Used 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Consumer Reviews
Sport Track- Reliable tough and fun
Great all around vehicle. 50,000 miles with no problems. 20mpg is a bit tough to take for me as a commuter, but I can't give it up.
Sport Trac takes you in style
I love the vehicle and it rides smooth. I am a 4 time jeep owner now making the switch. The practicality of this vehicle is unmatched. All the comforts of a explorer with a pickup bed.

Sport Trac Review
I've had this truck almost 2 years and still like it a lot. I like the versatility of having a smaller truck that I can haul stuff around in while not having to drive a big monster of a vehicle.
Happy 55 yr. old!
I have been drivig Ford custom Vans for 30 years and decided, after the kids were gone, that I needed something different! I sold my 97 custom Ford van and ordered a new 2002 Explorer Sport Trac last Oct. with every option available and waited till Dec. 26th to get it. I then ordered some other available optins from my Ford dealer and had them installed and then ordered gray metal flake pin stripping and had that put down the sides and I really LOVE my car/Suv/truck..it has been call everything under the sun, but I LOVE it! Wish the gas mileage was a little better..it's almost like driving a big Econoline again..with the mileage, but I LOVE it.
We've now had TWO Sporttracs
We leased the first one off the truck at a dealership. Loved it. After two years, we bought one "loaded" and have not had a single complaint. Wife loves the higher view, comfort, and reliability of the unit, expecially the factory road assistance (if she ever needed it!!) We even bought the extended 7 yr. 75,000 warranty, but have not needed any assistance. We've added custom wind screens - custom painted to match Sporttrac silver.
