Great car, terrible dealers.
I would say that the vehicle itself is probably one of the finest vehicles ever built in the US. Having purchased the exceedingly rare V6/manual combination, I was fortunate enough to find a car that met every criteria I was looking for. The vehicle itself is amply powered, well laid out, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. Build quality overall is good with only a few very minor fit/finish issues. On the road, the vehicle is rather fun to drive on the aggressive side due to the copious power and torque available throughout the operating range. Passing and highway merges are effortless...in fact the most difficult part of driving the car is maintaining legal speeds! Speaking to the manual transmission variant specifically, the vehicle has a satisfying shift action, but the clutch is very light and far less forgiving than other vehicles I've driven. Sloppy technique is not tolerated by this drivetrain especially with its highly sensitive throttle response. A few months with this car will hone your manual driving skills with certainty. Ride is fairly firm but not jarring and handling is great with good stability in cornering and maneuvering. Steering feel is lacking as with most cars in this day and age. All in all, if you're looking for a V6 and manual transmission at a reasonable price, this vehicle is probably the best option available at this time. My only complaint lies with the sales process itself. Honda dealers are from my experience terrible. Never before have I had to endure as ultra high pressure and scummy a sales process as I went through for this vehicle. It seems to be that the only goal in the process is to inviscerate every buyer with aggressive and ridiculously over priced up sells to maximize profit. I had to literally walk out twice to get them to drop the sales pitch and execute the sale as I wanted. Service is also an issue...Honda dealers seem to have a system of harshly punishing those who do not use the original dealer's service dept for service. In my case, I had to purchase the vehicle 2 hrs from my home due to a lack of inventory in my area in the configuration I wanted. Despite having no other place to buy the vehicle, I am subject to being gouged by my local dealer for routine maintenance/inspections since I didn't buy it from them. Overall, I'd recommend this vehicle so long as you can avoid the sales process as much as possible. Use an Internet based car buying service and outright refuse to speak with any "finance manager" character in the midst of the process...find your own financing before you walk in. If the sales rep or Internet sales desk can't handle the sale themselves, terminate the process and find another dealer. Do not purchase any upsells as you can get everything they offer for 1/4 of the price from 3Rd parties. Any claims they make to the contrary are lies. Also, using a local dealer you intend to use for service will help improve your service experience.

Just what I needed
OK, I really really really wanted a Nissan 370z. Its been my dream car for such a long time. But I realized that I just needed more room on rare occasions. I also needed to buy an automatic this time because my wife cant drive a manual. Driving the Z automatic was a bitter disappointment, that cvt on the z was just terrible. I also didn't like the idea of premium fuel again. Enter the Honda Accord Coupe. That amazing Honda reliability, a very peppy V6 that doesn't need premium fuel but still gets nearly 300 hp, and a bit of a sporty look. I bought the White Accord and the 2 tone leather seats are just beautiful. Most of my commute is on the highway and I regularly get between 31 to 37 mpg. You read that right, on occasions ive reached 37 mpg. Add to that a nice quiet, comfortable ride and its all pretty much perfect for me. I was a bit disappointed with Honda's top of the line stereo in the EXL, but after tuning in the frequency controls a bit, I am much happier. And I am pretty sure that CD's sound much better through the stereo than using Bluetooth or USB. Was also disappointed to learn that Honda is still using a timing belt for the V6, but that huge bill wont be for many years. Now for the 6 month 6000 mile update. I had to take in due to some backfiring during start up. They couldn't duplicate the problem but the problem did go away except for on more time in March. One day I opened the door and the trim fell off? Not sure why but getting it fixed this week. The other day the backup camera stayed on during normal driving and I couldn't get to turn off, was blinding me at night when other cars would get behind me. Turning the car off and back on seemed to fix that and it never happened again.

Not your old Honda
Let me begin by saying I've had 4 Honda Accord Coupes since 1996 and worked for a dealership for many years; my first one was a 1989 Lx-i Hatchback, then a 1992 Coupe EX, next a 2000 2dr VTEC-V6, and sadly the LX-S. Accords have been with me for 20 years, and with the new model they went against everything that made their sport coupe special. A Honda is know for having great road connectivity, terrific driver-car symbiosis, sharp low-end power, and outstanding pedal feedback. The LX-S is tall, clunky, does not hold a line to the road, twitchy, and somehow they took all the feedback away from the driver. I specifically chose the manual transmission for control and vehicle connectivity for winters and city driving, and it feels like a computer restricted everything I did. I would even be just trying to drive in traffic and the car would rev down in anticipation of me shifting as part of Honda's CVT driver exprience, but ultimately putting me and pedestrians in danger. It felt like a ipod engineer made this car instead of a mechanic. Making user decisions without knowing what a road is like. It didn't feel like a car, after a year of it being undrivable in inclement weather because the car had a mind of it's own in rain and snow, I traded it at a huge loss to pick up an older 2008 Acura TL with a proper V6 VTEC engine and a vehicle setup that let the driver be in charge. Honda is now trying to be like Audi it feels, more gadgets and less car. My next vehicle will be probably be a subaru, a company that still lets the driver make the decisions. Best of luck folks.

I really wanted to keep this car for the long run
I'll start by saying I've been around Hondas my whole life. My father purchased his first in 1978 and has had 5 since. I have had 2 already and my 2002 Accord went through hell and back with me so I wanted another one. Except this car feels like it was made by Daewoo. About 6 months into ownership the car lost power. When I try to punch it, it feels like I'm dragging an 18 wheeler . It is clearly electrical but they insist in acting like it's all in my head when I take it to the dealership for a check. Best part is, I've already told them in two occasions I tried to set the speed for cruise control and it wouldn't, Again, clearly electrical but they won't own it. Buying Hyundai from now on
2 Door Accord, a Great Auto!!
The 4 cyl has more power than expected, 7 speed paddle shifters. Great breaking and Safety technology. Interior is beautiful. Super Happy customer!!

Love it...my 6th one!!!
Shop around and get one with good mileage and well taken care of. It definitely pays off in the long run especially if you plan to keep it more than 4 or 5 years. Makes for a good trade-in on a NEW one!!

The capable 2015 Accord V-6 Manual
I'm a big car guy, this is a review containing detailed info for other DIY car guys. Nothing gets me more than the beauty of a capable, reliabe, and SIMPLE car. I have been nothing but happy with my Accord. I bought it used on an auction website with hail damage, got a great deal and shipped it accross the country. It started and ran with no issues despite having sat in a field collecting dust in CO for who knows how long. The only initial issue I had was a big crack in the windshield that wasn't noticable in the auction picutes. Because of the forward collision warning system, a windshield replacement using OEM glass is about $1000 (compared to about $350 for an average windshield.) Honda also said you have to recalibrate the FCW camera after a replacement for another $300 at the dealership, I skipped that and have never had any issues as a result, and the warning system has saved me twice! Only have three gripes with this car. 1) No apple carplay for this model year accord (BUT THE FIGGIN CIVIC MODEL FOR THAT YEAR GO THE FEATURE)--ugh! 2) For the manual transmission, the fluid that honda ships with this car is TRASH and causes random gear grinding. Very frustrating to an experienced manual driver to be doing everything right and still have a huge grind with the clutch fully depressed. Did some research, found Amsoil Syncromesh fluid, replaced the transmission fluid with my next oil change at about 30K and totally fixed the problem. One of my favorite things about this car is how easy it is to work on. I like to do everything myself, so finding out that changing the transmission fluid was just as easy as doing the engine oil was an absolute win! I can change both fluids in about 40 minutes, I do the transmission about every 30k miles now. The coolant is super easy too, changed at 50k and will hit it again at 100k to keep that water pump going forever. Brake fluid was easy, clutch fuild much more difficult and frustrating, hard to do with big hands. 3) No limited slip diff! AHHH, this was the most powerful honda to ship from the factory in 2015. Even stock, it had great power! The problem is when you're trying to jump off the line, because the power isn't balanced between the front wheels you end up spinning one tire which can make you lose control. Not to mention eating up one tire at a time! Also gives you bad torque steer when pushing 3rd gear to high RPMs. There's no aftermarket parts being made to remedy this missing part at this point. I myself have tried to pull together a group of people that want the part big enough that it would be worth it for someone to make it (only need 10-12 people.) But not enough people out there are modding this awesome car. You can get OEM parts for the Acura TL (which has the parts standard) and mod your car with that. But OEM parts are expensive for what you're getting. We want something beefy and made specifically for our cars! At the end of the day, this car is just great. Awesome features that really make you feel like you're driving a car from 2015. But at the same time the mechanics are not stupid complicated, so you don't have to worry about working on the car yourself. I've put some mid-level mods in myself without any issues. I have the intake manifold and throttle body from an Acura MDX, tip to tail exhaust with Hi-Flow precats, an agressive retune, and absolutely no check engine lights. If it weren't for the limited slip diff issue, I would pull the trigger on an aggressive cam and push the power well beyond 300whp. Dyno'd at about 290whp for now. I don't beat on the car too hard, and I maintain everything obsessively. My dream is to hand it off to one of my kids someday. I'd love to push it beyond 300k, and I'm confident that I can do it. At 70k with no issues now, looking forward to timing belt shotly after breaking 100k. Still on the original brakes, that the next project but I probably still have 35-40% left. Rotors will need to be resurfaced then too, as the carbon buildup is causing that classic steering wheel jiggle when slowing down fast from high speeds. It's mild for now, but will only get worse. I would buy this car again in a heartbeat. Just wish there were more people out there modding these like they do civics so there would be a bigger market for performance parts! Now I just want a Landcruiser to complete a family of warrior cars headed to 300k+ miles!
2015 EX-L Coupe V6 6MT HFP San Marino Red
The HFP kit was an expensive option but well worth it. The suspension upgrade increases handling tremendously, the wheel/tire upgrade is a no brainier. The aero kits give an already aggressive stance a boost. Honestly, I'm amazed by how many people are taking pictures or asking about the car in parking lots. The 6spd manual transmission is as smooth as silk shifting and the clutch wont wear you out in rush hour traffic on freeways. A lot of people complain about the interior in lower trim levels but the EX-L trim level has a very nice interior. Power from the V6 is really good and the car seems faster than a lot of vehicles with comparable power to weight ratios. I also installed the Borla axle back exhaust which gives the car a very pleasing note and even some burbling when letting off the power. Well worth the $700 extra cost.

2015 Honda Accord Coupe...NO COMFORT AT ALL
So I bought this car brand new. As soon as I saw it I loved the way it looked. That was my problem, I bought on emotion. It looks great but driving it everyday gave me buyers remorse. It is now July 2018 and I selling it because of its issues. lets go with the bad first: Driver's seat is horrible to sit in longer than an hour. I have tried every position that you can move it to and not matter how I change it up it still sucks and I am only 5'9''. The infotainment/sound system is just garbage. The sound of music sucks and the freezing up all the time I have just gotten used to. The only positive is that it starts every time I get in. Which is something to be appreciated by someone that grew up with cars that always had problems. If you have the means to buy something else then I would.

Accord sport 6sp 4-yr review
I owned the 2015 accord sport with 6-speed manual since new. About 4-years and 55k miles. The stick is nice and very reliable. Fun car to drive but handling is family car- not sporty. Overall good driving experience and reliable. I noticed when new the paint would have clean chips easily for the first month. Annoying I had to touch up a lot. I think maybe bec the paint had not truly settled and sealed. Afterwards, seemed ok. Mechanically solid and looked good when waxed. The seats started to show premature age and I traded it in because I did not want to look at it. If I had leather would probably still have it. The seat material was not torn but discolored and looked dirty always, even after cleaning.
Great car
Works great. No major repairs, just rear brakes. Drives very nice and everything still works properly.

I call my accord V-6 “Grinder”
Let me first say I really like the Accord coupe V-6. I bought car used w 50,000 miles on 4/29/23 .It’s not my regular driver and I like it for the speed and it’s low miles and in very good condition. Unfortunately this car has a starter grind issue, I knew about this when I bought it and started the car at least 14 times at the dealer, no grinding, it started every time. Day after I bought it..*grind*! So after plenty of research I have found out what the problem is and it’s pretty sad Honda couldn’t come up with a more permanent fix for this problem. I also have to put a timing belt on the car because it’s at 100,000/ OR 7 years. But hey that’s just one more trip to the dealer to write a check right? I bought a name, That name does not mean relatability anymore…sad.
