Pilot SUV Consumer Reviews
Every bell and whistle in the book
Love our new Honda Pilot Touring. Every bell and whistle in the book. And filled with safety features for the family. If you are not in minivans, this is the best smart looking fam car you can buy. And buy it from Ed Voyles in Atlanta. The experience was awesome.

I bought it new a couple years ago and I’ve been very happy with it. No problems with it at all
The Middle Child of SUVs
Overlooked, underappreciated yet solid and reliable. Not one of the "-est" SUVs... prettiest, coolest, sexiest, etc. Nor is it the ugliest, slowest, or clumsiest of the SUVs we considered. Like most Hondas, the 2020 Pilot is a highly reliable, modestly appointed, conservatively styled, people hauler. The flexibility and functionality are in the top 10% yet the design may be a bit homely or pedestrian compared to others. It's a B+ all day long, sometimes sneaking into the A- category. Among the highlights are the comfort and drivability -- the ride is not squishy, but also isn't bone-jarring or truck like. Capable in snow, and on the beach/sand. I'd assume modest offroad functionality as well, but we have not put ours to that test. There are plenty of creature comforts and gadgets to satisfy the techy and ADHD folks. And yet, those elements may be this vehicles weakest link. Start with the electronic gear selection. It's on the center console where the physical shift lever would traditionally be, but why? It breaks up a really usable area needlessly for some misguided attempt at emulating traditional mechanics. It could quite literally been anywhere. Then there's the selection buttons and process itself -- reverse is easy to get to, neutral and drive require you to look at the buttons to be sure you have the right one. Going from one to another (with your foot on the break pedal) should be an easy change, but the transmission, or the selection electronics, is sometimes slow to change or even confused and you find yourself not in any gear for a long moment. The safety functions are nice, but not intuitive with lane departure and other options that could be driver preferences hard to find or change easily. Last, the auto-restart function that shuts the engine down at redlights and stops may have its heart in the right place for conservation purposes, but it can be downright annoying in some conditions. Gratefully, that function selection is easily turned on or off with a center console button. Sadly, it must be overridden each time the car is started, since the reset to engage that function set to on by default. Power is plentiful and the fuel efficiency is decent. There is no noticeable economy improvement between econ mode in the on or off selection and there is also no noticeable gain by leaving the auto shutdown function engaged and untouched. Cosmetically the vehicle is pleasant enough to look at, with no real angles that are cringeworthy. A minor beef with the up-model package aluminum wheels is the ease of subjecting them to curb rash since the tire and wheel are virtually flush. Typically a rim offset and some tire bulge will expose the tires to a bit of cosmetic damage in a tussle with a curb during parallel parking but in this application the sidewall height and flush configuration put the rims right at normal curb height and primed for damage. A bit of extra attention solves the issue of course. Generally speaking this was a solid choice and we have no regrets for the time being. Obtaining it in 2020 and in the midst of a pandemic, we only put about a third to half our normal mileage on through the middle of 2021. Time will tell.

Love my 2020 Pilot EX-L
I love the exterior and interior of my Pilot. I compared it to other SUVs and this was the best fit for me. It’s smooth! So smooth while driving! Excellent ride! I don’t have use for the 3rd row, so I folded it flat. Plenty of room for everything from grocery’s to plants or bushes! I bought mine new several months ago. First new SUV I've ever had . I did have a used one in excellent condition, but a different make. Love the handling of the V6, as well as the ride. The safety features are great. I like that it can go into Econ mode- and the remote start is excellent . Gas mileage is also very good , esp for an SUV. The leather interior is plush and comfy and I've enjoyed every drive. Visibility is also very good! It has very nice features but not ones I don’t need or want. It accelerates perfectly - very quick pick up when changing lanes. Perfect also for New England weather. I just can’t say enough about this vehicle :) I’m so glad I bought it!
