Best value of all mianivans
Bought an EX two weeks ago for $900 below invoice ($23800) because of factory to dealer incentive. We could not have been more pleased with this purchase. My wife and I love the way it drives and the kids love its space and big windows-for sight seeing. The best value of all the minivans on the market by far.
Love my 2004 Odyssey
I love my 2004 Honda Odyssey. It is quick and really good looking. I have always said I would never drive a mini- van. I still wouldn't but I would buy another Odyssey! The kids (ages 4 and 5) love the dvd player and we love the wireless headsets that come with it. The fold down (completely flat) 3rd row seat it great. It is a little heavy and takes a little bit of muscle but it creates a ton of room when flattened. The only thing I don't like is that is sucks gas. I feel like I am forever having to stop to get gas. Other than that, I love my Odyssey and will never drive another brand of car. My next vehicle will be a Honda.

AWESOME VEHICLE
My brother own one and I never drove it. When I got mine, I was so impressed that I will not buy any other van than the Odyssey. The drive is so smooth that sometimes I have trouble hearing whether the engine is on or not. The safety features are awesome.
great van
we just had a baby, it'd recommend this vehicle.
Odyssey 2004 EX
Leased the vehicle from local dealer. Excellent performance, reliability, build quality. Wished I had waited 6 mos. for the new improved redesign.
my odessey
This van is exceptional and I love the transition from my accord to the odessey van.
Not just a mini van
I had an Explorer & traded it for the Honda Accord when gas prices started flying up I got pregnant 2 years later & getting the infant seat into the backseat of the Accord was very difficult especially since my husband & I are very tall I was NOT the type to drive a mini van so I looked only at SUV's A friend had an Odyssey and let me look at it That was all it took I wanted one We went to test drive one I fell in love with it even more We bought one that day I get all the comforts and features of an SUV & I look cool driving it The seats are comfy the third seat really does lie flush when folded down I absolutely LOVE my Odyssey
Many things to offer but...
Out of all the other vans I looked at this one was by far the most smartest minivan buying decicions I could make. The mpg was good, price was much lower than toyota and dodge, and I know that Honda builds very realiable cars. It even looks better than all the other vans with its unique front face and long sides ending with large tail lights. And you know when it comes with 240hp it has the capabilities to do the unthinkable. I had an old Dodge caravan but that didnt last very long. It would stall all the time, even on stop lights and sometimes it can take more than 10 tries to get it working. It only had about 200hp and it didnt offer much. Glad I bought it
Best Minivan/ Best Auto Maker
I drove a 2003 Windstar, 2004 Freestar, and a 2003 Sedona. I used my father-in- law's 99 T/C Limited and 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan (falling apart)as baselines for the Chrysler products. These guys are not in the same LEAGUE as Honda. We so happy we made this purchase. I don't know where to start: design, quality, structural integrity, handling, drivetrain (3.5L/240hp)...Buy the Best (Safest/Quality/Design/Engineering/ Resale) for your family, Honda! Chrysler may sell more minivans than Honda, true, but that is due to the rental fleet sales and production volume. Why do you think Chrysler introduced an "EX" model??? Still playing catch up...
My new Honda Odyssey with RES
I love that the Honda Odyssey came out with the RES with the cloth interior before you needed to get an EX with leather and RES. It's a great minivan my wife primarily drives it with our kids and they love it especially on long trips! It's very roomy, comfortable, plenty of storage space, it just rides great.
I've driven them all, Honda best value.
I drive a minivan as my business vehicle. I have driven Fords, Chevrolet's and Pontiacs. I test drove the Dodge and the Kia, as well as the older Sienna. This van beats them all as far as performance and reliability. I put over 30,000 miles a year on these vehicles and the Honda has given me absolutely no grief. I can't say that for my other vans. At this point, I had each of the others in the shop for one thing or another. With the exception of oil changes and tire rotations, this van hasn't seen a mechanic. If this is indicative of all Honda vehicles, I can honestly say this will not be my last Honda purchase.
We love our Odyssey!
The Honda Odyssey lives up to its well deserved ratings. Handling is excellent.Very responsive, and love the european road feel.Gas mileage is acceptable. The Odyssey's ride is noticebly smooth. The fit and finish is superb.Interior room is well thought out, and feels almost spacious. With third seat folded down, ample room for almost anything a family of four would need to take on vacation. The entertainment package is teriffic for the kids, leaves mom & dad in peace on long trips.
Honda Odyseey
Excellent handling, accelleration, and braking. Quiet and comfortable ride for all. Great for getting kids and adults in and out.
My Favorite Car
Have purchased many cars and this is the best service I have ever received. the people are friendly, helpful and prompt with service.
happy with the purchase
Great van for a family that takes lots of little trips here and there. Not too sporty looking, but we had great customer service from Honda (not from Toyota) and loved what Consumer Reports had to say about it. The ride is a bit stiffer than my old Grand Caravan, and the dash is a bit awkward, but the reliability is what I wanted most of all this go around. See ya, Dodge!
Love it
With two children, age 4 and 13, I love this vehicle. I never thought I would be caught dead in a minivan, but I must admit, this is a 'cool' van. My kids both love it and don't mind the long trips anymore.
Honda Review
Great vehicle. Reliable, drives great, lots of room, very flexible. Out performs any other vehicle in it's class - we drove them all, and the Honda was by far the best.
Best Van for the $$
This is a wonderful minivan. My kids love the DVD system, while I love still listening to music I like up front. The interior is very spacious, and I especially like the more conservative exterior design. I bought a 2004 model in fear of an "ugly" 2005 replacement. Nissan killed the Quest with its redesign - I only hope Honda doesn't follow suit. Honda needs to change the size of the fuel reserve - more than 1/3 of the tank being full when the light comes on is ridiculous.
Great Minivan
Excellent engine/transmission. Very smooth ride. Drives like a car. Interior room huge and versatile. We have the DVD system with wireless headphones which works flawlessly. Build quality is very good and the van feels solid. Will definitely consider buying a 3rd generation ody in a few years.
Realistic comments
Still the best "Driving" and practical Minivan on the market. Has power, handling, huge interior space and good design features. You may sacrifice some highway smoothness to get these driving characteristics, but is a fair trade-off.With the current $259/month lease, can't be beat. High expected resale value means exceptional lease rates. Gives you great driving confidence in a Minivan.
Best Van for the Money
This is the best van by far!!! It is much cheaper than the Toyota and is built better than the dodge!!! A definate keeper!!!
lovin' my honda
Just about had our Odyssey one month now. One question we had was why we didn't buy one sooner! After several years in a big Expedition, finally decided it was time to take the plunge into the minivan world. Are we ever glad that we did. Love this van. It feels like you're driving a car! Fun to drive, too. Handles like a dream. Love the power sliding doors and foldaway rear seat. So convenient with small children. Kids love the DVD, and so do the parents! Just finished a long trip across the state of South Dakota without a peep from the back. What a relief on a long trip! This van has got power to boot. Clipped along on the interstate nicely.
Car
Best ever. The most comfortable drive. The "Best Buy"
Feel a Part of Class
I love my Honda Odyssey. It is classy, it suits my expanding family...I am a grandmother. My grandkids love to ride with Granma. I feel safe...the Honda Company is keeping all the maintainance current. I raised my own kids in a Volkswagon Bug...quite a difference!! I am a Granma with class! It is also easier for my 93 year old mother to get in and out. The SUV is too high for her to climb into.
reliable and sturdy
I am very happy with my Odyssey -- First of all I feel very safe being such a sturdy auto. The seats are so comfortable that you don't mind taking long drives (guests have said this too!). The navigational system has allowed me the freedom to go places I would never attempt by myself. I highly recommend this vehicle!
I love my Odyseey
I love my Odyssey!
Performance Guy turned into a Grizwald
We chose Honda based on three main variables: 1Roominess 2Reliabil.3Value I felt Honda gave us plenty of room(if not too much)The fold down seat allows for alot of storage. The reliab. of Honda products in our house has always been great. The Value was a big key to our purchase. We did not see the 'incentives' given by the other manufac. to be real.A $32000 Dodge with incent. of $3500 still lacked many of the feat./perfor.we got in Honda. We found pricing the packages to be confusing and misleading. We like the fact that you had basically 3 packages to choose from and that was it.
SO FAR SO GOOD
JUST GOT IT .....LOVIN IT
My Honda
NOT HAPPY WITH PAINT JOB!
Dream van
This van is everything that a Honda advertises. 240 Hp is more than adequate, very comfortable, all around excellence
Honda review
This is the absolute best vehicle I have ever owned.
My 3rd Odyssey
I love my new 04...maybe should have held out for the 05 though !!!
excellent
putyour body for 12 hours driving and you will understand
Spiffy
I love it. It is the quickest excelleration of any van I drove. It is sooo comfortable. It is the most solid by far. Great views. Back seat is pretty heavy.
The Odyssey is Awesome
The van is the greatest. Test drive the Dodge caravan and then testdrive the Odyssey. You wont be able to resist it. The only thing it needs is a larger gas tank. Other than that I dont have one complaint.
overall
handles fine, gas milage 23 mpg with only 900 miles on van. has a slight hum or noise when in 5th gear and just lightly on throttle at 1500 rpm. also sounds like a rattle in under carriage on rough roads, other wise no complaints
More Fun than Expected
Wonderful design for the interior allows the driver to decide everything or let it all be automatic. Comfortable, too - like driving around in your favorite easy chair. So much passenger room means many on-the-road parties. All my passengers comment, unsolicited, on comfort, fun and feeling of being safe. I do wish it were more economical on the gas mileage.
our first honda bye bye rover
just drive it and the rest will take care of its self.
lizzie's review
i loved it I thought it was great. my mom doesn't like it because she can not get into it but I like it!!!!!!
Best Mini Van Ever
This is our 3rd Honda Odyessy. I owned a 1996 Model for 7 years, traded it in for a 2003, which I wrecked (oops) and traded it in for a 2004, which I LOVE! Rides great, has plenty of room and excellent gas milage. I am a BIG fan of Honda's. I also owned a 94 Accord...
It's alright
My Chrysler T&C LXi was refusing to start at random intervals, so I decided to get the gold standard; Honda Odyssey. I paid full retail and got a van that had a mystery groan. I owned it for three months. After 3 weeks in the shop, they'd found and welded a body joint that never got made in the factory. I refused to keep it; Honda refused to replace until we were on the verge of a BBB arbitration meeting. The replacement (which still cost me $1000 more) had a rattle in the A-pillar, a noisy front seat tray, and some buggy dome light switches. This is not the great van that I expected. It's only okay. Detroit can unpucker a little. I guess Honda's are designed and built by humans, after all.
Pleased with our decision
We are pleased on our decision. We waited several years and this year was the year to make our move.
My Odyssey
The vehicle handles superbly. Excellent ease of use and reliability. Provides great comfort for all trips.
Great van, minor improvements needed
This is our 3rd Honda and we shopped around a long time before deciding. I love the power sliding doors. The make it so easy when carrying two kids to get the doors open and get them in. There are additional features that I would have liked (that were not offered at all) such as a sunroof, outside temperature gauge, power rear lift door, and power passenger side seat. Overall though, I would buy Honda again and again.
We love our Odyssey
We love our Odyssey. With two kids and grandparents who love to come with us when we go places, it makes more convenient for everyone to just take one car. I usually have the third row seat folded down for the extra room for the double stroller, kids toys or what ever else we need to haul. Then when we need the extra seating room, we just pop up the seat, no problem.
Best D*mn Minivan
Simply the best version of the most practical car on the road.
From Sports Car to MiniVan
A new job required that I purchase a minivan for hauling medical equipment. I just couldn't imagine getting rid of my sporty little car in exchange for what I thought would be a cumbersome boat. Much to my surprise, the odyssey has proved me wrong. It is very easy to drive and ride is remarkably comfortable. The easy conversion features make it fantastic for hauling equipment AND people. It's unbelievably spacious! I LOVE MY ODYSSEY!
cool 8's
its great and i love it and it is so cool and the only reason i gave it eights was because i never give higher
best minivan ever
i have 3 children, all boys ages 6 & 4 yr olds and a 17 month old. we always use this van everywhere we go, from grocery shopping to parties to out of towns. this vehicle has very spacious back compartment. we went camping & were able to fit in tons of stuff. very good handling and spacious interior w/ roomy leg space. it is close to the ground so you don't have to worry about tipping or rolling over.
Excellent vehicle
The very best out there.
