put 30k on it in a year and satisfied

Bought this truck used with 32k it now has just over 60k, it was involved in an accident but you'd never know and I got a smoking price, bragging rights over now an honest review. I tow a demo trailer (6000lbs) and the power is unbelievable for a V6. the handling is great also. My father in law has a 2007 with the triton V8 and there is no comparison when it comes to handling. Mind you i'm a huge fan of the triton knowing they turn 200k regularly. We will see with eco-boost. So far its been great, I have the XLT crew cab with short bed. I do mostly highway driving and the MPG is about 15.8MPG when I'm not towing and about 9MPG when I'm towing in the Midwest. I do about 70MPH with the trailer on and 80MPH with it off. This is the first vehicle i've had with a turbo, its great. sometimes you will notice a lag if you drop off the gas and then hammer down. They can be a little noisy at times but the power is incredible considering its a V6, so I take that into consideration. Seats are comfortable and the center console reminds me of my old bronco (big square box).

Very Happy With Purchase

Love my truck! I just got a 2013 XLT 5.0 V8 and love driving it. I test drove all the other trucks in this class and to me, the F150 felt the most solid and drove the best. Even the RAM, which seems to be the reviewer's car of the month that they are gushing over didn't come close to having that commanding feeling that I got in the 150. Silverado didn't come close. Toyota tundra would have been my second choice, as it was a couple grand cheaper. I wanted eco boost, but went with the V8. Have friend who bought eco boost and the turbo shut down in damp weather on the expressway..seems to be an issue that government is finally looking into....a lot of complaints about it. Still love the 8

F-150 2013 EcoBoost Review at 5000 miles

I'm at 5000 miles and at 4400 miles I took the new truck I purchased in October 2013 in to the Ford Dealership for rust issues. The inside (back side) of the chrome bumpers are showing corrosion, the air intake in the front bumper for the ecoboost models has an angled plate that is rusting and the factory painted (black) areas underneath are already showing rust. The dealer contacted Ford after taking photos and Ford responded it's normal wear and tear, no action taken on it. The running board is also starting to corrode where the driver mirrors drips down onto it due to the design. in heavy rain the turbo misfires and the service engine light blinks and all power was lost.

STX with a BANG!

2013 Ford F-150 STX 4dr SuperCab 4WD 6.5 ft. SB (3.7L 6cyl 6A)

I purchased my 2013 F-150 STX brand new. I purchased it with the 5.0 V-8 Flex fuel engine and 6-speed transmission. Some positive highlights about the truck are: great power, excellent throttle response, great towing (I towed about 8,500 lbs from TX to KY and back without any issue), spacious interior even with the super cab, plenty of cargo space (6.5 ft bed) and super low maintenance. Some negatives: Vibration between 55-75 mph (after new tires and rims, vibrations persisted. Ford dealerships in KY and TX were of NO HELP) front doors hinges allow doors to open too wide or too narrow. This is an issue parking between vehicles and attempting to open the back suicide door. The center console of the 40 20 40 split bench seats is terrible. No cup holders or storage is offered on the arm rest. Overall, the negative highlights weren't enough to give me a bad experience. This truck offers more than enough for a daily driver without sacrificing its use for special weekend projects or long hauls. The STX package offers the minimum amount of luxury so I recommend it as a work vehicle or as a backup truck.
