Used 2013 Honda Accord Sedan Consumer Reviews
Still happy after 2.5 years
I purchased this car in late June of 2015 when it had about 26K miles on the odometer. When I purchased this as a Honda certified used car the car I bought a 7 year, 120K warranty along with it. Honda offers amazing warranties on Certified used cars - all of the work is done by local Honda dealers and you don't have to deal with 3rd party warranty companies who are trying to rip you off. So far I have had only 2 minor issues with the car - one was a wheel bearing that went bad, and the other was a broken cable (speed sensor). Both were fixed under warranty - and a suspect that the speed sensor cable was broken by the shop that did my tire rotation (it happened right after I had this done). As far as maintenance, I've had everything but the tires done at my local Honda dealer. Tires were replaced at about 46K. Other than oil/filter changes that only other maintenance has been a battery replacement, the front brake pads were replaced, and the brake fluid was flushed/replaced. The rear brake pads will be replaced in a few months and the transmission will be flushed. As far as the performance of this car goes, it's a great all-around car that is well-engineered. In city driving (Dallas) I get about 25-27 mpg - it goes to about 35 mpg on highway trips. The cabin is comfortable and I don't notice the wind noise some people have complained about in other reviews. Oh - and the six speed manual transmission. This is why I bought the car. It's a joy to drive and it allows you to get the most out of the engine (which is also a great 4 cylinder piece of machinery). Personally I love manual transmissions, and this is one of the best out there. Manual Accords are somewhat rare - but if you can find one and you like driving this is the way to go.

Happy Honda Owner
Wonderful car in every respect. Quality unsurpassed. No reason to trade but if I do the buyer will get a great car.

Traded for CR-V - Miss the Mileage
From my original review, "Absolute Delight To Drive", we have traded the Accord in for a CR-V and both of us hated to "see the Accord go" but at my age - over 85 - getting in and out of the Accord was more difficult. Despite that the Accord was so much fun to drive with a feel somewhere between sportscar and family sedan. The Honda Accord is certainly one we'd recommend - particularly for trouble free driving. (Original Review) The Accord is our "short" drive care (although we have taken a 4,000+ trip in it) and it's a "fun" car to drive - for my wife and for me. Every essential driving component is very responsive - brakes, steering, cornering, displays, heating and cooling - and the ride is relatively comfortable. Our latest stats for Trip A show an average mpg of 33.7 in a mix of driving in town, on the Interstate at 80 mph, on slick highways and on a few gravel roads so we are quite pleased with the mileage. Down side for me is entry and exit from the driver's seat. I have big feet and during entry and exit have to drag my foot across the bottom of the door - which wears out a portion of the rubber door seal. The car also likes batteries and I find myself replacing the battery every two years - each time with a heavier duty battery so hopefully I've solved that problem. At 47,000 miles I'm going to need to replace the tires before winter arrives. Compared to other vehicles we've had, and one we're still driving, that's a lot of miles on original tires.

Best 6 speed Manual Trans 4 door Sedan
I love this car. The only reason I bought this car was for the 6-speed manual transmission and I am glad I bought it.

The Greatest,
I Purchased this car brand new and have had it for the last six years. It’s been my only car. I have had absolutely no problems with it. The front view Looks sporty as it drives down the street. It still looks beautiful and makes me proud to drive it. I was just told that it still looks brand new. It’s a pearly white color, which shines beautifully.
