Drives great when its working
The rear differential was replaced under warranty, at 110k the transmission was replaced, the interior drivers doors panel is on the 3rd one, AC went out just after Warranty. Drives great when its working. Wheel bearing went out under warranty. Car trim came loose allowing wind to get inside. Might be assembled in the U.S.but not made here. Parts are not made to last. All the good gas mileage gone due to the frequent repair bills. Even with GM sharing in the costs these are repairs I never had to do with my 2002 Chevy Tahoe unless the mileage was at or over 143, 000 miles. I had 356k on the Tahoe and the Transmission was still good. More Bells and Whistles but less durabilit. Ordered 3rd tail light. $700 dollars. GMC did share costs when all the above went bad but it pissed me off that the quality of these parts were so compromised. Pullledcour 25ft. Flying Cloud airstream however a bit under powered for uphill climbs. Vehicle is comfortable with and a good ride. Just wished every component was made withe the intent to wear. Warranty should be 115,00 on the trans and 60,000 on everything else. Laughing my head off that they lowered the trans to 60,000 so you need to up it to 100k which in my case still wouldnt have helped me. Finally the engine died, mechanic couldnt save it. I wasnt about to put $8500 in this vehicle with around 149k on it. I have a new Ram 1500 Limited waiting to rebuilt as soon as the plant is open. I'm done with GM for who know how long. The cost of painting that Yukon was way too much.

Yukon is a Con
Have owned our 2015 Yukon Denali for about 3 years. Started with 65k and now has 130k. Probably 6000 in repairs. Struts are $2000+, LED's are $1000. Tires are $1000+ Rear shocks are $1000. Automatic running boards are a disaster. Finally found a person who could turn ONE of them off. Most recent is a fuel line leak which could have caused a fire. Navigation system chip needed replaced. Not sure I will ever purchase another GMC. Do better!

Great form and factor - terrible quality
I love the looks and size of this vehicle. I wanted a large vehicle for a large family + dog and powerful towing capacity. It meets all those marks. Unfortunately, this is my second GMC and quality is garbage. Falls apart after 5-6 years. For a $75,000 vehicle, you would expect better. These aren't small issues. Major repairs: - Lifters/valve springs in engine - Front axle snapped - Front struts seized - Bearing in steering wheel "pops". - Lane departure system shorted out - Automatic Ride Control / leveler - compressor shot - Air Conditioning compressor cracked - Control arm broken Update 7 years old and $91k miles: - Rear/side traffic sensors went bad (seals wore out) allowing water to enter. Shorted out entire high speed data network in car, rendering car undriveable. All instrumentation just shut off while driving! $2,400 repair - Auto-ride leveling no longer working - Now starting to high-idle. Vacuum leak or bad O2 sensor. - Vehicle components/frame rusting like crazy for just 5 years old. These are repairs costing thousands of dollars each, not hundreds. It's a non-stop money pit. Easily putting $4k per year into this car to keep it running. Given this, I'll be forced to leave the brand and buy foreign next time. 2x I've given GMC the benefit of the doubt. They just don't build a quality product.
Don't buy. Mechanical POS.
GMC should have recalled the transmissions. Shifting slips all the time. Dealer admits they stink. Went to the dealer 5x and gave up. They just replaced fluids. And GM just doesn’t get it; do the right thing here. I have 4 friends with 2015-2017 models. All same issue. Just google it. After all these years, this is the best GM can do? Awful. For a sticker price of $85, sale price of $75k, this is competing with a class of SUVs that all “look good”. That’s all this one does. Apple phone doesn’t work on DVD system Or other electronics in the car. Brilliant GM, it’s only the most popular phone in the country since 2007. 11 years behind, just like your customer service and quality. Total failure, back to Toyota for me.
