Used 2005 Ford Mustang Coupe Consumer Reviews
I love Mustangs
I love the new design. I like how Ford included features from the 60's into the 2005 new design. My favorite car of the year. Thank you for making such a wonderful ride!
California Dreamin'
Awesome, excellent, more than I expected; a true fountain of youth! Gets the heart rate up and keeps it up - a great warm up before working out or for anything else for that matter! Bought a GT - Windveil Blue Metallic loaded. It gets a lot of looks and inquiries at traffic lights from those less fortunate to not have one! The 300 horses purr and roar at your whim. Excellent performance and handling on California's canyon & mountain roads and freeways. I actually get to meetings early now 'cause I want to be out there driving it. You don't have to be pushing it to have a good time driving but knowing that you can let loose anytime is a good thing.

Mustang or Donkey?
After less than a thousand miles Ford had to replace my entire engine because a loud noise was coming from it and they didn't know what was causing it. The new engine is making a new awkward noise. The wheel brackets had to be changed at 1200 miles because everytime I would turn the wheel, clanking noises would be heard. The interior has many rattling noises that can drive a person crazy, and going over cracks on the road is no vacation. There is a loud whistle coming from the engine at exactly 1500 rpm. Ford service is too slow and doesnt show much appreciation for it's customers. Every time a problem is fixed a new one shows up. Spend your money on something of better quality.
Bevy's pony
The car is so comfortable. i have back problems but none when i drive it. The transmission is awesome. Automatic sounds like a manual so you still get that sports car feel. Engine purrs. it is just so fun to drive. I used to consider driving a way to get from point a to point b; no more. We fight over who gets to drive it.
PonyRide
What an incredible car! Mine is a torch red GT with red leather interior and now 1,000 miles, and what fun to drive. Also have an '03 Corvette convertible with 50th Anniversary package, and while I still love it, the Mustang is more immediate fun to drive - fast, sure-handling, great visibility and big fun! Not for the timid - gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes - on the road, at stoplights, in parking lots, etc. Ford got it right this time - drives like the true cousin of my 44K mi, '68 Mercury Cougar XR7 with 390. The sounds & overall feel are much more similiar than I ever would have expected. BIG FUN!
