Used 1991 Geo Metro Hatchback Consumer Reviews
Our Metro is Wonderful
We purchased this as a car to put a lot of miles on. It had 69,000 when we bought it and now has 115,000. We learned to drive a manual transmission on this car and it hasn't even needed a new clutch. The only things we've had to have done (besides general maintenance) is a new exhaust system, the hood release lever replaced, and the hood latch welded. We also had to have it rust protected as it was rusting underneath.
Turbo metro race ready
Its a great car stock but can also be upgraded for cheap ive put brembo brake system a turbo and 5 speed tranny with stage 3 clutch and still have the original engine they look small and weak but they can handle way more then u would think i had to upgrade to a chain timing have rims done to it race seats alot better tgen newer cars with all these saftey features to get in the way a very simple engine to work on can lift out with just your hands has alot of work done id never want to sell it. for so cheap it can be made into something people would never exspect very good car

The Best Car I Ever Owned
I owned this car for over 12yrs with no problems. It is a work horse, being in field service i travel a lot. During the yrs went thru 3 sets of brakes, 4 sets of tires and exhaust, and battery just went after 12yrs. Paid $6,000 new. And great on gas mileage.
A pretty good reliable car
Good car to drive. Lack of power going upills for a long period of time. Cant fing body kits or racing parts.
Geo Metro
I really, to be honest, did not like this vehicle. Everything about it stinks and I wish I never bought it. The only thing that could be good about it is if it died in a crash.
