Used 2006 Honda Odyssey Consumer Reviews
We Love our Van
This van is wonderful! Our other cars are Lexus RX and Lexus sedan. This van is amazing - two kids live in the back with plenty of room for soccer gear, karate equipment, friends for sleepovers, toys, games, beach trips - even a full size sofa went for a ride one day! Tons of room. Captains seats are easily removable. Very comfortable seats - even the back bench is passable for adults. Great handling and pickup for a big vehicle. Easy to park with the backup camera and parking sensors. Fantastic turning radius! Only thing I hate-the run flats-like the idea of being able to drive without changing a flat, but the cost of replacements is too high, and they need early replacement. Love this van!
Almost perfect
I replaced a near-luxury mid-size wagon with my first minivan, and Odyssey Touring ended up on top. The styling, driving dynamics, comfort and features all topped competition (Sienna, Quest, Town&Country). It is the most car-like driver of the lot, and top-line Touring has almost all the gizmos I could hope for. Fuel economy has been surprisingly good as well, besting my V6 wagon. As a first-time minivan owner, I'm still being surprised by the amount of space and convenience; I should have made the switch sooner. The Touring has nice big wheels and just the right amount of brightwork, too; not your mom's minivan.

What Kids Want
This is the vehicle kids want. Our oldest [4 yrs] squealed with glee when we took delivery. Easy to load in and load out. The XM, NAV and DVD keep us all entertained at the same time. Dual climate control is nice. I have owned Acura and Honda in the past and would expect the same excellent reliability as we have had this vehicle for only 10 days. Honda offers a good product for the money, but would be well advised to someday do something about the road noise that is persistent in all Honda and even Acura that I have driven. Wheel well insulation/sound dampening along with double insulated doors [like German cars] would greatly increase the solid feel of the van.
Great Vehicle
By far the best mini van I have owned. Much better ride, quality, features... than Town and Country.
Honda saved family's life
A dump truck ran a stop sign hit the Honda on the wife's front fender and then jack- knifed a 20 foot trailer into the rear of the van. The only part of the honda not damaged was the pass side sliding door. The wife and 3 kids walked out with slight bruises. The EMT people and police were behind my wife as the accident happened. They said they thought they were killed and couldn't believe they walked out with little or no injuries. The side curtain airbags in the 2nd & 3rd rows saved head injuries. Everyone who has seen the car said the fact they walked away is a miracle from the good Lord above. Our family thanks Honda. (by the way, a great car also:)
