Tough on the Butt
Very pretty car, lots of bells and whistles. However, after driving for a few hours my back and Coccyx bone were hurting so badly that I had trouble walking after. This has happened more than once. I've never had that problem before. I guess I'll have to shop for a seat cover with a lumbar support and bottom pad. Otherwise - it's a nice car.

The hatchback with style
This vehicle is a top notch little speed demon. Going from 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds , you honestly can't go wrong. The drive is very smoothe. The car is very attractive to look at. The trunk is super spacious and you can fit many things back there. The space in the front is a bit smaller than the sedan but, it is a compact car and should be expected. Touch screen features , Push to start and voice control ? Honda hatchback , I love you !

Convenient for light travel!
The car is good for an economic buy Honda is meant to last when you care for it so I’m really excited to use it. The rims are steel so it seems durable and better than plastic. The color looks great and even shines!
Civic Sport
Reliable car w/ good handling road manners and good gas mileage .
Fun to Drive and Economical
Just bought a new 2021 Honda Civic EXL sedan. The 1.5 turbo is peppy. The ride is firm but handles the bumps in the road well. The steering is as close to perfect as you can get. I really like the way it drives and handles. We live in the hills where there is a mix of curves and straight roads. So far I'm averaging between 38-39 mpg. The driver seat fits my 5'8" frame well and is comfortable. The Android auto is a bit quirky but I'm not used to it yet. Google maps and XM radio thru the APP functions like its suppose to. I was reading about fuel delusion problems with the 1.5 T engines, but so far I see no problems with mine. I wasn't sure I'd like the CVT, not saying that its great but nothing to deduct from the overall driving experience. Sport mode is quite a joy to use, peps things up a lot. With the excellent resell value of the Civics I plan to trade every 2-3 years to the new model as long as trends don't change. I might even try a manual transmission (if I can find one). You can't go wrong with a Civic.

Great Value
Since the Civic has been redesigned for 2022 as an all-new model, I was able to get a discounted price on a 2021 Civic. I am very happy with my decision! This car is a great value. I am a big fan of the exterior styling, gas mileage, interior storage, and sporty driving dynamics. Also, this car has many standard features that one would have to pay extra for in more expensive vehicles. I look forward to keeping this car for years to come.

Honda quality sadly has seemed to have went down.
I used to really like Hondas. I had a 1993 Honda Civic and 2005 Honda Accord, and had liked both cars. So when I saw this new generation Civic, I liked the interior space, exterior styling, and especially loved the 1.5 turbo engine's power while excellent fuel economy. But then when I got the car, I realized the lower build quality compared to the older Hondas I have been around in. There are rattles everywhere, and the amount of rattles on such a new car is unacceptable. The paint on these cars are trash, and chip very easily. The turbo 1.5 engine also has an issue with gasoline and oil mixing with each other, which is especially surprising considering Honda is known aside from Toyota to have the most reliable engines. The front seats are also absolute trash and are very uncomfortable on long trips. I truly hope Honda improves their build quality in the upcoming 2022 Civic, because this car has really disappointed me. If not, I have no choice but to but a car from another manufacturer in the future.

A good value overall but not perfect
Overall this is a good value for the price and one of the more interesting options in the segment now that I've had a few years to get over the controversial body styling. Of course I don't have concerns about reliability, holding market value, etc. There are plenty of modern features available and the car is fairly fun to drive for a commuter, though it doesn't compare to, say, a true hot hatch such as the GTI which honestly doesn't cost much more. It's also just a pleasant space to be in on a daily basis - spacious, ergonomically designed, good visibility, nice interior and materials for the price, etc. The main downsides for me so far are: 1) Having a CVT in a hot hatch / sport hatch really takes away from the driver experience. This little turbocharged engine has a lot of potential for fun to be had (probably fully realized with the 6MT), but most of that potential boost and turbo noise is lost on the CVT which conceals it behind a veil of continuously varying gear ratios and deflates any hopes of cool engine noises during a spirited drive. For example, you take off and the tachometer will just hover at, say, 3000 RPMs while the gears adjust so that you continue accelerating. And yes there are simulated gears with the paddle shifters, but I haven't found this to be an improvement on the automatic shifting function. It makes me wonder what their strategy was, who the target customers are. With the reputation of the Civic and the highly competitive nature of the hot hatch segment, I would have expected Honda to take their offering more seriously, but they were probably seeking a balance between standardizing their transmissions and catering to entry-level enthusiasts who might not be ready for the more pure experience of the GTI, Veloster N, etc. but still have $25,000+ to shell out. I suppose most enthusiasts would gravitate to the manual transmission, thus solving this problem, or pay extra for an Si or Type R. So without either of those two badges, one should expect the Civic Sport to just be a slightly more fun version of the generic Civic, and to be honest, that's mainly why I chose it. It's probably the best balance of a practical but engaging ride in the price range, even if it doesn't live up to its aggressive styling in terms of experience. 2) Even more disappointing to me is the surprisingly rough suspension in the 10th gen Civic. I test drove several trim levels (LX Sedan, Sport Hatch, and EX Hatch) on average roads, each with different wheel sizes but all with the same suspension parts to my understanding. The smaller wheel sizes absorbed a little more of the road vibration, but overall I was surprised by how rough the ride was with all three, even the LX with 16-inch wheels. This is exactly what I was trying to get away from with my previous car as I drive 60 miles per day. The new Civic is almost as bad as my previous car in terms of ride comfort while not nearly as fun! Perhaps I should've explored more of the competition. In any case, I landed with this, and the only thing that makes it bearable is using a seat cushion or bringing a friend to help weigh down the shocks/springs. Despite these two complaints I'm happy with the Civic and I think it's a good choice. As long as I have a steady supply of seat cushions, I think I'll enjoy it for several years and hand it off in good condition to some thrill-seeking youngster.

2021 Honda Civic EX
I’ve purchased the 2021 Civic in March of 2021. This vehicle has exceeded my expectations, great ride , comfortable and great gas mileage, averaging 39 to 40 mpg, since I drive mostly highway miles . I have the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine and it’s great to drive!

So good I bought it twice
I bought my first Honda Civic Sport 4D sedan back in 2019. Unfortunately I was involved in an accident that left my poor car totaled. Second time around I opted for the same car (just newer) now that I know how reliable it really is. I love the Civic 💜

Fun little gas sipper
Responds well. Quick on turns. The turbo isn’t big, just the right size to give you that punch you need. Great on gas. We are actually getting 41 mpg highway. Apple CarPlay is awesome. Voice to text and being able to have Siri read your incoming messages is crazy helpful. Sound system is good. I’ll add an amp to improve it though. We got the EX. (Best gas option, plus the turbo) really comfortable seats. The car is my wife’s. She could have had any car she wanted. Test drove a Lexus and an all electric. In the end she chose this one. A civic was her first car as a teachers Aid. And she chose it again now that she has her Doctorate and is a high school Principal. She’s very happy with her Civic. As she put it, “My civic never let me down and was always fun. Gonna stick with what got me here.”

Blown Engine
14 months and 6000 miles. No prior warning, no warning lights until incident, car ran as usual. 2 days ago it shut down at a stop light restarted, error messages related to ACC, Crash Mitigation, Lane Keep Assist and check oil level. Drove 1/2 mile engine became loud and shut down. Dealership says the engine is unrepairable and needs replaced.

Small engine is powerful and acceleration is good enough for city driving. CarPlay is user friendly. It is good choice for new graduates.
First time getting a Honda Civic
I don't know so much about it and I did not do my research all I know about it it's a good car for my twin brother and what the dealership said they did say there was no recalls on this model but again I'm not sure in 3 years before the meantime when I had it for about a day it seems okay so far there's no complaints but I'll just have to find out in 6 months. And just keep hearing it's never a good idea to buy it a brand new model until a 6-month has passed before the meantime just wish me up for now

Honda Civic Sport Platinum White
The Japanese Sport car is a great automobile with pwr. wind.s, door mirrors, new more better options touch screen, efficient fuel and energy consumption. The 2021 is better than the Honda Civic Sport 2017. Handling is excellent and offers power that is good enough on uphill driving.
Very Uncomfortable Seats
The car is decent but the seats are very uncomfortable. Make sure to test drive it for 30+ minutes before buying it. Driving it for 30mins straight gives you a lower back and tail bone pain. Apparently this is a known issue amongst most civics and Honda knows about it. They just don't want to redesign their car seats. No matter how good a car is, if the seats are uncomfortable it's a deal breaker. Few more drawbacks, 1- there aren't any air-conditioning vents for the rear seats. 2- the lcd screen is placed quite low, makes you take your eyes off the road quite often. 3- No fuelling port cap (its capless), doesn't let you tilt the fuelling hose at the gas station. 4- No spoilers at at back. 5- car interior height is less. 6- lane assist isn't trustworthy.
Fun to drive, love the cargo room
This car is very nice looking and is very fun to drive and good on gas. However the material chosen for the interior is horrible. Instead of using the same material that is on the dashboard and doors they added sections of a poor quality material that attracts constant dirt. I am not a dirty person and even wiping it off with a damp cloth it is back to looking dirty and spotted within a day or two. I don't know whose genius idea this was to use this fabric. My friends had looked at it and said it's probably going to wear down quickly also. Very very dissatisfied with this aspect of the car
Worth the money
My second Honda vehicle and I almost couldn't be happier lol. The only complaints I have are minor which is why it gets 4 stars. Climate control seems to be a little anemic and I typically have to take it off of auto and set the fan higher or the temperature very low/high. Android auto keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from my phone during my drive (although it could be an issue with my specific vehicle and may take it to the dealer for work) and sometimes refuses to connect altogether. You don't get LED high or low beams unless you go with the most expensive sport touring model. Running and fog lights are LEDs, so why not all of them? Might add them myself. Since the EX is more expensive than the sport it would be nice to also have a basic sport mode, although I'm not taking any points off for it, since I obviously didn't buy a sport model. Center console also seems pretty small with all the sliding parts, and glovebox does not have a lock. Overall it's a very comfortable economic car with excellent mileage, good speakers, intuitive infotainment, and great storage space. Would make the same choice again, and all the cons are nowhere near deal breakers.

Spacious
What I like about the hatchback is that I could fold down the back seats and I could fit a mattress and a adult size bicycle in the back. No need of a truck or extra stuff to carry my bike. I definitely prefer the 2021 and older model because of the touchscreen. I am not a fan of the 2022 and 2023 screen being higher and looking like a tablet was placed. In 2019 I got a new Honda civic hatchback but I got in a bad car accident last month and lost it. I had the chance to get a 2023 car but I still prefer the screen of the 2019-2021 car

Love my hatch
I traded my well-loved already excellent 2015 Civic LX Sedan for a 21 Civic EX Hatch and it has been perfect for me from the first test drive to six months later. I was mulling around in my head whether I wanted to go with a Kia Seltos or an HRV, but ever since Honda started making Civic Hatchbacks it eventually felt like a no-brainer as a single guy with no kids that this was the way to go. The utility of the hatch is just as practical for me as any of the crossover models out there and it simply looks cooler. It drives nimbly but also has a full-size presence on the highway. The seats are comfy. Apple CarPlay is unfortunately buggy, but that was the case with aftermarket unit I had in my last Civic. The touchscreen UI is functional enough, but not the most aesthetically pleasing design. I do like the LED gauges. Overall, I can see why this car isn’t for everyone, but if you want an affordable, well designed everyday driver this one is probably for you.

beware of add on on the 2021 civic
the handles and design is good, I bought new 2021 hatchback sport but started having electrical issue when the car would not start at random times. dealer stated it was the dealer installed aftermarket alarm. the alarm was taken out by the dealer contracted alarm company but the issue persisted. honda offered an inconvenience settle and said they would keep working on the issue. after taking them to arbritation they denied my claim and voided my new car warranty because the wiring was spliced by alarm company and honda was claiming I installed the alarm. they stated car must be oem for new car warranty to be valid and they would not fix it until I repaired it back to oem.

When I gun the Earth Dreams to merge and cover half the highway distance it does a most decent job, I then fall back with the rest of the pack to finish off my journey. The engine purrs with supreme gas as instructed in the owners manual. Love the 2021 LX style.

The 2021 Honda Civic is a beautiful car inside & out. Has alot of the bells & whistles. Very comfortable, rides smooth. Wonderful car for the price. The 1 thing that turned me off is the lack of power & get up & go.If you looking for a very nice car this may be for you, but I'm use to a car that when you hit the gas, it goes. Just not what I'm looking for otherwise a excellent car.

Love my Civic!
I love this car! Drives smoothly. Love all the features. Great on gas, great appeal.
Ehhh Honda
I like my Honda. I say "like" because I do have a few issues with it. In no particular order: (1) The car sits so low to the ground that the screws on the underplate loosened causing it to be displaced and catch on something. The plate eventually became gnarled and dragged on the ground causing sparks. When I called service department to schedule appointment to have it removed, the service tech immediately knew the issue (basically letting me know without actually saying it, that this is a common issue). So, I had the underplate removed but Honda did not replace it. Apparently, my warranty does not cover this (even though it appears this is a common issue). (2) Paint. The paint on my car is so soft, it is prone to chips, scratches, dings, spotting, etc. I have never owned a vehicle with subpar paint as this. I used to park my former car near a golf course and it was prone to golf ball dings and the paint never chipped or cracked. I am disappointed with Honda for this. (3) Because I live in AZ, automobile windshields are prone to cracks from gravel on the roads. I have had one windshield replacement so far and because of the computer mounted around the rearview mirror, when the glass was replaced, it could not be remounted properly, so it tends to fall and sit on the rearview mirror. I bought my Honda based on gas mileage and I will say that it does do well on gas (despite the smaller gas tank). I do like some of the other features I got with vehicle such as the auto start. The lane assist is nice but some times annoying.
