Good for me
I've had my Sport Trac since May of this year and have about 3500 miles to date including an 18 hour drive. This is my first brand new vehicle and I have to say I have been extremely pleased. For someone who necessitates versatility, this is the vehicle for you. The amenities on this truck are great i.e. power rear slide, power sunroof, 6cd in dash stereo, rear seat climate control, leather interior, etc..I'm not an all frills kind of gal, but it's nice to have hauling ability plus luxery. As the old cliche' goes, So far, So good.
Overall Opinio
Though we have had issues with front disk/disk pads squeeking. This seems to be common problems with all Sport Tracs. The dealer replace rotors and and pads twice, but after 4000 miles the squeek came back. Now I use different disk pads and now no squeeks. I replaced the original shocks and sway bar to more obsorbent shocks that reduces the rear of the Sport Trac from bouncing and the rear sway bar increase vechicle stability in turns and in hard braking, though the ride is much stiffer -

Fun Truck
Never thought of owning a truck until I drove the Sport Trac. It had everything I needed from comfort to cargo capacity.
st
love my truck, have added $1000 in after- market parts. this is the only truck ford has made and never had to advertise it has sold on looks and owners praises
Great Value
I love my ST! The ride is super quiet, especially for a truck! I was quite impressed with the initial quality. The power is great. Even though they have been out for 3 years, it still turns heads. There is a great support community and owner's meets across the US. I recomend it totally!
