Update to report below: I have surpassed 100,000 miles on the Honda Accord Hybrid and I will tell you that it is still a great looking and great handling vehicle. A dump truck going to a construction site damaged the vehicle unfortunately, which kind of kills the buzz of excitement. But the local dealer's collision shop did an excellent job of repairing it. Since I purchased the vehicle with about 70K miles on it, by now I have updated and refilled all of the fluids (oil, brake, coolant, transmission) and there are no issues. Had an amazing 2016 Hyundai Sonata, that gave me no issues. Although there have been several technical bulletins, including one that extended the powertrain warranty, because some engines have failed suddenly, because of a manufacturing issue. Also, mine was one of those that Hyundai chose NOT to install an immobilizer. So I sold it, and purchased a used Honda Accord Hybrid with 75K miles on it. I only missed my Sonata for a week, then I got the Accord. 1) It definitely accelerates faster than my 2.5 liter ICE engine Sonata. 2) After a 220 miles roundtrip I posted a 46 mpg fuel usage. My Sonata would only get about 33mpg. That is almost a 40% increase. 3) The ride is definitely firmer, but it also handles sportily! 4) The climate and entertainment controls were intuitive, with no learning curve required. 5) The safety features are what I wanted and they don't disappoint. It has lane keep, automatic cruise control (work all the way down to a stop behind another car), rear cross traffic alert, it reads speed signs and it has Blind Side Monitoring.

Smooth, powerful, efficient! I've averaged 45.5 mpg in the past year. I seldom lack for power. Rides smooth. No regrets!

The Accord Hybrid is comfortable, smooth, and quiet. It has plenty of acceleration to merge with freeway traffic, and gets over 45 MPG! This technology is a sane, reasonable step on the path to energy independence, rather than legislating electric cars that few people can afford.

love this 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid EXL. I've been driving a lot and getting about 57 mpg. It's quiet and I love the audio system.
