Best vehicle I've ever owned!
Don't bother looking at anything else. I've owned a number of cars throughout my life and this unconditionally is the best vehicle I have ever owned. There's nothing like getting into a vehicle, especially the back seat, and you don't have to have anybody make adjustments up front. This is huge especially to someone who is 6 foot 2 inches tall. Cargo capacity, don't even think about it. Plenty of room. I am getting consistently 30 miles per gallon City Highway combined . But, don't take my word for it check one out of your Honda dealership.

Best CRV EVER!!!
I owned previously a 2014 EX CRV and recently made the best purchase ever of a 2017 EXL-w Navigation CRV and the difference was 180 degrees. Comfort, Reliability, much more quiet in interior, trunk way better, finally powered trunk! very comfortable leather seats and in the coldest weather we,ve ever had in Houston the heated seats worked excellent! 10000% happier and very happy with my new CRV.

oil dilution and now....new injectors!
Bought this car brand new. It's a great size and rides well. It is the glitchiest car I've ever encountered. It started having oil dilution issues at 60K miles. Warning lights have gone on and off intermittently for years, and they could never find the problem. The car just turned 100K, and now, surprise, almost $2,000 work of fuel injector work done, NOT covered by warranty! I've driven Honda's for almost 20 years. I have routinely put 200-300K miles on them, that's why we pay a premium price for them. Avoid this 1.5 turbo engine like the plague, unless you only put 5K miles a year on a car, then you don't have to worry about it failing early.

I've only had it since July 7th, but love driving it. Still learning about the bells and whistles. Bought the Touring in order to get LED headlights and they are wonderful. Also wanted the leather seats.

Great luxury vehicle, without being a luxury vehic
This is a great driving experience, the materials inside, and out, makes this car feel much more expensive! The ride is terrific, and handling is amazing! I wish it was an awd, and had a panoramic sunroof, but other than that, well worth the money, specially with the amazing resell value!

Great car, horrible Apple CarPlay
Love the car. Hate it’s poor connection with Apple CarPlay. It’s a Honda issue, because I rented a Chevrolet SUV and the Apple CarPlay was flawless in it. Honda says they are aware of it, but have no solution. If the CarPlay worked, it would be a perfect car.

Honda CR-V review 2017
It’s a good car. They redesigned it for 2017 so it should pretty much be the same design for a couple of years. It feels bigger but it can actually fit in a compact parking spot. Lots of room inside and very convenient.

Best overall SUV package plus pricing.
Got the 1.5T mid spec CRV. Generally the interior design of this CRV wins hands down as compared to CX5 (small, very plain basic / very boring interior), Nissan Xtrail (interior just okay), Subaru Forester (interior just okay). NVH of this car is okay. Just need to replace the factory fitted Toyo R45 tires. These tires are the worse tires in the market and i do not understand why Honda have them as their prefered tires for CRV. I believe this is why there are tones of complains in NVH ride quality when the main culprit was actually the tires that came with it. Interior space is plenty and big. I am 6 ft tall and i always pushed the driver seat to the rear maxed out. When i do that, anyone who sits behind me will suffer in their leg room. For this CRV, the person behind me still able to sit very comfortably with their legs straight and barely touching the front seat! That is how big and spacious this car is! The CVT on these cars are great. One of the best ones with stepped gearing. I generally hate CVT a lot but on this CRV, its very nice. No rubber band feeling, no whining, no screaming engine stuck at high rpm while spirited driving and etc. The 1.5T is powerful and torquey and able to bring this size of SUV fast enough. Overtaking is a breeze / easy. There's practically nothing to complain about this car. I do not have oil dilution problems as i am in a all year round hot humid country. Apparently this oil dilution issues happens in countries with cold climate. Good job Honda.

Disappointment
2017 Honda CR V Touring. 15000 miles, 41 months old, and have gone through three batteries due to electrical issues. At 14 880 A/C would only blow cold air through right side vents.. Dealer service department found discharge leaking. $1181.31 to repair. Obviously Honda vaulter quality is overstated and this car has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

AC problems galore
2017 Honda CRV. When it hit around 45k miles, started having high pitch sounds coming from the hood and then the ac just started blowing not cool air. Took to the dealership and they said the discharge hose was leaking oil and also the front of AC compressor seal was bad and leaking out front of compressor. Had to have my compressor replaced for 2100$ out of pocket. Then 5 months later, a new blowing sound comes and go that will stop immediately when the AC gets turned off. Took back to the dealership and they said that the fan motor needs to be replaced. Took my car to an independent mechanic who said the sound was coming from the thermal expansion valve or evaporator. Took the car again to the dealership and they're taking a look at it again. I'm done with this car. Should I just sell it once it gets repaired?
Great SUV for everyday driver
Ride is comfortable. Gas mileage is fantastic for an SUV. Technology is well thought out and APPLE CARPLAY/ANDROID AUTO is phenomenal.

Love my CPO CRV
I have heard of the negative reviews about gas/oil mixing. I bought my 2017 CRV CPO about 2 years ago (in 2019) and I have had ZERO issues. I wonder if buying CPO included them doing any and all necessary software updates and fixes on technical bulletins. I'm thinking so. I have had nothing except pure amazement and a care-free attitude with this cars reliability. It drives wonderfully smooth - I always put new tires of my choice on cars I own and I put Vogue tires on my AWD car. It's silent, it's comfortable, it drives like a solid piece of metal on the road, the AWD sticks and corners like a professional ice skater. I haven't had any of the heating problems either. Granted, I live in central Texas where it's not super cold often, but last year when I lost water and power for 6 days due to snow and ice, I was able to drive my AWD comfortably to my friends house 4 miles away and take a shower when I had no water. I find absolutely zero faults in this car - I truly wonder if buying CPO means that all the know TSBs were addressed? I would buy this car 100 times over.

Ouch!!! Out almost 1500.00.
3 years ago I purchased a new Honda cR-v. My husband had died so I needed a vehicle that was dependable so someone suggested a Honda. It is out of warranty now so guess what?? Fuel injectors just went bad. I've complained to Honda that everyone I've talked to says thats ridiculous for that to happen so soon. They just say its past the warranty. Very disappointing! In all my years of owning Fords I've never had any problems. What was I thinking!!!!??? This is alot of money for a retired person.
Perfect blend of economy and transportation
Great handling, storage, gas savings !

Access to instruments within arm's length. Using steering wheel controls for the radio, cruise control are easy and understandable. A/C and radio tuning knobs are within reach without having to lean over or look for them. Everything is designed to hold my attention to driving. Comfortable seating.

A Lot of Bang for the Buck
The 2017 CRV feels much bigger than my 2007, which is mostly due to the humps on the hood. Rear seats are much more comfortable than my 2007. Has many features that even Lexus, Audi & Acura do not have yet.

This SUV has it all at a very affordable price
Can't believe I'm averaging 28 mpg in mixed driving. My friend with a RAV4 can't believe how much more technology advanced the CRV is, and how much more comfortable than their RAV4. After 4500 miles not a squeak or rattle anywhere. Zero issues, and still averaging 28mpg. I did have to replace the original tires way too early, completely bald on rear axle even with rotation at 25k miles. Not Honda’s fault.

Always wanted a Honda
I traded in a work vehicle that was also a personal use vehicle. I only traded because I gave in to the pressure of the cute salesman that helped me. I bought a 2017 touring with 90,000 miles thinking it’s a great car and I’ll be able to drive it endlessly with how I treat my cars. Bought it and found out the issues (not as many as my previous car) but worrying. I feel a little more at ease because it is preventable by getting more oil changes which I try to keep on top of because I’m an avid worrier. I do however have likes and dislikes. Likes: the drive feels like a brand new car, adaptive cruise control, cargo space, CVT transmission, turbo, Apple CarPlay/android auto, memory/power seat, push button and all LED lights on the exterior (except reverse but I changed it). Dislikes: Oil dilution worry, speaker/sound system, power lift gate strut sounds like it’s dying (will get it changed), 18 inch rims road noise (good tires might fix it), Honda sensing features during road work is horrible and the touchscreen look where you can tell it’s been touched in certain spots sooo many times UPDATE: Always wanted a Honda and finally got one used. Did not know until after I bought it (July 2022) of the issues (should have done more research before I bought it) because it was the redesign for the 2017 year. I will say right now it’s pretty good with a few things I would like to change out for new parts. Its ride is ok for 100,000 miles. The gas mileage is good and definitely doesn’t break the bank. I have come to find that I don’t care for the “premium” features in the touring model (the same options also come in the EX-L as well) like the leather seats, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, the blind spot monitor (something is amiss on the drivers side which is why I’m not keen on it), the LED headlights/taillights being one unit itself (would have to replace the whole unit if something like a turn signal or individual LED goes out and the power lift gate (because I need to replace the power strut as it’s groaning and on its way out). The rear of the car sags which a lot of other Honda owners either say “it’s normal” or “I don’t have that problem” and it eats up the inside of the tires. I have started replacing bushings and will replace the suspension soon. UPDATE: Do I regret it? No I don’t but I wish they were still reliable like they used to be. I never researched my 2017 CRV touring because I didn’t think there was anything to go wrong. I was wrong.., oil dilution, safety feature issues, rear end sag/squat and steering issues sometimes. I don’t know if I’ll stay with Honda unless they can change my mind with a newer model which hopefully they’ve ironed out the quirks.

2017 Honda CRV LOVES TIRES
Bought new and top of line Goodyear's had to be replaced. Now with only 24 000 miles on my Yokohama 76,000 mile warranty they have CUPPED. They have been rotate every 5 000 miles. It's got to be the way Honda's are set up. Know two others with same problems.
WORST Honda EVER
I bought this car used from a Honda dealer. Gorgeous looking car. Since I paid 23k for it, you would think it would last me 6 months. Nope! I have already sunk in for new battery, head gasket replacement and now leaking coolant. WORST car ever and Honda should be ashamed for not pulling the lemons off the market and buying back these horrible vehicles.

1.5L turbo oil dilution
Vehicle has good space for small SUV but worrying about oil dilution by gasoline is hard to live with. Oil changes should be done early, day every 1K miles. Knee knocks against door due to lack of width for driver. Center display is way too slow for 2017 vehicle.
