My review cameras have ben out since October. Parts were ordered in early November. The dealership has offered little to no communication as well as GMC customer assistance. For their top of the line Sierra, no one at GMC seems to care about their customers after the sale.

The initial quality of the truck was great. No issues related to the truck as of 9600 miles and 2 years. All subsequent issues have been with poor salespeople and service. Do not service your vehicle at Buick Chevrolet and GMC of Puyallup.

I purchased a new 2021 gmc sierra elevation with an 5.3 v8 off the lot. Within 57,000 miles and three tows, I had so many problems. The first dealership I went to kept trying to screw me saying certain parts were covered but they were under powertrain. I got absolutely zero help from GM and was amazed at how horrible their service is. Our family has bought vehicles from them for 30+ years and we’re starting to think about switching to another make. I had the ECM replaced twice, oil pressure sending unit 3 times, oil pump, and then the motor. I had a 5.3 in it. Seems like the whole 2021 line has been “covid models”.

Two years absolutely trouble-free

I was hesitant to buy a truck with a turbocharged 2.7L engine, but at the time there were few trucks on dealer lots, so I took a chance. I have the SLE double cab. Based on reading reviews with other engines, I made the right choice. I now have 54,000 miles on the vehicle and absolutely nothing has gone wrong. I did replace the windshield wipers and changed the windshield once, too. The acceleration is not sports car quality, but there is plenty of power. I cross a rather steep bridge near here pretty often and have never felt like the vehicle lacked power. The transmission shifts smoothly and that's part of why the package works. The multi-pro tailgate makes a lot of things easier and I've folded that center step down dozens of times. The bed is 6.5' plus an inch or two by 4' between the fender wells plus an inch or two. With the tailgate down and the cargo stop up, I've loaded 4' x 8' drywall and plywood sheets laid flat and secured in place. It was a good buy.
