My baby
Love my VAN!! I wouldn't change a thing. I would have paid twice as much for the DVD player...worth every cent.

TERRIBLE GAS MILEAGE!!!
I purchased my 04' Odyssey over the Sienna an although the vehicle rides nice I am very upset over the very low gas mileage I am getting (12-16 mpg). I have a 2003 Ford F150 Supercrew with the V8 that is getting much better mileage than this car. The dealer and Honda America both say that 12-16 mpg is acceptible and within the expected range!! Unbelievable - why do they put 19/24 on the window sticker then? With gas pushing $2/gallon I would recommend a different vehicle for this reason alone.
"Odie the Odyssey"
My wife and I traded in our 1998 Grand Voyager SE in on the Odyssey, and couldn't be any happier with the choice we made. The kids love it. I know 2 other people who own these, and couldn't be any more happier than we are. Keep it up
My other Honda
We bought the Odessey a couple of months ago. I don't know why we've waited so long? I love it!! It drives like a car and the gas mileage is pretty good, way better than the SUV we where going to get. It fits my children comfortably.
Can't go wrong with an Odyssey
The Odyssey has lived up to it's name. I chose a Honda because of the reputation. I have had no problems at all in the 9 months that I've owned it. It's gone on many long drives, including Canada (starting point: NC) It's greatest cosmetic features are the "disappearing rear seat" and all of the cupholders. It does lack some of the many compartments that other minivans supply (could use a good place for loose change). It will be even more popular once they install the split 3rd row seat. As expected, you can't go wrong with a Honda.
Possibly the best car ever
I have had 4 Accords prior to buying the Odyssey. This is an amazing van. Its safe, comfortable, fun to drive, and has Honda's thoughtfulness in every detail. I was a little bit disappointed in the mileage at first, but it has improved as the van has broken in. I drive between 25-30k per year and this is by far the most comfortable vehcile I've ever owned. Highly recommended!
First NEW Car! Way cool!
Been the owner of a 1990 Caravan for 13 years, and have poured a ton of $$ into it over the years. Tried to avoid a car payment, but this van is soooooo worth it! We've owned a Civic, a Prelude, have an Accord and now the Odyssey the Honda product is just amazing. The drive, the safety and reliability you just can't find in many makes. I'll have this for at least 'til the kids go off to college (15 years) and have no doubts it will still be a great van. And Auburn Honda is the most amazing dealership too! Well worth the drive.
EXCITED
This is my first minivan but I have had several luxury cars. I absolutly love this van. It drives smooth and I feel like I am gliding on the road. The features inside the car are all within reach without taking your eyes off the road.
Sooooo Cool
Went to the Honda Dealership to test drive a Pilot and although a very nice vehicle, my wife and I saw the Odyssey and we immediately fell in love with it. The interior and the overall look of this van is awesome. A much more practical and roomy vehicle than the Pilot. My wife particularly likes the DVD and the leather interior. Handles like a car. Have owned Fords all of my life but when my 2000 Windstar started giving me problems with 37000 miles on it we decided to go with a Honda because of it's reputation for reliability and resale value. Will not own another Ford! Considered the Sienna but it was $5000 more. Excellent vehicle. Great Value!
BEST MINI-VAN YET FOR ME
I HAVE OWNED TWO FORD MINI-VANS (WINDSTARS) AND A DODGE GRAND CARAVAN AND THE HONDA IS BY FAR THE BEST VAN I HAVE EVER OWNED OR DRIVEN. IT HANDLES LIKE A CAR AND THE MILEAGE AND POWER IS FANTASTIC. I AM A SALES MANAGER AND DRIVE IT A LOT ON THE OPEN HIGHWAY, IT A DREAM FOR LONG DISTANCE DRIVING. SO FAR NOT A THING WRONG WITH THIS VEHICLE AS DELIVERED. THE ONLY NEGATIVES I SEE ARE THE LACK OF LIGHTED CONTROLS FOR THE WINDOWS AND THE CRUISE CONTOL.I FUMBLE WITH THEM AT NIGHT. THE DETENT FOR THE DRIVE POSITION IS IFFY. I HAVE FOUND MYSELF DRIVING IN D3 SEVERAL TIMES BUT BECAUSE THE ENGINE IS SO QUITE I DO NOT NOTICE IT UNLESS I LOOK AT THE TACH.
No better van....
All my life I promised myself I would never be caught in a mini van, let alone buying one new off the lot. But once I got in, saw the ease of getting our 3 boys in and out of the van, the styling and power, I was sold.
I love mine!
The cup holders are awesome - they're everywhere. I know this sounds trivial but it is the feature that I like best. So many people have told me what an awesome van I have. I love the remote opening side doors - a feature that I thought I wouldn't use. It rides like a dream.
A bad experience
Couplr of instances changed my thought about buying aHonda again, a advice I passed on to my friends who went on to buy toyota. Service was poor during my visit to replace the rear windshield that shattered on a cold Feb morning. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The van has only 4k with two 1-2k trips, but it has lot of rattling and sounds. The dealer took care of the glass in four days but left lot of scratches on the out side of the rear glass and on the inside . They also removed the net in the trunk and never called me to get it back. Overall, my experience is not great for the price I paid and would be reluctant to buy honda van.
Love those Hondas!
The Honda Van was an excellent purchase. Features we really like include 2 adapters, bucket seats in the middle, adjustable drivers seat, 2 sliding doors, and many more. Irecomment it to everyone I know!
my odyssey
nice vehicle. i like the way it handles and stays together.
I love my Honda
I have owned various Hondas in the past 10 years and it is the only car I will purchase. You defenitly get your monies worth.
We love the Odyssey!
This is our second Honda Odyssey. We LOVE this van! It is so roomy inside and drives like a car! This time we got the entertainment package and LOVE the fact that the kids can listen to a DVD and we can still listen to a CD or the radio! We took our first Honda Odyssey across country last summer and it was the perfect van to travel in! I can't imagine buying a different van for our family of six.
great reliability
Like the handling of the vehicle, handles like the accord. Lots of blind spots though. Reliability is AWESOME!!!!! The interior could be a little more luxurious, but it is easy to clean and easy to use.
the best
there is nothing i dont like about this van it is great
best family car
very excelent, roomy and very fun to drive...safe. (best family car in the world)
THE BEST MINIVAN EVER
My husband and I owned a 2002 Toyota Camry and we loved the car. When we first got it we only had 2 kids and it was comfortable. We now have 3 and the youngest is only 8 months old. Oh oh time for a bigger vehicle. We loved our car but we have to move on. When it came to deciding on what type of vehicle the Honda Odyssey was our choice. We couldn't of chosen better it is a great vehicle. I miss my camry but this is a great mini van and the kids love the fact that it is very comfortable and so do we.
Best Value
Tops in safety, comfort, and resell value. Can't go wrong with this vehicle.
The Best Vehicle You Will Ever Own!!!
The Town&Country was lower priced with special promos like 0% financing and entertainment system free. The T&C typically began needing repairs the first year whereas the Honda did not. Then, true cost to own each vehicle. The T&C depreciated $10,000 in the first year alone while the Odyssey depreciated $3,600.The trade in value was much higher on the Honda. It drives wonderfully.A week after I bought it we went to Mountains and performance was outstanding.Gas mileage-approximately 21 miles to the gallon.Very comfortable, with recessed area in the back that allows more room for bags and other travel needs. You'll be glad that you invested in this vehicle!
Fun Car, drives just like an Accord
We've own our Honda Odyssey for 2 weeks now. Nothing but pure driving fun, drives just like our old Honda Accord. Can't tell the difference between driving a Minivan and a sedan. V6 Acceleration is strong, handling is great, and the interior is very roomy. We have twin daughters and putting them into their seats could'nt be more simpler. Third row, when not in use, hides underneath the floorboard, gives us added room for groceries and other things. Leather interior is soft and easy to clean- up. Driver's seat is comfortable, easy to adjust. Overall driver visibility is great, with use of a broadway rear-view mirror adds more of a better view.
I've been convinced by using it
Previously drove Lincoln Town Car. This van handles transport of a 3-wheel scooter for handicapped much easier without taking scooter apart to load it. Has better road mileage, ride, and performance than the Lincoln. Am sold on this vehicle for my use, and recommend it for others to try.
Excellent, But...
Great product. Superb fit/finish, quiet and powerful. But had to get wind noise from windshield fixed first day off lot, rear power window doesn't work, and fuel gauge must be inaccurate- -supposedly a 20-gallon tank, but reads empty and fuel light comes on when I really have 6.5 gallons left! A little disappointed in Honda quality control this time around, but still we're happy with the van and it still has the best powertrain and handling of any of them!
Second Time Odyssey Buyer
My husband, 20 month old triplets and myself (4 mos. pregnant) were hit head on going 40 mph each by a drunk driver in our 2001 Odyssey. We all walked away. The van was totalled by my family, my world was in tact. We bought our new Odyssey within a week. Had we been in any other minivan, I don't know that we would all be alive today. Nothing is more important than safety and the Honda Odyssey proved its worth to me and my family.
AWESOME VEHICLE
My brother own one and I never drove it. When I got mine, I was so impressed that I will not buy any other van than the Odyssey. The drive is so smooth that sometimes I have trouble hearing whether the engine is on or not. The safety features are awesome.
great van
we just had a baby, it'd recommend this vehicle.
Odyssey 2004 EX
Leased the vehicle from local dealer. Excellent performance, reliability, build quality. Wished I had waited 6 mos. for the new improved redesign.
From a Suburban driver to a van lover!
With three kids under the age of five, my suburban wasn't cutting it. I was having to climb in and out of the thing to get my kids strapped in and it felt big and overwhelming to drive it around. I swore I'd never own a van, but after a test drive and Odyssey 101, I fell in love. It's easy, dependable and safe. My kids can climb inside and right into their seats with no problems. The DVD player has been a life savor during times when the kids need to settle down or be patient (long lines at the bank, traffic, and lengthy trips). I'm an SUV lover... but I totally adore my van. This was the best purchase we've made this year by far!
Love my Odyssey
Great car...great handling..drives smooth kids love the vehicle..easy to get in and out.great during bad weather
Still the best
When I went looking for a minivan, I wanted the best. That meant either a Sienna or an Odyssey. (Although the Nissan Quest briefly entered the field. The styling was a little too out there for me.) While the Sienna has made great strides, it still falls short on a couple of things. Performance is the main thing. Driving it was a bit sluggish and it felt like, well, a minivan. Driving the Odyssey is never a disappointment. I also have a problem with that center console shift placement (which the Quest also has.) Odyssey also has a major advantage on price, as the base Sienna is *very* base and options add up *very* quickly.
Honda Odyssey
This is among the most reliable of minivans on the market. Unlike the American models, you won't have to worry about engine trouble on a long family car trip. Although minivans don't get great gas mileage in general, the Honda Odyssey is better than most. The most impressive thing about this vehicle is the cargo space. This van has more room inside than comparable vehicles we looked at. This vehicle also has lots of nice safety features that make it a good family car.
Our Odyssey
Great looking van. SPorty and super great options
transmission fails
multiple transmission problems and poor customer service/support
great van
this vehichle is great. love driving it and is always dependable
I enjoy this vehicle
:), I am so happy with my honda odessey!
Mommy's ride
My wife loves her Honda because it doesn't drive like a truck. Great turning radius, good visibility and the get-up and go to merge into traffic. The boys love it too because they have their own row of seats. On family trips the DVD player is a great feature and helps pass the time - if only I could watch it!
I love my Odyseey
I love my Odyssey!
Performance Guy turned into a Grizwald
We chose Honda based on three main variables: 1Roominess 2Reliabil.3Value I felt Honda gave us plenty of room(if not too much)The fold down seat allows for alot of storage. The reliab. of Honda products in our house has always been great. The Value was a big key to our purchase. We did not see the 'incentives' given by the other manufac. to be real.A $32000 Dodge with incent. of $3500 still lacked many of the feat./perfor.we got in Honda. We found pricing the packages to be confusing and misleading. We like the fact that you had basically 3 packages to choose from and that was it.
SO FAR SO GOOD
JUST GOT IT .....LOVIN IT
My Honda
NOT HAPPY WITH PAINT JOB!
Dream van
This van is everything that a Honda advertises. 240 Hp is more than adequate, very comfortable, all around excellence
Pleased with our decision
We are pleased on our decision. We waited several years and this year was the year to make our move.
My Odyssey
The vehicle handles superbly. Excellent ease of use and reliability. Provides great comfort for all trips.
Great van, minor improvements needed
This is our 3rd Honda and we shopped around a long time before deciding. I love the power sliding doors. The make it so easy when carrying two kids to get the doors open and get them in. There are additional features that I would have liked (that were not offered at all) such as a sunroof, outside temperature gauge, power rear lift door, and power passenger side seat. Overall though, I would buy Honda again and again.
We love our Odyssey
We love our Odyssey. With two kids and grandparents who love to come with us when we go places, it makes more convenient for everyone to just take one car. I usually have the third row seat folded down for the extra room for the double stroller, kids toys or what ever else we need to haul. Then when we need the extra seating room, we just pop up the seat, no problem.
Best D*mn Minivan
Simply the best version of the most practical car on the road.
