So Disappointed

I have this as a company fleet vehicle and have been so disappointed. I will first say the car looks sharp from the outside and handles well, I have the hybrid/gas combo and get almost 400 miles per tank of gas. The issue I have with how cheaply the cars are made and they are unsafe in my opinion, I have 34k miles and have already had several issues. The most concerning that all Fusion owners on my team and in other areas the car complete stop on the highway going 70 mph and you go to 20 mph and lose total power, all of us on the team have had to have the throttle body replaced. Now recall for the steering wheel coming off and my " I" Fusion has fallen off due to stick on letters. I am shocked at the good ratings for this car since I know so many that have had issues with Fusion.

I love this car

It all started when I had an accident with my 1988 Nissan Sentra. I'm the original owner of that vehicle which I purchased 30-years ago. When I had the accident I had to rent another car to drive. I requested an economy car to rent but they didn't have one on hand at that moment so they rented to me a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid. As it turned out, I fell in love with the vehicle. When I was informed by my insurance company that they would not pay to fix my damaged Nissan because the cost of repair was more than the car was worth I knew I had to purchase a replacement vehicle. So, I went out and bought a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Theodore Robins Ford in Costa Mesa, CA. Even though it 2017 vehicle, it already had over 86,000 miles on it. Apparently, it was a corporate car that was driven quite a lot. However, the company that own the vehicle took exceptional care of including meeting all of it's maintenance schedules. The car looks and drives like new. I purchased it for $11,000 plus tax and license. I'm extremely happy with it. Do you need to know more?

Constant electrical issues

Rides nice, looks nice, has a nice computer. Except the computer doesn't work all the time. It seems like every 3-4 weeks I have to call the dealership to have them inspect or repair something. So far the drivers window would get stuck down, then it was the front passenger window (both had an issue going on with the sensor thinking it there was a block - first time happened in winter, which I can understand with moisture freezing up, next time happened in late spring which was a wtf). Anyways, got those issues fixed. (Past issue was the steering wheel recall, had no issues, took it in, they changed out a bolt.. cool.) Now it is that the sunroof wants to very sporadically work. Was shut and not opening no matter what I tried, and now it is stuck open and not closing at all. I'm lucky it is nearing summer, but I live in Seattle where it rains. Great car with some seriously [non-permissible content removed] electronics. Hate to say it, but this [non-permissible content removed] is tiring and makes me think it will be the last Ford I ever purchase.
