Used 1999 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
An Excellent Car if you don't Dog it
Bought this thing with around 45K miles on it in 2004 and drove it until some kid parked his Blazer in my trunk last week at 127K miles. Great car. Not the most fun car I've ever driven, but still not bad. No issues other than the cheap factory GM alternator had to be replaced at around 50K miles which I was expecting. No tranny issues. Driver's side leather seat started looking rough but not bad considering it was a 10 year old car. All in all no complaints other than the alternator and maybe a tighter, sportier suspension. Super reliable, what you can expect from a Honda.
What a great car!!
I purchased my 1999 Honda 2Dr EX V6 new in April 99. I have 110,000 miles on this car and I must say that it is an excellent vehicle. I drive it daily and find it very enjoyable to drive. It has great performance and reliability and it is very comfortable on long drives. My overall average mileage is 23.5 miles per gallon. Which hasn't changed much since I bought the car. I plan on keeping this car for a very long time. I highly recommend it.
99 Honda Accord EX
It should be known first of all that but I received this car it had over 200,000 miles on it. I was surprised and impressed with the power of the four cylinder VTEC motor. I was also surprised at the reverse gear stopped working all of a sudden with no warning! Can't blame the vehicle though, I'm sure the previous owner wasn't one for maintenance.
Still driving it.
We bought our '99 Honda Accord in 2002. It currently has approx. 311,000 miles on it. Over the years, the only the cv joint and the egr valve have needed to be replaced. The car still runs beautifully. We feel comfortable passing it down to our daughter; It's just that reliable. It's gets great gas mileage especially compared to our Nissan Armada. This car is the best vehicle we have ever owned by far.

Best Value Ever
After reading Edmunds reviews I went ahead and bought a 1999 Honda Accord V6. It was the best money ever spent. I have had this vehicle one year now. I have added 4,000 miles to the 117,000 that we’re on it. It is an enjoyable vehicle to drive. The pep is there for on acceleration and the ride is smooth. The car had a newer paint job and looks great for an 18 year old vehicle. Sometimes the transmission is hesitant but that is the only complaint I have about this vehicle. It feels durable and well built. Everything still works on the interior. The reason Honda is always at the top of reviews is quite evident to me.
