I travel for work and this baby has taken me without problem to the east and west coast reliable 4 times. One time I pulled a small haul trailer without problem. It does not have a high tow rating but pulled it with ease.

I love my CRV. But WHY do car manufacturers make them all BLACK???Such an ugly color. Always dirty. Hard to find amongst all the other ugly black cars in any given parking lot. Hard to see on highways at night. I’ve had go out and buy bumper and window stickers to help me find it in the grocery store parking lot. There are many other colors in the rainbow. Many NICE colors not black (or it’s opposite: boring, dirty white). Manufacturers have zero imagination. That being said…The lane correction, backup camera and blind spot protection help in today’s traffic and high speed highway driving. The AC is good, seats adjust well, back seats fold for cargo. Plus the push button rear hatch lift is a nice feature. AWD is a blessing in winter.

Purchased this car under the impression I could add a bike rack. I specifically told the sales person I wanted this car for this reason. Drove it off the lot, brought it back for a sticker and to install the hitch. Found out to everyone at the dealership's surprise that the hybrid can't get a hitch installed because of American Honda Motors liability (they said it is available on the European model). They told me to go to UHaul to have it done because Uhaul will do it. Read online it might void the warrant, called Honda to confirm and they couldn't give me a straight answer either way. Not going to risk the warranty issue, so I'm done with Honda. Car is comfortable and I like the interior, but it doesn't get good gas mileage for a hybrid and can't do the active outdoorsy things that all over cars in this category can do. It's just a bigger sedan at this point. Trading it in for a RAV or Forester as soon as I can.
