Great Car BUT interior is a NIGHTMARE
By TommyJohn on

2004 Honda Civic EX 2dr Coupe (1.7L 4cyl 4A)

My new civic is a joy to drive. Went
from a gas hog Explorer to a gas saver
and I am loving it. I get around 36 to
37 MPG on average. In fact I drove a
total of 500 miles on vacation without
having to fill up. The exterior is
sleek and sporty for the class it is
in. I do not have a spoiler, but
think the spoiler really dresses the
car up. The interior is decent but
needs serious work (see improvements)!

Best Features

For a car designed around economy, the engine has enought pep. Leather interior adds class. The car sits low enough to the ground; save $ and forgo the fog lamps. Top off when filling up & you can fit about 3 more gallons in the tank. This will give you and extra day or two!!

Worst Features

The rear window is an absolute NIGHTMARE to clean. It's impossible & always looks dirty & streaky. HONDA please fix this. The door panels get PERMANENTLY scratched & scuffed by shoes when entering and exiting the car. The High maintenance & fragile interior ages the Civic quickly.
