Reliable
I've had my EB Explorer for over 13 years, and it has been extremely reliable. Had some expensive warranty work many years ago. Only problem now is that sometimes the transmission "sticks" when I put it in reverse on cold wet winter mornings in CA. I cope with that by driving forward a foot or so, and then putting it into reverse. Paint is oxidizing on the roof due to hot CA summers.
Overview of an inspiring vehicle.
I purchased my Explorer from my girlfriend's father who bought it right out of the factory in April of '91. It only has 105,335 miles on it because he always telecommutes, but is truly a beautiful vehicle.

Very good fun to drive
Got the explorer at about 63000 and besides the dealership not doing the work they were suppose to and making us pay for it nothing has gone wrong and being a teenager im a little harder on it . i go off roading in it and the only problem is i have to repack my bearings a little more often.starts everytime tows and hauls anything i have not enough room to say all good stuff even for 166000+ miles
Built Ford Tough
Bought Used, Replaced Clutch First Thing. Used as Salesmans / Deliver Truck, Always Overloaded by alot!!!! Always been reliable, just normal wear items replaced and normal service. Used to teach son how to drive w/clutch and towed behind motor home on vacation, now pushing 200m and still going strong!!!
