The 2013 Honda Accord is almost there if Honda would improve in areas that customers have complained about for almost 20 years. The 4cyl engine in my Accord is efficient for the most part but it has a loud cheap clattering sound when idle. Honda should also make navigation standard in the EX and above models especially for the asking price. There is no need to have two large screens in the middle of the dash just to make the interior look more technologically advanced. My brakes which are new and just installed by a Honda dealership need more work because sometimes they will brake as expected and other times the braking distance is almost doubled which has scared us several times. It is a good car overall but Honda has to pay more attention to the small details.

This is my last Honda ever .I have been a loyal client for years .The compressor is badly located make in sustainable to damage by small stones .Many clients have similar issues .My Accord had 29,000 miles when the problem started (still under warranty).Dealer added more refrigerant and told me there is no leaks which was a lie .The problem resurfaced again a year later (at least when we noticed it (we live in WI and AC usage is minimal). This time the 3 years have passed and no warranty .Repair cost $1,500

I purchased this vehicle as the second owner in 2015. Coming from Nissan, I was wanting more reliability and Honda succeeded with this car. I bought the car at 20k miles. Since I've purchased the car, I started changing things out at 50k miles, from changing the springs to Eibach pro kit, AEM cold air intake, custom tune; tuned with ktune and ATLP J-pipe. This car has no oil burn and no motor knock at 89k, I drive the car daily. Interior pieces have held up great.

I drive rentals for work. I have driven everything under the sun. The best overall car in the class is clearly the Accord sedan. We love the heated seats so we did the EX-L model. We love it so much I am upgrading my 2013 to a 2017 due to enhanced safety features on the 2017. So far I’m not impressed with the 2018 redesign so I’ll pass for now and stick with this geration. Seating is comfortable and everything is intuitive. The only thing this model lacks is a awd option.
