Not thrilled with this car
We traded in a year old Toyota Highlander for this Danali mainly because the seats into the Toyota were too hard and uncomfortable and Navigation was horrible. The seats one the Denali are more comfortable and you have the two driver seat options. The design of the sunroof is horrible. It is a material that clips in. We have had in twice because that clip has broken. Unlike our other hard sliders, this one has to be opened all the way to open the skylight, sometimes we want sone air but not all the sun. You have to reach up and pull the cover closed. Poor design. The only decent drink holders are the two in front. The USB ports are set in the back of a cubby under the dash, no light and very hard to get your devices plugged in. Third seat not much more room then other cars in this class. Captains seats in the back have no console between them. Have had problems with the horn not working and have to take it in a second time to get checked. Last week, the car is in Park but keeops dinging saying the car is not in Park. Have had to restart and try again. Going in tomorrow to now get that checked. Seems like we are using a lot of gas. Overall, for the money, did not expect to have these issues. Can't afford to be buying a new car every year or two. Doubt we woukd get another GMC.

Blind spot
Love the ride, size, and gas mileage. Did not like I could not see due to large mirrors and wide pillars on windshield. Seat does not go up very high. Im 5'7", and had a hard time seeing at stop signs due to the blind spot.

Overrated
Play close attention to that quagmire of AndroidAuto. You MUST plug in your phone every time you enter and exit the vehicle if you want to use AndroidAuto. Designers should be fired.

Better Than A Broomstick for Granny
Be prepared to be riding high. Be careful turning around curbs, you are not driving a car. The Acadia is a beautiful glorified pickup truck. But it's still an awesome ride and a great looking, great driving machine. Granny could never look this good on a broomstick.

GMC No Value
I shouldn't be writing this because it's only going to bring the value down more. I drive in the city of Pittsburgh Pa. I'm averaging 15.5 t0 16.6 MPG, for the V6. Driving at night the headlight s are not bright need the fog lights to help, and you have to always turn them on. I'm try to get out of this lease now. Will never by a GM product again.

Gmc makes trucks but not parts to fix them
Gmc should be embarrassed on how they've handled my truck. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My truck was involved in an accident two months ago(it was parked) and it's still not fixed. My truck is just sitting in an auto body shop because GMC doesn't have the part needed to fix my truck. In two months, the part was never ordered and they flat out lied to the auto body shop. GMC just told us that there's no ETA for the part and they won't reimburse us for the lease payments as we continue to wait for the part. Lol they said it's not their fault the truck was in an accident. No, but it's your responsibility to provide parts to repair one of your trucks if it is.

Acadia Denali
With this vehicle you are getting the biggest bang for your buck. I looked at several high end cars, and this was my winner. Only negative is that the backseat windows do not have the build in sunshades. Otherwise, I can not come up with any complaints as of yet. I love it!

My first GM Vehicle since 1992
Coming from an Audi Q7...Tested all SUV’s in the segment. The Acadia has it all...love the new size, the engine is so smooth and accelerates so well. Fuel economy is impressive. Luxury amenities and fit and finish are superb. Headlights really need the fog lights to assist in providing a safe view at night. I can see us leasing another Acadia immediately upon the conclusion of this lease.

My best SUV ever.
I have had 7 SUVs, and this is the best ever. My gas mileage is better than predicted, almost 30 mpg for freewa thavel. Very smooth, quiet, comfortable ride. Styling good, not great. No service yet beyond oil changes and tire rotations.

Value....??
First, for a mid 40 thousand dollar car, I would expect more. My Sierra trade in-had more features. For example, there is no "express up" window feature, cooled seats etc. The front window pillars are large and impede vision while turning. You can't really see down over the hood and front fenders so when you crest a hill, it's always a surprise what is in front of you. My biggest complaint......I just got a sales solicitation offering me $28 if I trade in now. I owe $38!!! One year old, 8,000 miles. On the plus side the V-6 performance is great, plenty of power. I have the "All Terrain" version and it's grip is awesome. My off road trial was in a hilly pasture, not too extreme, but it performed well. Comfort is OK. Gas mileage almost exactly as stated on sticker. Sometimes better, even in AWD. Which reminds me.....the AWD indicator is on the console, not the dash. I often forget when it's in AWD and will not notice sometimes for weeks, probably wasting gas.

Rough Riding Acadia
The SUV is great in evey way except the suspension is very "tight" which leads to a very rough ride. We will be looking for a smother riding SUV in the next car we buy.

Problem vehicle
Well my wife and I bought this Acadia Denali brand new. We've had problems with the gear shift going into park. we took it to the shop to have it fixed and still have the same problem. we had the vehicle for two years and the battery went bad that quick on a $40,000 vehicle. it was the top of the line trim so it should have had the best of everything on it. Now the car has shut off on my wife while driving and won't start back up with only 36,700 miles on it.

80K and still just ok.
Acadia Denali owner since new. Came from Envoy SLT and still have it. What is worse in the Acadia.. #1 Seats adjust based on what fob it finds, not which unlocks the door and they only move when you push start button. This can push your knees into the dash if the other fob holder is shorter and the truck finds it first. You must quickly try and find (and hold) the button on the door to move the seat back. Terrible design flaw and in my case with my wife having her fob in her purse a very often occurrence. #2. Shift to park error (happens and you cannot turn off the car). #3. Denali rims de-laminating on all 4 rims after 1 winter. Replaced under warranty but new replacements starting to do it again. Very poor finish quality. #4. Why no light in the cargo area? Had to install a battery light back there. #5. Seats are uncomfortable and hard after a long drive. #6. Squeak in dash, (dealer said cause is hot and cold weather and cannot be fixed). #7. Weird almost chugging in transmission at hiway speed (hard to replicate for dealer, just live with it). #8. Hands free rear hatch opening never worked well when new. Still not any use. #9. Useless GPS doesn't have traffic unless you pay for subscription and voice recognition is terrible. Thank God for Waze and Android auto. #10. No roof rack bars, no steps on sides, no glass hatch at the back to open for carrying long items. 2 stars as they did manage to improve fuel economy and tires and brakes have lasted well and relatively trouble free and I like how it looks. Too bad they screwed up so many things that were great in the envoy with poorly thought out design and execution.

Love the Style of the Denali and Interior Room
Love the Style of the Denali and Interior Room with the captains seats in 2nd row. Plenty of power and nicely styled interior. Needs better cup holder for the back seats. Love the heated seats 1st & 2nd row and cooled seats in 1st row. The absolute best is the heated steering wheel! I wish the back roof glass vented/opened and the front moon roof opened more.

2017 GMC Terrain
I did a lot of online research before I honed in on the GMC Terrain. I have been a GM owner most of my life but in 2001 I decided to get a Toyota truck. Stuck with Toyota until February of this year when I decided I wanted a diesel truck. The Duramax was the only diesel I would consider so I went with a Chevrolet 2500HD. Anyway my wife decided that her 2000 Chevrolet Venture Van that we had for over 10yrs. was not doing it for her anymore. I still wanted to get back to the GM line so I started looking at the different GM smaller SUV's. It came down to the Chevrolet Equinox or Terrain. I chose the Terrain because I liked the bold look it has. There is no perfect vehicle and for sure they are all over priced. You just have to compromise and make a decision to go with your gut feelings. We have only owned the Terrain for a month now and so far the only complaint I have is the power steering is a little jerky when the engine is at idle. Seems like the idle could be slightly higher. Will have the dealer check it out. Other then that the V6 is the way to go. It is now the first of April 2018. Because of the distance from where we live to the dealer I have not taken it back to have the power steering looked at. When I take it I for the second oil change I will have it checked out. Anyway so far my wife and I really like the Terrain.

Dashboard delema
If you want to put your baseball cap on the dash forget it. The side view mirrors dont fold in. No HUD, how could they do away with that? Seats are narrow.
