They don't make 'em like they used to

Have had to bring it in to the dealer 5xs for defects. Received the car with a scratched lense on the tachometer (from the inside). The back windshield would pop-out whenever I closed the back door. The seat belt sensor on the passenger side was defective and they had to change a computer in the dashboard. They recalled it because the accelator woudl get stuck, and NOW the passenger door handle came off when simply opening the door.(I never even use that side).

It's a blast

2006 Honda Civic Si 2dr Coupe w/Summer Tires (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

So I was not really looking to get a Civic until I drove the new Si. I have had classic Chevys over the years and they have all been over 300 hp. I know the the SI is not 300 but it still has guts for a 4 banger. The handling of this car is great right off the lot. I have yet to change anything to do with the suspension and I don't belive that I will. I did put 18" wheels on it with better tires. It made a pretty big difference.

Fuel Efficient

2006 Honda Civic LX 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 5A)

Before purchasing, I read several reviews on this and other cars. I owned a 2002 Camry, but just wasn't comfortable in that new style that model year brought. I read where several people were not happy with the fuel efficiency of the Civic, especially in city driving. After about 6,000 miles, I can state that I am NOT one of those people. Although most of my driving is highway, I do have some city driving. I average 37 mpg overall. On two predominantly highway trips, I average 42 mpg. I admit, finding a car that is comfortable for me to drive has been nearly impossible for about the last five years, so perhaps take my comfort rating with that in mind.

Another LEMON amongst many!

2006 Honda Civic LX 2dr Coupe (1.8L 4cyl 5M)

Where do I start? My LX coupe has not tracked straight since the day I bought and after reading other reviews I noticed it seats higher on one side too. Dealer did a wheel alignment - no improvement. 2,300 mi. on the odo. Car is going back to the dealer because it's wandering way too much and wants to change lanes by itself if you take your eyes off the road or hands off the steering wheel for 1/2 sec. Feels like the shocks are bad or the frame is bent. The brakes get mushy when going over bumps or while taking a turn. Steering vibrates under hard acceleration. There is abundant torque steer like a motor mount are broken. Seats are very uncomfortable! This is my 4th Civic and the worst1
