Ok-but expensive
Ok but only getting 40 mpg/ not worth the extra money hope for a big tax credit
Don't believe the MPG
This is a fun car to drive and folks on the street are always asking about the car. However after a handful of fillups, the best we've done is 35.5 mpg on a combination of city and highway driving. Everything else about the car is great. It drive very nice and has a bigger car drive.
Pleasantly Surprised
Bought the civic without a test drive. Nervous...but was pleasantly surprised. Nice styling...drives well. Getting 44 MPG on 1st tank. With navi and other features, really lots of fun to drive. Also relieved that golf clubs fit. Kids also think "hybrid" is cool. I affectionately call it my nerd mobile.
Civic Hybrid
I have taken this car on two long mileage trips. The highest hiway mileage I received was 55.8 and the lowest on the road was 47.9. It was fun to drive, handled very nicely.
Hi Tech /Gas Saver
I am a much better driver because of the MPG gauge. By constantly trying to improve my gas mileage, I drive slower and much more economically. I have avoided several accidents because I was driving more cautiously. The navigation system is excellent! I have made several trips to new destinations, the directions given to me audibly and on the screen were perfect! The stereo sounds very good for a stock unit and the seats are very comfortable. People are always gazing at the car and asking me questions. The big question is "how is the gas mileage" and I am pleased to say that I am averaging over 47 MPG in mainly stop and go traffic.
