extremely heavy doors would barely open from inside, steering was difficult and cumbersome, and electronic locks with NO manual thumblatches front or back. No way will i buy. hope all, expeditions are not like this one.

Be aware that the ride is bouncy and heaven forbid you have a rough road. You will literally bounce into the next lane. I am lucky if I live through owning this! So sketchy! It is horrible and I hate it. I tried to trade it in. STicker was 68K in dec 2017, new. Now, I tried to trade Dec. 2018---worth 28K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible resale!! Do not buy Ford! It is awful. I am stuck with it and worst purchase I have EVER made! Words cannot describe the awful car this is!!!!!! Horrible . Do not buy!!!

Purchased our champaign colored beauty 5 years ago with 50K miles on it. Nearing 90K now. Drives and rides like a luxury car, with no road or wind noise at all! Having formerly had a Sprinter 2500 diesel, my observation could be exaggerated though. Regular maintenance costs plus replaced the back-up/info screen with a $100 used one from a Focus in the scrap yard and installed for free by a friend. Yes, it was the same screen in the focus! Oh well, it works fine and we are very pleased with everything about it. Our 5 sons are adults now and they are comfortable in any seat including third row. Luggage space is great! I had the Sprinter for 18 years and hope to have the Ford at least as long!

2017 EL limited Rust Bucket

I bough the vehicle in CO with 17k miles I use it to pull a 2 horse trailer to and from Florida. The vehicle doesn’t see snow ever yet the rocker panels underneath the vehicle are starting to rust . The vehicle gets washed 3-4 times per month cost to fix over $15k. My 87 and 08 F250 and F350 don’t have this issue and they see snow and salt As far as pulling it used to “Skate “ until i put 10 ply tires on. At 86k i am disappointed with the product In researching the F150 has similar rust issues.
