4-Door Accord EX 6speed manual

Have just over 400 miles on my new Accord. The manual transmission is a joy to operate and is well matched to the engine. I am coming from an 04 G35, so I miss some of the extra HP, but the Accord is fairly peppy and the MPG improvement is outstanding. Not easy finding a manual transmission as dealer stated Honda doesn't allow you to 'order' your vehicle. Seats are very comfortable and the dash layout is very nice. There are quality materials throughout and it doesn't feel like Honda was trying to cut cost on the interior.

Well I originally was looking at the EX-L however did not really like the touch screen below the main screen. I opted for the Sport mainly for the wheels and the control knob below the main info screen. I prefer knobs over touch screens. Personal preference. Car feel larger inside then it looks, and the ride is firm yet in control. Was never a fan of CVT trans however I can honestly say that you rarely feel any of the rubber band pulling that I have expierenced in my Honda Insight. They may have started to figure it out. I personally liked the Mazda 6 however the only positive I had to buying Mazda was that it had a automatic trans opposed to CVT. Otherwise the Accord wins in all areas.

Glad I selected the Sport model

I purchased my first Honda after trading in my 2003 Mazda6s and so far I have been pleased. It lacks the performance of my old V6 mazda, but still performs well overall. The mpg has been around 30 combined on 50/50 mixed highway/local driving. I tested the Altima, Accord, & Fusion and ultimately the Accord won for the value and what I'm hoping will be long term reliability. The interior is nice and spacious, though the front headrests are a little uncomfortable unless you position the seat appropriately. I haven't noticed wind noise with my vehicle as other reviews stated, so maybe it is not present on the Sport models. Take a hwy test drive if you can to test for the problem.

I have about 177K miles on this car, and it still runs perfectly. No electrical issues or technology issues. The only maintenance done on the car has been oil changes every 7,500 miles transmission fluid flush at 100K miles, and brakes, and the only repairs have been the head gasket (at 150K miles), and starter at 120K miles. I'm getting around 33MPG (575 miles per tank) city/hwy combined on 87-89 octane fuel. Great buy.

Careful: These annoyances add up!

My 2013 Accord EX-L V6 w/navigation 2/13 purchase started off going the wrong way leaving my dealer's lot: 1. the car simply pulls to the left only at highway speeds. Two dealer visits within that week were a waste of time. They won't/can't figure out why this is so (any I'm not only driving on crowned roads). Had I noted this during my two test drives prior to purchase, I would have passed on this car. Annoying! You've been warned. 2. The audio system certainly is sexy and inviting, but when little things don't work like the subwoofer to the email/text message reading feature (using an iPhone 5)...or the lack of any Gracenote update installed in the car (until July 2013): grrrrrr
