I bought this affordable car brand new and put 86k miles on it. It really is a great, efficient vehicle but I started encountering problems around 60k. miles. Great car but not extremely reliable after 80k miles.

Will cost you in maintenance and tires

Cons: -I'm writing this in 2019. I got this car probably 4 or 5 years ago. It had 35k miles on it. Every single year I've had it I've probably put at least $1200 or more in maintenance and repairs into it. -It also eats through tires fast so that's an additional cost there. I live in Phoenix AZ so the hot weather probably doesn't help. -The car now has less than 84k miles on it and I just put $2000 into it yesterday because the front suspension, tensioner, and air conditioning. It's getting to be even more of a money pit and I've only put 50k miles on it in the years I've owned it. -It depreciates in value quite fast. Pros: -I like the concept of this wagon. It's a pretty feminine car and it's old, but it's spacious and you can do a lot with it. I've camped in it a few times and it's actually pretty comfortable if you put the back seats down. -Pretty decent and fun car for road trips. -You can stow a lot in it and the top racks are good for things like paddleboards and canoes.

This ain't your momas wagon. TheFocus ZTW Wagon is only 10in. longer than the sedan and uses the same, well tuned suspension. Power plant is the smooth running Zetec 2.0, 130HP engine. Drivers seat has up/down and lumbar support adjustment-very nice. Extreamly roomy interior and excellent sound system. Styling is totally Euro ( Get the CD-Silver)

this car has been great to me, i bought it used with 30.000 miles. the guy put a K&N and loud exhaust... sounded great, until i got caught with it (illegal in my state). the only problem with it was the alternator. except it was not, it was a fuse in between the alternator and the motor. Then the paint peeled, spotted, bubbled, and cracked on the bumper. the paint peel happened on the hatchback. right above the light. the BLACK car now had WHITE spots on the back. and the rear bumper is full of very small cracks. None of this is because of lack of care, i and very ocd on apperance.

This car has been GREAT. I bought it with about 30k miles on it and now it has 90k with very little put into it. Give her regular oil changes and this car will just keep on going. I had to put new tires on it, new brakes and change the lock cylinder when I bought it, but outside of that, it has been perfect. It runs smooth and shifts beautifully. I get about 25 mpg with mostly city driving. Sometimes when I shut the trunk it doesn't latch, but I just have to shut it again. Great car, will drive it into the ground.
