Used 2011 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Number One Nugger hauler.
I recently bought a 2011 Lariat extended cab, black with 92,000 miles on it. Upgrades include a Rousch supercharger, bigger cams, race tuner, upgraded fuel system and exhaust. I am a cannabis farmer in Southern Oregon and I bought this truck to haul nugs of cannabis to be trimmed and sold at nearby dispensaries. This is the best nug hauler I’ve ever driven. First off I’m a Ford man. I have owned a few mustang 5.0’s as well as a current custom 04’ with a supercharged 5.0 Coyote. I bought this truck with very low mileage and accounting to the first owner before me, everything that usually goes wrong with these truck’s went wrong and was fixed under factory warranty. I have a small stack of invoices of what was done and it matches everything that usually goes awry with these within 50,000 miles. I should be hauling nugs for my company, “Nugger Farm’s” for a long time without worry. I love everything about this truck and if something ever happened to it, I’d replace it with the same model and year.

2011 Lariat Limited 4WD
FINALLY, Ford puts a work horse engine in the F150. The 6.2L is a monster in this truck. From the moment it starts, you know this truck means business. My first option for aftermarket was to run dual exhaust but the single side exhaust growl is amazing. And it's tuned to be quiet at higher speeds. This truck has no problem pulling an 8,000 pound boat with a triple axle boat. Still trying to fine tune the trailer brakes controller. The Navigation is brilliant, easy to read, basically having a laptop pc in your truck. The display monitor in the gauge pod is outstanding. Very easy to use. So much tech on this truck it is amazing. Paint is better than my Lexus. Great ride!

F150 Ecoboost w/poor fuel economy
I have owned my 2011 Ecoboost for 6 months now, have 8500 miles on it, and am very disappointed with the fuel mileage that Im getting (best on HWY is 15.8 & worst is 12.7, 14.075 AVG over the 8500 miles on my truck, calculations were done by hand). My 2008 Tundra was getting better mileage than my Ecoboost, and it was lifted 3 with Oversized 20 wheels. I traded my 2008 Toyota Tundra in on my F150 after viewing the video that Ford produced touting the engineering that went into this truck, the torque it produced, and all this with great fuel economy. Right now Im trying to find a dealership that will buy my F150 so I can go back to a Tundra!
1st time truck owner
Hello, I am a 1st time truck owner and i am extremely satisfied. Loaded her up with $3000 worth of acessories and only have 80km on her so far. Opted for the 5.0 over the ecoboost only because of the current inventory.
Lovin'my2011
While shopping for a new truck I researched the specs and read the reviews of the 5.0L 4x4 truck and compared the Ford to its competition. I must say I was impressed. The F150 was touted to be "best in class". At 1310 miles, turns out the reviews and numbers were right. I am highly impressed with the tow capability, comfort, fuel economy and cabin-extras Ford has included. I'm getting an overall average of 19.2mpg mixed, 21.0 hwy. & 17+ city. My 21', 4000 lb. pontoon boat tows effortlessly. I hardly know it's there and it doesn't impact my mileage too bad during tow (-4mpg). The cabin is the most comfortable of any vehicle I've ever owned. Great styling with lotsa room. Great truck !
Bad Transmition
I bought my truck on a Thursday with about 17000 miles on it by sunday the transmition was slamming down from gear one to two! It runs well but when pulling off you can feel the transmition shift rough and it slips from the upshift from 1 to two also. Im disappointed at ford for this. After web research I found that this is a common problem with this model and ford doesnt know how to fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very Upset With Ford
I have an F150 I bought 16 months ago and I loved the truck until the miles til empty start gaining and losing about 50 miles and the fuel gage started moving back and forth, and the information software has been restored then replaced. But the final straw was when I was driving down the road and the truck shut down. As it's under warranty, I took it back to Ford and the throttle body was replaced on a truck that is only 16 months old and have less than 20,000 miles on it. I have been a faithful Ford customer for more than 20 years but my faith has been shaken recently. Has anybody else had this problem?
The truck that made me leave ford
One of the sorriest trucks I ever owned will not own another Ford had trouble out of transmission since I had it paint started coming off the hole truck replaced brakes and rosters 4 times since I owned it replaced 4x4 motor on it brake electrical went out owned Ford's my whole life but the last one I will buy

Really Wanted to Love This Truck
Was happy with it until after the 36000 mile warranty ran out. Synch quit working twice and the service manager said that had been an "Issue." The stereo became "Possessed" and would scan continuously and would just have to turn it off for a few hours. Then, the transmission would occasionally slip out in the hills and far from dealer or help. Unfortunately, it was an intermittent problem and dealer couldn't find it? Then there was the head light switch that quit working and trip set, etc, etc. Electronics failing right and left at 50K miles. The visibility was very poor. I had to remove all the rear headrests to see well. The bed's sides were weak; a truck's bed should be stronger.
Up n down
I have replaced both turbos, timing chain, two rear end wiring harness's, various electronic gauges and lights, all of the injectors, and spark controls,, water pump. I've spent almost 8,000.00 on repairs. This is insane. Back to dodge!!!

Good,basic work truck!
#1. Bought this truck for my property services business and never looked back.Great gas mileage, good size, always starts, air blows cold.I had to beef up the rear springs to carry the loads.
I am impressed so far my 1st Ford
I am coming from a 2007 Nissan Xterra that was falling apart and becoming unreliable. I found a used F150 crew cab 4x4 5.0 10kmiles one owner. So far I love the ride very comfortable and quite. Great power. So far so good. after doing months of months of research Ford is the best looking and most reliable truck out there. I am not fan of any make of truck. I shop for my needs and likes and affordability this fit the bill. Gas mileage so far around town for me has been 15-16mpg and 19-21 highwas. This depends on how drive. you romp on the gas you will get poor mileage. Also it's truck I will be towing with it and use what its made for. I will write a review later after a few thousand miles.
Best truck I've owned
I bought my Ford F150 3 years ago and have had great service with it. I don't do much off road with it, but have used it often hauling trailers and it is my go-to for vacations with it's comfortable ride and roominess. I now have 167,000 plus miles on my F150 and it still does as good as the day I bought it. Just had the plugs changed at 165,000 and was told they could have gone a little while longer. I have been offered good money to trade my truck, but I think if nothing happens, I'll just keep what I have. If you are looking for a good truck that offers comfort and dependability, I recommend you check out the Ford F150.

We are loving it.
We have owned a newer, used Dodge truck, and a newer, used Chevy truck. They both have spent lots of time in repair shop. Our first truck was an OLD, used Ford. It wasn't pretty but it was reliable and cost us little in repairs. So, when it was time to invest in a brand new truck the choice was simple. We bought our truck 6 months ago. My husband has used it for work and we have traveled 7 hrs away in it. It works very well for both ! Friends who have taken a ride in it ask if it is really a truck because it rides as smooth as some cars.
Awesome torque and HP

Ford Raptor Build Project
2011 Ford Raptor 4Door with the 6.2 Engine We have been using the new raptor as a platform for our project build here at ATVPT, and this is one heck of a truck for all around usage.
Happy New Owner of 2011 Lariat Limited
Have a 2005 F150, best vehicle ever owned and just purchased the new 2011 Lariat Limited. Fantastic truck, all the gadgets you can think of and turn heads everywhere. MPG is ugly but that's expected. Looking forward to many years of pleasure. Considered many other trucks and SUV's but Ford is aggressive on discounts off MSRP. Don't think you can beat the bang for the buck on this!
My 5.0. Super crew xlt xtr
so far so good after 34000kms. no problems have arrived as of yet. Fuel mileage varies, most recently I completed a 900 km road trip with 2 adults and 4 kids averaging 110 kph in -20 Celsius weather in 4x4 nets 17mpg, which I thought was pretty decent. In summer unloaded in 2x4 would net low 20's I presume. Only minor things nag me like cheaper feeling materials in the cabin, but I guess it is a xlt after all.
Duck truck
Met of the miles used for hunting and fishing. No problems w Eco boost or anything warranteed.

2011 F150 Platinum
This was my favorite vehicle, which ranged from 2 Cadillac Escalades, Chevy S10, GMC Sierra, Convertible Mustang and Buick Century. The things I missed which are on on my 2017 Platinum was heated steering wheel and auto bright/dimmable lights which were both on the Escalades. The only mechanical frustration, which has been repaired in later models was that the auto shifting in Duel Air Controls got "stuck"twice, was expensive to repair and allowed outside freezing air in at the feet area making it very uncomfortable and cold for that side. Each side got stuck once- driver's first which I got repaired, Passengers side next, which made my mind up to trade a vehicle I otherwise loved having and driving.

Beast of a truck
The 2011 is my third F-150 and shes a beast. I really like the interior room and the functionality and comfort levels. I dont like the sh*tty MPG and the sound system. Overall this truck is a VERY solid vehicle, even a decade later.

2011 f150 XLT 5.0
Could not be happier with my 2011 f150. Bought it used to be a work truck/daily driver. The 5.0 engine gets respectable fuel economy for a V8 engine with plenty of power for towing. Ride quality is excellent for a full size truck and the cab is comfortable with plenty of modern features, even for a 10+ year old truck. I have had dodge trucks all my life and I am very happy with my decision to take a chance on a Ford!

2011 F-150 Lariat
If you think the Microsoft Sync system is good, you're wrong. Dead wrong, at least for the 2011. I ride in my friend's 2014 and it's a lot better.
