Plenty of style and function.
I wasn't expecting all the options and functionality from this car. I was focused on reliability and economy...... it's everything I can ask for for this vehicle class.
Sporty and fun to drive
Have owned several Hondas and been very pleased with each one, including the 2020 Civic Ex Hatchback we just purchased. It's sporty and fun to drive. Particularly like the options of driving in economy mode, for increased mpg, or sport mode where you can feel the increased torque and hear the turbo come to life while the engine gently roars! Easy entry/exit with a sporty, yet comfortable cabin. Great technology, including the brake hold, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assistance.

Tech issues from the start
Apple CarPlay does not work with their newer models. Any vehicle that is 2019 and up is reporting issues with their CarPlay. Honda currently doesn’t a have solution to these problems. They are aware of them but refuse to fix them.
If it wasn't for the slushy transmission..
The car is great, typical Honda quality stuff but Jesus Lord Honda needs to get rid of the [non-permissible content removed] CVT transmission, it is horrible, when you stomp on the gas it goes no where, the engine rpma come up but the car is a snail. I understand they did it for economy but it a horrible thats my only gripe.

It's better than a Prius
Pretty good gas milage, I get around 40mpg combined. Honda sensing, adaptive cruise control, I use it a lot. Big cargo area. No apple car play. No big scree. Camera is ok but not that great quality. Turbocharged. Visibility is not that good but it will do. Pretty good car so far no major complains.

Planet Honda is Wonderful!!
Meena and the team at Planet Honda were absolutely wonderful in working with us! We had a limited and fixed budget and they were able to get us the car we’ve been after for over two years!!! They worked with us and met us where we were and did not try to oversell us! We would recommend any friend or family member to come buy a car from here! They made the process and painless and dare I say, enjoyable!

Great car but needed it to last more then 2000km
Loved all the features but something about a car that dies in less than a year just after hitting 2000km, leaves me thinking reliability and civics don't go together any more. Also being a day since that happened it be nice if their customer service would answer or email or let me know any sort of details what so ever, but nothing.

Cheap plastic parts
My Honda Civic & my daughters Honda Civic have plastic parts that break easily. Visors and other plastic parts that are made now on these Civics are cheaply made. Reviews on line other people have complained about the same issue. Years ago the parts were better made! The manufacturer will not recall these visors unless your paying out the but for their extended warranties....otherwise the cost “per visor” w/install is $157.00 at the dealership. If you live in Fredericksburg, Va the Pohanka Honda Dealership is the worst one to have to deal with. They have service managers that are not about good customer service ...it’s all about making as much money as the can from you. By the way they are all individually owned and thirsty for as much money as they can get out of you. A mechanic broke an item on the interior my vehicle and they would not own up to it. I WOULD NOT BUY A HONDA AT ALL...BUY A TOYOTA AS THEY ARE A BETTER MADE CAR AND EXCELLENT TO DO BUSINESS WITH! I also own a Toyota Corolla & what a difference.

A perfect compact car with zippy fun!
I am writing this because my 2019 Hyundai Sonata is getting a dent , and repaint from a mysterious parking lot accident! This 2020 HONDA CIVIC was my rental car , and what a joy, and pleasure it was to drive , and really fun to go around corners, and that without missing a beat! This car grips the road, has a good ride quality, great engine, and transmission, and to me the best looking CIVIC that HONDA has ever built! I look the sharp lines , the headlights, and taillights, and the fit , finish are awesome! The rental was an lower end model with lots of plastic, but the quality was still there! The seats are very comfortable , but ride a bit too low for me , and that does making get out of the car a bit rough, compared to my 2019 HYUNDAI SONATA limited! If I knew how good this generation of CIVIC was , I would have traded my old car for this , in the higher trim level! Great car , and if you like it , but one before the 2022 comes out , and get a good deal ! Thanks, and please note I still love my 2019 SONATA , it is my poor man's. GENESIS!

Best car in its class for what it is
First Honda I've ever owned. Was shocked at the driving dynamics the second I test drove it. Also, the interior is very well thought-out/ergonomic. This car functions exactly how it should, which is a phenomenal daily driver. 10th generation Honda Civic really knocked the ball out of the park with this one! Going to be hard to beat for the price.

My little silver skittle!
I leased my 2020 Honda Civic to avoid giving up another asset during a nasty divorce. I had never driven anything remotely new. I can honestly say this car has been everything I wanted, and I am purchasing my lease this weekend. From the roomy HB (I fit a small frame woman's mountain bike in the trunk) to the handling (talk about pulling a U-turn on a DIME) to the Apple CarPlay to its turbo, I thoroughly enjoyed driving this car. I previously owned Volvos but always wanted a Honda Accord. Volvos were substantial and lasted 250k + miles but very expensive to fix and maintain. I read many reviews and compared cars before leasing and figured, why not try the Civic HB? I was impressed by the price point for what it came with and how it drove per the reviews. Oddly enough, my Volvo had been insured by my ex husband, so I couldn't even test drive it to see how it drove before signing the lease. But I knew it was the right car for me. The gas mileage is exactly as advertised ... I get 34.2 mpg but drive like a bat out of hell. It brakes excellent (I know ... I had Brembos on my Volvo V60R), has tons of room, very sporty handling. I just can't say enough about the car. I watch racing and even started cheering on the Honda teams! Very appreciative I have been able to drive such a great car. Only issue I have had is that the driver's window sticks when it's humid, but I asked the dealer to take a look before I sign purchase agreement. I can't wait to get it tinted. Definitely buy seat covers if you get the beige cloth ... especially if you adventure with it and put a kayak on top like I do! Hope my review helps you make an informed decision.

Truly a great car
I really loved this car. You really get a lot for your money in terms of tech, safety, and performance in the EX and touring trims. I still miss our EX! Pros: The turbo engine really gives this car some pep. It's held back slightly by the CVT but the tradeoff is great fuel economy. It's still a fun car to drive. The ride is comfortable as are the seats. The front seats are wonderful even for taller people (like me) and the rear seats are fairly spacious for a car in this class. I found Honda Sensing to be pretty good, personally. The adaptive cruise does its job well and the steering assist is gentle but accurate. Cons: Very low to the ground, even for a sedan, so you kind of have to climb in and out and it's easy to bottom out. I found the blind spot cam pretty cumbersome so I turned it off. Glad they gave the new gen blind spot detectors. The HVAC controls are slightly annoying but usable. Overall, this was a great car where the pros far outweigh the cons: Fun to drive, efficient, and comfortable.

Great mileage. That's about it.
This is a great commuter car. However, it's noisy inside with limited space in back and lousy in slick conditions. Great car for someone without kids on a dry day.

My New Civic
I love the level of safety and convenience features on my 2020 Honda Civic Touring Sedan, but I find some of the controls sequences are not as intuitive as the Chevy Cruse I switched from. I'm sure when I get used to it, I'll love it even more.

spectacular
So far I am well pleased with my Civic Sport. I really appreciate the safety features the car offers and the Apple care Play is great. Overall driving experience so far has been pleasant. The look and style of the care is great. My only issue is a 4-cylandar which is something I have to get used to.

2020 Honda Civic LX Sedan: NOT!
Just drive this car. know what everyone is bragging about. Yes, it's responsive & has a good turning radius. CVT is nice. However, the car is a noisy, tin can! Felt every bump, was very aware of outside noise and can't imagine how such a light weight car, would handle in the snow!

Great car horrible infotainment
This is my wife's car and she loves it. However the Apple CarPlay DOES NOT WORK! The dealership threw up their hands and Honda does nothing. She loves driving the car, it looks great and does everything well, except this one thing. It is a deal-breaker. We are going to trade the car in on something from FCA or VW because we have had no problems with the infotainment systems in our other cars from those manufacturers

Love My Civic Coupe EX
I bought this car 15 months ago and have put 32,000 miles on it. Absolutely NOTHING HAS FAILED. I love the handling and the power is fine. The gas mileage to date is 38 mpg! Only complaint is, where is the Altimeter and the COMPASS???

Dam easy on gas !
Very easy on gas. Mine is a four door Civic six speed manual transmission. Summer sometimes better than 50 miles per Imperial Gallon. Winter with idling & four snow tires average better than 42 miles per gallon. One hell of a car except for the very poor head lights !

Highest rated compact hatchback
I love my Civic EX-L. It is surprisingly comfortable to drive, and gets over 30 mpg in the city. I chose the hatchback for its generous storage space even when the back seat is up. My lease is up soon and I plan to lease another Civic.

Happy Honda
I like everything! I’m 81 so I’m not looking for a 700 hp monster. The car handles nicely and is quick enough for me. It’s well-made.
Fun car but has its faults
I bought this car brand new in 2020 and so far it has been a great all around car. I've used it to go camping with a roof bag, I've gone on construction sites, I've even been in 8 inches of snow in the stock tires and no complaints there. For the price it had a descent audio system, easy to swap out better speakers. In fact, any work on this car is really easy to do with standard tools. My complaints come in with the factory clutch and paint. The paint not only scratches easily but chips and flakes. Drove through leaves and I swear it would scratch my paint. That clutch seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it holds and sometimes it slips. So I tend to baby my car more than I would like. Other than that I have no complaints, its a good fuel efficient car. Driving features work 85% of the time. Its so loud on the highway it keeps me awake so no problems there. But maybe its the tires.
Love my 2020 Honda Civic
I just bought a 2020 Honda Civil at Holmes Honda in Shreveport, LA and I absolutely love it. It's so fun to drive. Love the with exterior color and style and it's so fun to drive. When I was 1st looked at it online wasn't sure if it was for me being 58 years young and trading in a 2008 Honda Suv but I have to say I and totally impressed. Thank you Holmes Honda and my salesman (Sébastien) for such an Awesome experience.
