My Expedition, Dream Come True
Have really enjoyed owning this car. Adequate storage and luggage space, able to take children and grandchildren with us, looks great and have been able to tweak a few things to enhance hauling capability. Put on a front class III hitch and modified the rack to haul bicycles and a canoe. Have easily hauled building materials and have moved furniture.
Definately Ford Tough
I drive my Expedition like a truck. I had a liner constructed to fit the back end with the seats down & I haul everything! It tows our 2 horse trailer without a problem. I am a avid upland bird hunter & I find it to be the perfect vehicle in the field. Dogs & passengers travel in total comfort. Ford definately did things right with this model, the new ones are just big cars

I love my Ford!
I am in construction as is my Ford Expedition; we both handle it very well. It has all the power I need for towing yet a very smooth ride that my 6 month old daughter enjoys. It sticks to wet or even icy roads well and takes mud and rough terrain with ease. I change the oil and keep up on scheduled maintenance and it has never hinted at any mechanical problems to date. I realize it is not the funnest task to wrestle the third seat out if you need the extra space but other than the weight of the seat itself it unlatches nicely. I have 5 children who love riding in "daddy's big truck" and would never put them in anything that I was not sure about. I am SURE about my Expedition.
Not bad but not great either
I like the Expi but in 12K miles I don't love it. In the 18 months we've owned it (lease turn-in), the switch that controls the turn signals and BRAKE LIGHTS has broken, the "brake" warning light and the "check engine" light have both come on. Plus one of the rear windows severely bends weather stripping when you roll it up. The shop couldn't tell me why the brake light came on and I'll have to go to the dealer ($$$) for the and the check engine light as it gave the local auto parts sensor reader conflicting messages. I have the 17" wheels and 4x4 options which may make the vehicle too tall for city folks with a baby like us.
a good all around suv
have had no problems with it so far. the gas is kinda expensive but other than that its a good car and drives like a champ...........I put a K&N intake on it and that made it sound clean and mean.
