Long Time F150 Owner Does It Again
My last F150 was a 2019 XLT, which performed very well for 4 years and 80,000 plus miles. Other than replacing the 3.5 cam phasers it never spent a day in the shop. Three days ago we traded it in for a new 2023 XLT. Wow! Love the new colors, the technology stuff, the ProPower option, and the FX4/Chrome packages. Ford has done it again! This version is a huge improvement in every way and promises to be another winner. In short, everyone should have a truck, and once again that truck should be a Ford F150!

2023 Ford F150 XLT 5.0
Just purchased a 2023 Ford F150 XLT 5.0 V8, agate black with black sport package and towing package. It is one awesome machine, powerful, and visually impressive inside and out. I hope to have it for many, many years to come.

Even his wife is happy!
My construction husband needed to retire his 2001 Ford F250. Since he is in retirement as well, we decided on an F150 XLT. He loves it. I love it! We are both so happy with it. It has all the bells and whistles that we wanted (ApplePlay is the best!), the seats are so comfortable, the back seat area is huge for extra riders or for cargo if we take it on a trip which we are actually hoping to do. Our other car is a Acura MDX and we love it, also, but wouldn't mind giving the F150 a road trip in the future. We had the bed sprayed instead of buying a fit-in cover and so happy we made that choice. He added a tonneau cover that rolls away should he need the space for tall items. It is good for doing jobs and carrying materials as he chooses to do so, but also for more domestic uses! No buyers remorse from us!

Rental
The vehicle rented is a Lariat. Comparing to my RAM Laramie I find it lacking. I like the engine and quiet ride. The interior is NOT comparable- it's got cheap plastic and leatherette or vinyl- not sure. The visibility is somewhat restrained when looking over my shoulder. Seats are much less comfortable than RAM. Wheels are also cheap compared with RAM. The technology seems good, but fairly busy. Even the wheel well panels are cheaper. I expected much more from a Lariat. Not a hater... just surprised.
Dead in the water
a few weeks ago I went out to start my 2023 Power boost Ford F150truck after having had a camper shell installed and a message came on that read "Stop Safely Now" No start. I tried to start it this morning and there was absolutely no power. Un able to lock the truck. I mean zilch, nada, no power. This truck was purchased 3 months ago brand new.
