Good Overall
I have 142,000 miles on my Suburban now. Other than the brakes needing regular maintenance, this vehicle has been quite good. The plastics on the interior are now starting to break, this is likely due to the hot summers here in Sacramento.
Not too impressed
Bought the car with 115,000 miles on it. Alternator replaced, brakes replaced, Pitman arm replaced, idle arm replaced($550), AC compressor worn out ($950), T.P.S replaced, many lights out, Asside from poor quality, we love the ride and feel of the car. Others we have had have gone well into the 100,000's mile mark before needing so much maintenance.
I love my getting out of trouble suv
I bought my truck used with 200,000 miles on it, besides tires it has been a dream come true. I have four boys and they always have friends, it gives plenty of room. For the first time I have room enough for anything. Whenever someone gets stuck they call me I can pull anything. I live in a place where the snow get deep, I even get calls from the plow truck for a pull every once in a while. I love my truck, never again will I buy a car!
GMC Suburban
I love our 95 Suburban. We get about 16 mpg on highway, 14 normal driving. This isn't bad to me considering my minivan got 19-20 mpg with far less room and no towing capacity.
