Bought this car in November 2009 after making a move to Arkansas. I purchased it with only 48,000 miles on it, plus I lucked out because it is fully loaded with Navi and AUX input for my iPod. Had to drive two hours to Tulsa to get it but it was well worth it; the drive home was so much fun I didnt want to get out of the car when we finally made it back! Its been to Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, and I am always the one volunteering to drive because I love it so much. The turn signals on the mirrors are an awesome touch. Has been in the shop twice but only for recall fixes. Would absolutely buy again

After test-driving a Civic Hybrid my wife threatened to divorce me if I bought one--until she test drove it herself. We own this and an '06 Ridgeline. Love Hondas and as always the quality is superb. Mileage isn't quite as good (43-47 mpg average) with my lead foot but I actually prefer the acceleration and power of the hybrid to a regular EX. CVT trans is great and never loses power like a standard automatic at shift points, even at speed (I can pass at 70+mph w/o problems). No loss of space in the trunk or interior from batteries. Navi system is definitely worth the extra $$$ especially if you are directionally challenged. Be ready for lots of stares and questions from people!!

Fantastic, fun car to drive--have owned suv's for years, gas was driving me to the poor house on these vehicles, not on my honda hybrid, averaging 49 mpg, yeah!

I recently purchased my 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid w/ Navigation and it had 79,000 miles on it. I was a bit worried because the hybrid battery expired at 80,000 miles and as we know, they're quite expensive. So far, so good though. At 85,000 miles and going strong. I love the design of the car and feel it's perfect for a young person. I have been getting 36 mpg in town, but it's been under 30 degrees in Iowa and mpg's have improved with temp increase. Love having the 12.3 gallon gas tank, fueling is a breeze. I think Priuses are ugly and love the way my hybrid looks. Everyone else seems to, too. CVT transmission took awhile to get used to - no shifting. But overall, don't hesitate! Buy today.

I drive about 160 miles/day - 5 days/week. I went from 18 mpg in my SUV to low/mid 40 mpg. Not the 50 mpg, but I do drive about 75% on the highway, where I am driving between 75 to 80 mph, so I am very satisfied with the fuel economy. It does drive like a regular car - Plenty of power to pass as well (I've gotten up to 95 to pass trucks). A little disappointed with the fit on some interior pieces as well as cracking from the front passenger speaker but all that will get taken care of at my first oil change. I don't think at the current prices the Hybrid premium can be cost justified (especially compared to an LX or DX) but I got it at an even trade for my full size pickup (15 mpg).
