Never thought I would buy a Ford
Living in OC, I'm brand concious. All I need to say that I replaced a Mercedes GL450 with this car and I can tell you that this is better than the GL450. Ford has done an amazing job with the styling, feature, technology, and ride. The Ecoboost engine is great, with one turbo working the low speed and the other at high speed it gives you power on demand merging onto the freeway as well as lane change at high speed. The Sync technology is the best in the industry. The leather quality is comparable if not better than what I had in Lexus and Mercedes. Lastly, in a very image concerned world of OC, we're getting noticed in this vehicle, which says a lot about where Ford is going.
Exellent
This car is by far the best I have ever had. It's roomier than my wifes tahoe and handles better then my previos BMW 3 Series. It has the highest quality interior if ever drove, and its also the best looking on the outside. The dash isnt exactly the same case though. Its a bit dull, but that can be easily remedied. The New Taruses dash would be much better for this car. The transmission is a little fussy to. Despite this, I wouldnt think twice about buying another one.

Ford is Rising
Flex is a my first Ford since 1981. As you can see my display name, I've been a loyal GM customer. T-Blazer SS(me), Caddy Escalade(my wife), Impala SS and HHR SS(my two college daughters). My first impression was WOW. This Flex is really well made car: good power from ecoboost engine, huge leg room for 2nd raw seats, very good audio system and excellent Nav & Sync system. Fuel economy was also impressive too. I drove about 300 miles on highway.(with about 170 lbs of luggage) Trip computer showed 24.8 mpg between 65-70 mph and 22.4 mpg between 75-80 mph. better than what factory spec says. Only thing Ford need to do is prove reliability. Time will tell.
Home Run!
Ford hit a home run with this EcoBoost Flex. It's quick, comfortable and a blast to drive. I just came back from a week of golfing with my buddies and this car made the trip even better. Ford's Sync system beats all other telematics hands down. It's so easy to use by even those who are not tech savvy, like me. I hope Ford continues on its current path.
