F150 2023 STX 4x4. Transmission problem at 25k miles. Called several dealers around, they say need 7-10 days diagnosis, one service man told me a long wait list. I guess a common problem. and no loaner car!! Don’t waste your money, mood, and time on Fixed Or Repair Everyday (FORD)!! Terrible Experience!

First off, let me preface this with, i owned a 2017 f150 fx4 5.0 with the 6 speed that was 100% reliable, and all around a great vehicle.. So when it came time, I knew i wanted to upgrade to the new body style and get a higher trim model.. The new truck i went powerboost, it did get great mpg, 34mpg was my best around town and could see without trying 25mpg all around mixed driving.. Honestly the mpg is amazing.. The seats were comfortable over 6ft tall, the headroom is good front and back, but the A pillar is thicker and added to the blind spot, the base mirrors are too small to see out of, and they shrunk the turning radius so now it's harder to maneuver, the fit and finish is also god awful, the last truck even offroad didn't have a squeak or rattle in it, this one constantly rattles, the doors don't seal right and whistle, the thing does not feel quality, the sync 4 system, while the screen is ultra nice, the software leaves a lot to be desired, wireless carplay or android, have both, and neither stays connected causing you to have to figure out where you're going phone in hand, when hard cabled it does the same thing, the built in navigation which used to be free is now a service, but only if you allow ford and ford insurance company access to live driving data, otherwise there's no navigation any longer.. the material quality too went from feeling rugged to feeling built really cheap.. even the shift knob feels like terrible plastic.. the rear headrests on the older models would flip down, not anymore now they are fixed and in line of visibility, personally i'd go tundra, having now owned this thing for 5 months, and being it's been in the shop for electrical issues and having left me stranded twice in 7k miles, i'd recommend anything not this.. About 4 months after writing this, I was on my way home from work, at 75mph on the highway when the brake control module failed, at roughly 8300 miles.. This caused me to not only loose the main brakes but also the electronic parking brake.. leaving me barreling down the highway with no way to stop.. I even contemplated opening the door, hoping it would throw the thing into park.. I ended up riding a guardrail to get it to stop.. luckily no one was hurt or killed. They towed it back to the dealership, where they found the body control module failed (3rd time) and it took out the brake actuator module for the hybrid drive, which caused the brakes to fail. The Insurance company luckily totaled it, and reported the findings to the NHTSA, and sued Ford for the money after the failure, and the multiple repair attempts. Things I learned: 1. No more hybrids or electric vehicles 2. No more integrated safety crap.. 3. The master cylinder must be connected to the pedal 4. Emergency brake must be a pull handle or foot pedal 5. Warranties are worthless if the dealerships can't fix the issues 6. No More Fords 7. MPG means nothing if you are dead 8. I can fix nearly any gas engine myself, so it's pointless to buy anything else.

I have been driving the wheels off this truck. Since June 2024 have put 28000 miles on it. It's quiet, comfortable and has a smooth ride. I have not had any issues and the mileage is better than expected. It averages 23mpg between city and highway. If you keep it at the speed limit and drive in the city it would easily go over the state 24mpg. Get Blue Cruise as it makes long trips effortless. The handsfree driving is amazing!! This is a power boost hybrid as I didn't see it in the model description.

I’m a third generation Ford truck owner and this is the 4th Ford truck I’ve owned. These trucks are reliable and hardworking just like me. These new trucks are not only tough but they are comfortable and so technically advanced. With every truck I’ve bought I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well thought out these trucks are being built. Great job FORD!

I have owned my f150 for a year. Since day one, the radio/navigation goes and comes. Only half the time does it sink to my phone. Sometimes it freezes up. After two trips to the dealer, still does the same thing. This is my only complaint.
