2024 Honda Civic Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Pricing
A good economical car that has a sporty design.
I leased my 2024 Honda Civic hatchback a few months ago and I’d like to share my opinion. This car is fuel efficient, safe, reliable, and affordable yet it looks great. I have the Boost Blue color which is one of the less common colors of the civic and people point and turn heads. The interior is good but my main gripe is the sound system is underwhelming considering the sport model has the mid level system. The HR-V sport is the same price but gives you heated seats, BSM, and USB-C which seems “unfair” but I chose the civic because I’m not a crossover fan. The headroom is fantastic but the seat back can be uncomfortable at times with no adjustment for lumbar. One of my favorite features is the auto high beams which work great. Materials are decent but last generation civic has soft touch upper door panels on every trim where this one has that reserved for top trims (new generation is more expensive too). The car rides good for how large the rims are. Road noise is loud on old rough roads but bearable. This car is all around a good car that looks great and won’t break the bank. Other competition offers more for the money but civic has the best refinement in class.

It's a car
For the money there are MUCH better hatchback cars. Where to begin.... I should have done much more research on this car. The trunk has to be opened from the outside, there is no lever inside the car to open the trunk or the gas lid. The gas lid is a push to open. If it gets stuck there is a cord to pull INSIDE of the trunk. The back seat has no pull down middle armrest, no armrest at all, no cup holders, no pockets on the backseat. The tire pressure monitor system is so basic that it does not even display the tire pressure for each tire. The Bluetooth phone system is trash. No one can ever hear or understand me on calls, so I inevitably have to disconnect and hold the phone with my hand to talk. This defeats the convenience of hands free phone. Honda has asked that I drop the car off for a few days to check on it. Unfortunately, I can't be without my newly purchased car for a few days because I NEED a car, that's why I bought one. I didn't realize how low to the ground the car is, but that's actually minor. The road noise is very bad. Passengers in the back seat cannot hear each other speak if you are going over 40 mph. There is only ONE speed for the intermittent wipers. I had all of these features and more in my 2013, that's right, 2013! Nissan Altima and none of them are included in the 2024 Civic. I did not have the Bluetooth or road noise issue in my old car. I got an overprice basic car. The only good thing is that it is a Honda and dependable. I could have spent less on a basic Sedan.

Would be hard to make it better.
Just bought a 2024 lx hatchback. I love this car! I could not imagine how well this car was made. It handles like a dream, and is rather sporty. It sips fuel and provides endless fun while hitting the back roads. If you want to buy a car that is fun to drive, safe and reliable look no further.
