New truck warranty no good

Our 2019 F-150 has 33000 miles and is still under factory warranty. There is a felt skid plate for this 4-wheel drive truck. Why felt? Of course, the felt has torn and is hanging down. I took it to the dealer and was told it is not covered under the warranty because it can tear from driving the vehicle. We bought the vehicle to drive. I called corporate customer service and they called the dealer. Star from corporate told me she sides with the dealer and she has the final say in the matter. She said there is no one above her. The dealer also told me that if we remove the felt skid plate it will void the warranty. Not pleased at all!
