I loved my 2000 Accord SE, but it was time to pass it down, and get myself something new. This Coupe is amazing. I have driven many manual trannies, but this one is the best. The engine has plenty of power, tugging smoothly at the low end and breathtakingly at the high end - and it makes wonderful sounds! There's always a correct gear to select. Positioning of all controls is great. With only 200 miles on it, I got 30 mpg on a 460 mile trip, with a combination of city and mostly high speed highway, cruising at 80 mph (the speed limit in that part of Texas, thank you) and making no attempt to be frugal. City-only is averaging 24, again without trying. Sound system is awesome. Addendum: After three years, it is better than ever. The only problem so far has been a bad battery, replaced for free because the green indicator quit appearing (not because I could otherwise tell that the battery was sub-par.) The transmission is even silkier that is was, and the clutch is smoother as it breaks in. I still get a reliable 30 mpg on the road, 27 mixed, and 23-24 in city driving only. I once had to brake on a road with glare ice (the idiot in front of me panicked at a yellow light) ... touching the brakes lightly brought an immediate mild yaw, followed by a mild shudder, and then the car straighten itself out. Once off the ice, I was able to stop before rear-ending the idiot (who had PLENTY of time to get through the yellow light, but didn't.) I realized that the brakes had actuated independently to prevent a spin! The suspension is a little stiff for a few of our less well-maintained city roads, but is usually fine, and is perfect for the 85 mph stretch of State Highway 130 between San Antonio and Austin. It runs effortlessly at those speeds. The engine redlines at 62 mph in 2nd gear, and yet rounds city corners smoothly in 3rd gear, so there's always an appropriate gear for any occasion. My only complaints are that my only color choices were black and gray, and it would be nice one of the video screens would mirror my cell phone's screen. Addendum#2: No problems at all. Still get 30 mpg on the road (32 if it is all Interstate, which around here means 75-80 mph.) Smooth shifter is even smoother. Honda is making such a huge mistake by not promoting this car to enthusiasts. Even the car magazines aren't testing the new ones like this, yet they complain about Honda's lack of models with the performance this one offers. Addendum #3: Still no problems at all. Took a road trip of several thousand miles this summer, including the mountains of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. My mileage was still 31 mpg, and I rarely had to downshift on uphill legs.

Honda's new Prelude

Anand K, 09/19/2015
2013 Honda Accord EX-L 2dr Coupe (2.4L 4cyl CVT)
9 of 9 people found this review helpful

Nutshell -- Pros: Sleek looks, surprisingly roomy, surprisingly fast, surprisingly efficient, surprisingly sporty - just surprising. Amazing tech and build quality, too. Cons: Slam-you-into-the-ceiling sporty/bumpy ride, poorly designed paddle shifters. Overall: The next Prelude, with Mercedes CLA specs. I traded my 2010 Altima for a 2013 Accord and it was one of the better purchase decisions I've made. I can't believe what Honda has packed into this beast at this reasonable price point. Performance: Here's where it shines. Yes, it's only got 4 cylinders. But, it has 185 horsepower and as many lb-ft of torque... and most of that's ready to go before 4000 RPM (unlike most Honda engines). Smash the gas, the engine's at 4000RPM almost immediately, and your neck almost snaps. The CVT doesn't sound like one -- Honda made sure that lead footed drivers are rewarded with what sounds like a Prelude engine with a 7 speed transmission shifting it! Handling is at the norm for a Honda sport-class vehicle - The car goes where you point it. Even the interior is sport-oriented, with VERY well bolstered front seats and carbon fiber like trim. The car will really fool you into pretending you're sitting in something sportier than the two door version of a large family sedan. The only real thing to watch for here are the paddle shifters -- you can use them in Sport mode and pretend you're shifting up or down as if driving an F1 car. In all honesty, the paddles are small and it's much more intuitive to grab what's *behind* them instead. In this case, expect to hit the windshield mist wiper stalk while shifting up, and the high beam flasher while shifting down. Build Quality: All Hondas shine in this department and the 2013 Accord Coupe is no exception. The doors slam shut with remarkable tightness for a 2-door. Top quality materials include perforated leather (EXL/EXV6) and aluminum-toned carbon fiber-type trim. Vibration is virtually nil, even on rough surfaces. One poor choice Honda made, though, was that glossy honeycomb pattern mess that goes across the front below the aluminum trim. Comfort: The EX-L/V6 models are decked out with pretty much everything imaginable for the class. Dual zone climate control, 10-way power seat, moonroof, and anything else you can cram into a sub-$30k car. The back seat will fit two 6' adults comfortably for under-2-hour trips. Coming from a 2010 Altima, though, the Accord coupe's very intimate (read: rough) ride was rather jarring until I got used to it. It all comes with the sporty territory, anyways. Tech: The Accord went from being a behind-the-class piece of tech equipment straight to the top of its class. The HondaLink system is amazing (providing you have compatible devices). It's surprisingly easy to use (take it from someone who's used to using an array of 50 buttons to control his audio system). However, if you're intimidated by tech -- I won't lie here -- you're really going to hate this system; Luddites need not apply. Efficiency: Now that Honda finally figured out the meaning of low-end torque, engine power is available to you at more usual speeds -- This translates to not just better acceleration, but also better fuel economy. The coupe claims 25/36 city/highway, although my own measurements have been a bit narrower (closer to 29/34 city/highway). Most of my driving is city, so I can't complain. You can even lead-foot every start (like I did on my first tank) and still get about 24 MPG city(!). Safety: This runs in the Accord's bloodline. In addition to the highest level of active safety (i.e., good handling and braking), the Accord has lane departure warning (which can thankfully be kept off if you live in an area with narrow lanes, as I do), forward collision warning (an amber light that flashes at the base of your windshield when you get a wee bit too close to something), a rear view backup camera with wide angle, and something new for its class -- a right turn blindspot camera, which activates when you hit the right turn signal (new drivers might find this feature a bit distracting at first, but it helps, trust me!). Of course, add to that 10+ airbags and good crash test ratings. Overall: A close to 10/10 vehicle. Not perfect, but something to consider if you really want something sporty, reasonably luxurious, and techy to boot! The 2015 model, for those interested in a newer rig, is pretty much identically equipped and priced (and a bit more powerful).

Great Coupe

Traded in my '13 Dodge Challenger R/T for this '13 Accord Coupe V6 and couldn't be happier. I've owned 20+ cars in my lifetime and have never been brand loyal to any manufacture. If I like the car, then I'll buy it. This car was used and 11k miles on it. Paint was almost flawless with a few small nicks in the front bumper but after some detailing and touch up paint, you can't see it any longer. The vehicle has a sporty feel and quiet on the road although the suspension can be a little jarring on rough roads. Nice acceleration and doesn't make a lot of noise doing it (cough..Dodge..cough). I believe this car is almost as quick as my Challenger.

Two weeks, and 800 miles in, and I love this car. Despite my 60+ mile daily, roundtrip commute, my Prius was driving me crazy. No power, poor handling, and noisy! I wanted something that was going to be just as reliable, addressing all of my complaints about the Prius, still getting reasonably good mileage. I almost got the 4-cyl Accord, but I'm so glad I went for the V6. Even though I keep it in eco mode most of the time, there is always plenty of power on tap. At highway speeds, it's quiet, but you can still hear the engine growl when pressed. The fuel economy is within claimed range, and getting better with every tank. The infotainment system takes some getting used to.

My last car was 2007 BMW 335i Coupe so I was worried about getting bored with a normal car. Not so with the Accord Sports 4D or the Coupe with paddle shifter. The 4 cyl is plenty powerful, quiet, great handling, & fantastic gas mileage. I got the Coupe LX-S which is the base model yet it came with bluetooth, auto temp control, back up camera, cruise. Missed my remote access but that's it. Back to lower maintenance cost, less gas, & feeling smart about getting good value. Got it at $22,393 with sticker at $24,990. Damn good car for the money.

This review is for our 2013, Accord V-6 EX-L coupe. We are third time accord owners, 1993 station wagon, a 2008 sedan and now our coupe. We purchased a V-6 EX-L coupe in March 2013. The Accord was purchased to replace our 2009 Infiniti G37S, and we are happy with the swap.

I like the car, think it is very comfortable, agree with other issues, center console lid should slide so can use as arm rest, but get use it and I am short. Anyways, having issues with the radio with static and have had all the presets disappear one time now (they did come back after a while). The issue acts like a short, went to the dealer and they said have another similar complaint, they said Honda says it is a software problem, wish they told me when I called an made and showed up for the service appt. The problem is not fixed, googled the issue. I didn't see anything about it. This is irritating. Asked if Honda would call me or if I had to call them again and told didn't know.

After owning three Civics, I decided to try an Accord. This is the best Honda yet. Wish I bought one earlier. The car is a fully loaded EX-L V6. I assumed that gas mileage would be around 25 MPG. Since I owned it (Nov 2012), it's ranging from 28 to 34 MPG. I drive about 50/50 Hwy/City in Long Island, NY. On a trip from LI to Newport, RI, I averaged 34.1 MPG. I use the ECON setting for about 90% or driving. For power the V6 in Non-ECON, the car can keep up with vehicles costing much more. It is a poor man's BMW, but worth every penny of it.

I've always owned a Honda except for a 6 mth period of a Nissan, and I can say this will be my last one. I bought the Honda in January of 2013. By 4/12/2013, I'm ready to return it. By February, the car developed rattles in the sunroof, front dash, back quarter panel, driver-side door, and center console. It has been in for these rattles 3 different times. Furthermore, the infotainment (audio/navi) system is the most unreliable software I've ever experienced. It constantly crashes, stops responding, sends extremely loud static. The UI is backwards and cumbersome. It is so version 1.0 it shouldn't have been released. I should have bought a Ford. Honda says an update is inprogress.

Looked at and test drove a 2010 Accord Coupe, it was nice but too much road noise. Was in the market again and the ride, power, and road noise were markedly better in the '13 than the previous Accords. Interior leather and finishes are very nicely done. Getting 32 MPG combined (60% hwy miles). Only problem is the audio system. Having the same issue a lot of others are reporting with intermittent muted / distorted sound. Message boards and forums are saying Honda is providing a firmware fix end of Feb first of March 13. Let's hope so... very disappointing for only having the car 3 weeks!!

EX-L-4 Wish I'd looked closer & at other cars first to compare. Seat is hard & seat seam hits you wrong. Lttle open space for glasses & badges. Arm rests are next to useless & Very little CD storage. No garage door button on EX-L-4? Rough & hard ride. Can't find comfort spot while seated. Test drive on saleman's route didn't show hard ride, wife drove, her car. Loved previous 3 Accords, kick myself hard for not looking harder at 2013. Already has vibration rattle. Love design, looks, cameras, power, rear seat room, plus other stuff, don't like sitting & driving the car. We will adapt & adjust, have to, but have real remorse about buying it. Loved previous Accords, Not this one.

This is the best Honda I have ever owned. I've had 5 Accords and a CRV. The thing that impresses me the most is the beauty of the car and the outstanding job Honda did with the Interior. I never much liked the quality of the interior in any of my other cars. This one is well designed, has quality materials, and the electronics are out of sight. The radio has great sound and everything is at the fingertips of the driver. The reason I am selling this car is the size of the trunk.

Almost 2 years later after buying this car, I still love it as much as day 1. I bought this used with 40k miles on it. My car now has 100k miles on it, and I have not had any issues whatsoever. I have experienced the Honda reliability that I expected when purchasing. The 6 cylinder with the CVT is smooth, poweful, and fuel efficient. I average about 32 MPG on highway trips. Driving in downtown San Diego in stop and go is a different story- as expected with a 6 cylinder. The car itself feels solid and heavy. My favorite features are the crystal clear large backup cam and the Honda lanewatch camera on the right side mirror. Honda lanewatch has proven to be an extremely useful and underrated feature. It makes driving on highways much easier and safer. Overall I love this car and I firmly believes it’s the best car on the market today for under $40k. It’s a shame Honda stopped producing the coupe (and the 6 cylinder, WTF!) for 2018. Hopefully this changes in the future.

I went from a Infiniti M35 to the 2013 Accord Coupe. I love the design of the car and it's a blast to drive. My complaint is this. I'm not getting anywhere near the mileage they claim to get in the city. I've even drove like a little ole man from Pasadena just to see if I could get it to improve. I'm getting like 13 or 14 MPG in the city, WITH THE ECON BUTTON ON. I've called the dealer and they claim that the car needs to break in, have at least 5000 miles on it. Well I sure hope this is true because as it stands now, I'd have kept my Infiniti and am counting the months until I can drop this Honda off at the dealer and go get another Infiniti. I ended up getting out of the lease when I was able to to a great price on an Infiniti and not lose to much. For me it was worth losing a few dollars and having a car I loved than continuing to pay for a car that I hated more and more with each passing day. I'm sure it's a great car for some, just wasn't the car for me. The car wouldn't keep the presets for the Phone or Stereo, I'd have to reset them just about every time I got in the car. If the car was parked outside in the sun for too long, the "Camera" located behind or by the rear view mirror would heat up and give some funky warning that would take several minutes to turn off.

I purchased my Accord Coupe in May and took it in June on a 3000 mile road trip. I could not have been more pleased with the performance. The sound system does have a little quirkiness but definitely not a deal breaker. It has a comfortable ride but not luxurious. After a few hours on the road the seat seems hard, but my back was perfect. The styling is sporty and I believe the Honda reputation helped me choose this car over others I had considered. I have owned two other Hondas previously, a '92 Accord and an '01 CRV. Gas mileage is just as was presented on the sticker. With air conditioner running I get around 32-34 on the highway and 23-24 in town.

I absolutely LOVE this car! The ride is super smooth, the interior is beautifully laid out with quality materials. The exterior is eye catching. The only faults that I have found so far is that occasionally the CVT does not feel as though it engages properly. It just feels a little sluggish. Then other times, the car feels like it accelerates with ease. Also, the entertainment operating system has been glitchy...not unbearable, but glitchy. But overall, this is an INCREDIBLE vehicle! I LOVE IT!

This is a solid sporty reliable peppy 4 cylinder - always have enjoyed owning and driving this good looking car. In fact, I am buying another Honda Accord - a last minute purchase of a 2017 (Nov. 2017) since I found out they have eliminated some of my favorite features in the 2018. Whoever buys this 2013 will be happy with it I am sure!

I got my Accord V6 Coupe in Spring 2016, with 40,000 miles on it. It now has around 110,000 and it's still driving great! With regular maintenance, it has performed really well for me over the years. I think the starter motor will need replacing soon, as it has given me grinding noise instead of starting a few times, but then it always starts by the 3rd try. The ride is smooth and quiet. The sound system is really good for all kinds of audio (phone calls to bluegrass to NPR to hip-hop). The car is comfortable for the driver and for the passengers (dual zone temp control is so so nice) and has generous trunk space. The leather is holding up well. The paint job still looks good, not fading or anything (mine is black, hence the "Batmobile" moniker). I get around 26-28 mpg for mainly city driving. On long trips, where it's more highway driving, I can get 33-34. The pick-up is fantastic, though I usually drive in ECO mode. But when I need to, I can take it out of ECO mode and it's nice and zippy. The handling is really nice and stable, even when driving on mountain roads. It's just a great car!

Just picked up an LX-S manual. It has every feature I want and nothing I don't. Incredible fit and finish, incredible refinement and sportiness, and incredible beauty. I can't believe that more people aren't buying these. After 20,000 miles, still great. No repairs, everything works great, and the driving feel and gas mileage keep getting better and better. Cruises quietly on the highway, goes around corners with authority, plenty of cargo space, comfortable seats for long drives, and surprisingly good audio. Not sure why anyone would want to spend more money on a car.

When you use Apple gear, it is a joy because everything "just works". I find it the same way with Hondas. I now have a few hundred miles on my 2014 EX Coupe and I still smile every time I get in. It has sporty performance, very comfortable, and just enough tech to be helpful, but not get in the way.

Have had the car for for a few weeks and then her I have it the better. Car handles well and is decently enough quick. I feel like it accelerates better at higher speeds. Lots of features and love the dual screens and paddle shifters. Love the looks inside out. The rear end is hot. The mpg is great. The biggest downfall is the road noise which isn't awful or great. Only things I would ha he is make it a stick and a little faster.

I just purchased on the 4th, car has 85 miles. Initial impressions- fit/finish/materials quality are among the best if the best combination in class. Ride, while not a quiet as some perhaps, is still plenty quiet and smooth enough without sacrificing handling. However comparing to my last car, a c5 corvette, just about anything would seem smooth to me :). -MSRP $30,070 -paid $28.500 However I'm sure many in the mainland do $1-2k better than us here in Hawaii. -Hondacare 7yr./80,000 w/$100 Deductable- $895 So, FYI- shop the Hondacare Warranty price options online before you buy as you can save a lot in the Finance office. I am going to stop mine before it is submitted and get better.

Had the car for 4 months and 4k miles. Bought it used/certified with 42k miles. Starter had to be replaced 1 month after I bought it. First the bad: the stereo stinks. FM radio sounds like AM mono. Bluetooth lags but sounds decent. Cd player sounds the best but doesn't read .mp3 discs. USB input doesn't recognize my android phone to play music. Aux input sound is not good. Phone to car stereo interface doesn't work (everyone has this problem and Honda is not fixing it.) The Active noise cancelling doesn't work but is not needed as car is quiet. YOU CAN'T REPLACE THE STEREO without losing many functions and settings!!! This thing called IMID which controls many functions and features and settings non stereo related is built in to the stereo! HOW IDIOTIC IS THAT!?! The front seats are not comfortable. No lumbar adjust or support. I have good athletic posture and the head rest pushes your neck/head forward. The seats are not (that) bad, but should be better at this price. I use small pillow for lumbar. Missing some obvious features like lighting for back seat, no cup holders in back seat, power outlets only work when car is on, no floor lighting. Not a fan of the push button start. One thing I don't like is the center console layout. Not good use of space. When using cups in cup holder, interferes with shifting, forget using a coffee mug. The doors on my coupe are too big and heavy. Not expecting the alignment and hinges of doors to last. (I won't be doing a 2 door ever again!) Hard to get out of car in tighter spaces and hard to load things in car. For some reason, the pass through feature between trunk and back seat is left off on the coupe? The area on the hood just above the grill is very prone to little rock chips. I think it's the aerodynamics? The good: the car drives wonderful! The handling is like a much more expensive sports car! Yes, I've driven nice sports cars...The car doesn't feel like the rated hp and torque, but it's good enough. I love Honda manual tranny and the way they shift and this doesn't disappoint! Hint to Honda...(keep up the way you do manual transmissions!) I enjoy the Sunroof. Factory smoked windows are a GREAT feature! The dual zone control HVAC is a nice feature! Wish fan speed was dual/independent controlled. Trunk space is great for a 2 door and car this size! backup camera screen is nice size especially compared to other cars. Did I mention the handling and steering and braking on this car is incredible!?! In economy mode only 1 mpg difference. Others are getting the same result in econ mode. I'm getting about 29 mpg. combined highway/city driving. This is an update 20k miles later...Edmunds sends me emails asking me to update. Well nothing has changed about my review. Except headlight lens is not looking great and I used the 3m lens restore to make very little difference. Not going to pay someone $80 to fix something that shouldn't be broken at this point. Still not happy about car functions being built into the hardly usable car stereo! Others have found a way around the car stereo by relocating stereo head unit to the trunk and installing new stereo in dash. Either requires a LOT of wiring and a huge expense to get proper plugs or a ridiculous amount to pay someone to do it.

I love my 2013 Honda Accord Coupe! I owned a 1986 Accord LX-I sedan and it was a great car. I had forgotten the superior quality of a Honda product. I actually test drove a c class Mercedes, 3 series BMW and a Nissan Altima before buying the Accord, none of those cars come close to the Accord.

I bought the car with 41,000 miles on it. I have had the car for a 1 year and 7 months with 76,000 miles on the clock now. Pros: Buttery smooth v6 engine. Love that Honda gave it a deep exhaust note from the factory. Leather seats are uber comfy (especially the head rest) and the leather has held up very well; way better than the Acura's I have owned. Since I have owned it I haven't had any mechanical issues, as expected. Favorite feature is the side mirror camera that comes on when I use the blinker. Cons: Timing belt that needs to be replaced at 100k. For 2013 Honda tried to save fractions of a penny by reducing the amount of metal in the brake pad hardware, causing the clips to come lose. Since I have had the car I can hear the clips clinking around while driving. There was a TSB for it and in 2014 they went back to they old hardware design. If I keep the care I will have mechanic use the 2014 hardware. I really hate the cylinder deactivation technology that the engine has to get better mpg. Causes lots of vibration and causes the car to downshift alot. I bought the SVCM to deactivate it and that was worth the $100 I spent. I only lost about avg 2 mpg. The most annoying thing with the car, which I do not know if it is a wide spread Accord problem or just my specific car, but I have had 4 mechanics that can't figure out this popping noise, almost like when you crack your knuckles kind of noise on the front passenger side. It really bothers me that I have this great looking car and on any slow turning movements you hear this loud popping noise all the time. This will be the reason why I get rid of it if I do.

Longtime Honda Owner, Called to Return

I bought this 2013 Accord to replace my 2012 Civic that was destroyed in Hurricaine Sandy. The salesman steared me into this car and now I have Buyer's Remorse. I have owned many Honda's in my day, Prelude's and Accord's but this model is a looser. 3 weeks in I called to ask the dealer if I could exchange for a Civic and he said "Not without big fees" The problem is they have tried to make everything microprocessor based. You can't just spin a dial and tune the rabio anymore. I gone off the road, twice already just trying to search for a new station. This car is an overdesigned dog! Take it from a longtime Honda owner. Consider the features offered and if you really need them.

Overall great design & performance for the Money. Very disappointed with the reliability, and Honda service. Honda has by far the absolutely WORST customer service, I have ever experienced. Currently my Accord is back in the shop for going on four days, no updates, calls and the vehicle is still not fixed. Finally got a loaner on the third day,and dealt with rude, under trained associates who gave me a filthy loaner car, with no update on my vehicles repairs, instead it was still sitting exactly where it was towed. Can't wait to get it back so I can go get my 2014 Lexus Is

Traded in a 99 Chevy Malibu for this (leased) car, and I wish I had the Chevy back. Terribly rough ride, extremely shaky and loud over the tiniest bumps. Potholes literally shake you to the point where you think the car will far apart! Even the AC in the 99 Chevy was better. Any car I've ever driven or rode in has a smoother ride. It's because with the 2013 models they dropped the wishbone suspension to save money. I don't believe they tested the suspension, it's terrible, extremely unpleasant. Not what you'd expect from a 'high-end' Accord. Also, the car has started making shaking noises when I hit bumps, it's pretty disturbing for a new car. AVOID THIS CAR !

This is a great looking car, full of performance, and new technology. I haven't owned the car a full month yet, but here is my take on it. The CVT transmission takes a bit of getting used to, if you haven't owned one. Would like it better if Honda would make it a rear wheel drive. The V6 is great, if you like to get up and go, but the 4-banger is fine for most of us, I have owned 4 previous Honda's, a Prelude, Civic, and two Accord Sedans. Honda makes a dependable car, good gas millage, performance, low road noise, and a good looking car, that plenty of other car companies have tried to copy. I'm still getting used to the electronics, a good bit more advanced than previous cars I have owned. I have figured out most everything I need to know, but being close to the age of sixty, I still prefer things simple. I'm pretty sure this car is made for younger drivers, but I'm still young at heart, and really enjoy driving, and owning this coupe.

The car itself is a fun car to drive. Looks and drives great. My complaint is that it come nowhere close to the mileage they claim in the city, at least not yet. Honda claims you should receive about 20 MPG in the city. These calculations are also based without the Econ button you can use which also, is supposed to increase mileage. My first tank of gas I got around 13.4 MPG, this was mostly city driving. Of coarse I called the dealer and I was told the car needed to be broke in, the computer needed to learn my driving habits. This would take 5000 miles for the car to be broke in and learn my habits. so far, not even close to claimed mileage. Look forward to buying another Infiniti.

A new car that smells new, plastic and leather. Never in the weather snow rain no pets no kids and no one every in the back seat. Keep in the garage all its life. Almost like getting a new car for slightly over half price. Still have original window sticker, 3 sets of remote keys, and many other extras most owners would not have. You wil lplrobably not find a better 4 year old car.

I traded in a 2008 Accord sedan for this 2013 Accord Coupe, EX with leather and nav. I wish I hadn't done that. Why? The primary reason is the Coupe's ride quality. My 2008 Accord was smooth as silk. The new car is best described as uncomfortably harsh. You feel every bump. I could see this being an exhausting ride, especially for a long drive. Maybe new tires will help? I probably won't know for 3 years or so, when it's time to get new tires. Assuming I can deal with riding in a car with no suspension for 3 years. I suggest anyone considering a new Accord take the car for a lengthy test drive over a variety of street surfaces.

Fantastic Car

We've owned our 2013 Accord Coupe EX (4 cyl.) since March of 2013. We bought it new. We have never owned a more reliable car. With over 150,000 miles now it has never let us down except for a dead battery once (not the car's fault). We've gone on cross country road trips through heat, dust, snow, and ice. We still use it as our daily driver. It has decent pep and handling with great gas mileage. We've been religious in simple maintenance and have never had a major issue. The CVT is actually really good too. I was worried about it initially, but it has proven to be reliable. It stays in the power band under hard acceleration but simulates gears when driving conservatively. The paint and interior has also held up well. We even had a toddler in the backseat spilling things everywhere when the car was new. You'd never be able to tell now. I'm sure the black cloth seats have helped in that regard. Overall it's a great car. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants something with good gas mileage. It's a great daily commuter car.

Before I bought this car in June 2013 (2013 Honda accord), I had great standards for this car. I am deeply disappointed by the overall experience. My high standards are no longer high. In years past, I had heard such great reviews from prior clients, which is what made me decide to purchase one. I have an oil leak, oil changes does not last 3 mos, have to replace the starter at 65, 000 miles at 5 years, radio knob not completely operative, phone calls directory using bluetooth no longer present. I had a 2002 Nissan Altima, prior. At least the starter starter lasted 10 yrs!! Well next time around, I think I will return to American made cars. Signed, Disappointed

i LOVED my car for the first few years that I had it. Great features, drove great, good on gas. I bought the car at the end of 2014 and in 2020 I started feeling my transmission slipping and when I accelerate the car was not as fast as it used to be. Took it to the mechanic and paid a bunch if money that “fixed the problem” 3 months later, when I turned the car on a piston blew there the engine wall and a bunch of metal fell out if my car! For it towed to the mechanic again and they told me not only was my engine destroyed now but my transmission was on its last leg as well. Only has $3,000 left on the loan to pay, someone bought the scraps of it. Loved the car while it was good, but went down hill pretty fast
