Great While It Lasted
I bought a Honda Civic 6 months ago and it changed my life to be honest, it a was truly a great car! It changed my life and saved my life at the same time. I was in a car accident after 5 months of having it and everybody that showed up for the accident such as fireman’s, ambulances, police, and even had a a helicopter on the way because it was a pretty big accident... well they all said it was a miracle I came out of the car alive. Everything about the car was ruined, the car was totaled! I enjoyed the car for the short time I had it and even put some money in it so it could look nicer. I guess I loved that car and now I’m careless and it drags me down because I used to have a job but after my accident I could not get to work so I lost my job soon after. I could really use 100$ every little bit helps. I know for one thing, my next car will definitely be a Honda! They are slick, great on gas, and safe. - Yourry

Beautiful Car
I waited Five Years for the Civic to be redesigned and thought the 2013 was "it". I think the behind is the best-looking. Still - after 3 years - own the vehicle - I still have negative issue with the outward visibility. I just feel like the cars on the left & the right are going to crash into me. so, I enjoy the car - but just have to constantly be aware of how I drive - park - it's not super convenient like my old 1997 car was. So, I have a car I am ho-hum about. (?) not perfect - like my 1997 car was Perfect. so, I don't know when I am going to make a move to find another "perfect driving car". So, we're looking at, I guess 90 percent ALL good and the 10 percent a bummer for me. I wish they would make cars "SMALLER" but because people are fat and get fatter - they make cars Bigger. the 1997 Honda Civic was the absolutely PERFECT CAR - I'm telling you!!

It Can Take a Beating !
I got my 2013 Civic LX from my grandpa in September of 2018 and it only had 10,700 miles on it. Now, as of August 19, 2019, i just hit 55,000 miles and I’ve beaten the hell out of this car. I sometimes shift to neutral as I roll by slow drivers and rev at them. If people tailgate me, I move my shift to D2 to slow down and piss tailgaters off. I drive hard and fast. To this day, no issues whatsoever and it runs like its brand new, when all my other cars, which were the same year all 2013’s, would have major issues after only having them for a few months. I do my oil changes whenever the “service due soon” light comes on. But after putting 45,000 miles on a car in 11 months, I don’t think any other car would have made it this long. This little claustrophobic car is the most reliable car I’ve ever driven. Now I don’t drive this thing like a crackhead anymore but with the way I used to drive it, I’m impressed at how this thing still runs perfectly

so confused
The Honda product is generally, well, you know, hard to beat, right? I own this car now. I am so very disappointed. If they could remake the 1997 Honda Civic EX 5-speed with the Exact same materials they used back in 1997, that would make me very happy. Keep dreaming, right? I Miss the Old Cruise Control. The 2013 is OK, but the 1997 Cruise Control I liked much better. I Miss the Old Moon Roof on the 1997. This 2013 is not superior at all. The 1997 Moon Roof was superior because I could control the width and the placement of it was absolutely PERFECT. Not so on 2013 model. It's like I don't even have a moon roof, really.....
Beautiful but disappointing
The car is beautiful. Do not get 40 MPG hwy as was told by dealer. Does not handle well in snow. Good fast heater. Visors are lower quality than my 2008 same model. Also center armrest in back seat is narrower. Car hesitates when turned on. Also hesitates when accelerated from a dead stop. My 2008 just went. This car drags. 2008 more peppy and more fun to drive. Same model
Fun & Sporty Car
The ONLY drawback to this car is that it isn't available with leather seats!

Great reliability and fuel economy
The 2013 Civic is a terrific little economy car with a very low cost of operation. I average over 40 MPG overall, But my mileage is very different from the factory rating. My Civic gets about 38 MPG city and about 50 MPG highway. My only complaint about this car is the lag time when the engine starts (e.g., at a stop light) to the time the car will move forward.

Gets the job done!
Had purchased a 2012 model with a 5 speed automatic, but after 3 yrs I just missed driving a stick so much. I sold the '12 to a family member and, because I loved the car otherwise, I found my '13 manual ex coupe and 4 yrs later, I am still very happy. Honda makes the best compact car manual trannys. The clutch and precision shifter are a joy, even in traffic! I wish people would all ditch their cvts and bring back the manuals! Improvements over my '12 are the two tone wheels, automatic climate control, back up camera, and nicer interior plastics. Gripes are the tiny toy car sized battery. Sit in your parked car listening to the radio for 90 minutes and the car won't start! Also, the R18 motor has no guts. I miss the SR20DE in my old Sentra which had the best of both worlds. Lastly, the bluetooth is buggy, sometimes failing to connect. I have to pull over and turn the car completely off, then on for it to pair. These are minor complaints as no car is perfect. I recommend this car, especially with a manual!

Paint rusting or chiping
Now I don't know much about cars but I havent had many problems from my car these last 9 years of owning it but the paint job on the car is my major issue. I've noticed after my first winter the paint started chipping around the door then the summer came and the roof, front of hood, and trunk looked like it was fading. My car is black so it definitely noticeable. Then Honda asked me to bring the car in so they can do I recall on paint around the door handles. They only did 1 handle which made no sense. Definitely noticed other black civic with the same problem as mines. And couldn't no one help me with trying to reach somewhere that could help.

The si is amazing
The power band in the manual trans is amazing. The hfp package adds much needed styling to the exterior. I bought used with 240k km on it and it doesn’t burn a drop of oil. The only things I have replaced are a few wear and tear parts like steering wheel controls and the window switch. It’s easy to work on so far and is my favourite Honda I’ve ever owned. I regularly get 8L/100 in town

Great honda
Bought new in 2013. Has 99900 miles on it. Going to keep it. A great car for reliability and gas . mileage . No problems. Just changed rear breaks. Front breaks still on it. Nonsense trading it in

Better than a Chevy but maybe mine is a lemon?
I really liked this car when I first got it. I don't drive very much, it's 7 years old and only 60,000 miles on it. The starter was bad from the beginning and had to be replaced and is now not working quite as well again. It's a very loud car, rattles and makes funny noises. I've talked to a mechanic before, he said nothing is wrong, they just get loud over time. I've never had a car that was fine and be so loud. It sounds like something is wrong but isn't. I have been very good about maintainance and followed the recommendations in the car manual, it says to change the transmission fluid every so many miles, which I did, but when they changed it they said it smelled burnt and asked if I was having any trouble with the transmission. I haven't been but it may have damaged it, they recommended changing it more frequently, which makes me mad because I was trying my best to keep up on the car so it would last for a long time and now I'm wondering how much I'm going to end up spending on it. Should have bought a Toyota Corolla.
Great value car
Highly recommended

Great car
Battery replaced and it took a while for the gas mileage to return to expectations. I am now happy to report that MPG is about 42 MPG once again. I now have 75000 miles on the car because I drive much less since retireing. UPDATE: Fantastic trouble free car that is fun to drive and fun to save. After years, 80,000miles, my gas mileage remains high, more than 40 mpg.

Dear Honda Designers:
The ride is comfortable. The noise level is reduced tremendously. Rear Windows -don't like feeling like I own a Dodge Avenger. Prefer a temp gauge-not icons. Get rid of split level dash board!! Get rid of digital speed. Prefer Odometer to include *simultaneously* Total Miles Driven & Trip Miles. Poor Sun Visors-Poor quality. Poor Interior vinyl quality-cheap quality. Exterior Paint--Poor Quality. Prefer key hole on Passenger Door & Trunk. Hood construction is odd-- don't care for the leaf trap or sensors. Need a junk trap under the Hand Brake. Need more space on door panels. All of the AC Buttons/AC Unit/Design is a Hazard (to me)
Hate it!
Not worth the money
